Hey viroids!
Hope you're ok mini, so glad things are progressing! You must be tired but I'm glad you're getting to take it easy a bit despite the contractions. Don't forget to keep eating and drinking to keep your energy up.
splodge get bouncing! You need a back up just in case the whole teleporting thing goes awry.
I refuse to put these pom poms away until someone has a baby! kato you must be getting excited too :D
catsofa is also due now so we'll hopefully hear how she gets on on Facebook.
My due date would've been the 13th May with my rainbow baby, so I'm feeling a bit funny about the next few weeks, but I'm focussing on getting excited for when it's my turn.
tee I'm sending you some very unmumsnetty hugs because it sounds like you need some. Nothing wrong with crying into scotch eggs, I cried into a bowl of pasta last week and had much less of a reason than you to do so. I know baby can engage then unengage, but I'm no expert! Hopefully he will stay put for now. You've had a rotten time of it. If it helps some ladies in my fit mummy class had SPD and various other pregnancy issues and went to delivery room on crutches. The minute that baby popped out they said the problems disappeared. Bloody hormones! Take it easy lovely.
pixie that sounds very frustrating! I do agree that they can't refuse you a CS if you had a horrific first birth. My mate was very adament she wanted a CS and was worried they'd say no, but they agreed to it. How's wee one today?
purple hooray for a happy baby! Bet you're looking forward to seeing it on the screen - do you think you'll find out the flavour?
Viroids there are loads of baby events going on. Just picked up a Grobag from Boots for £17 and they also have lots of clothes on sale. Tesco have a baby event on and I just got 2 tubes (60g) of Bepanthan for £4, less than buying the 50g one. Emma's diary has some good deals on this week but I don't need any of the stuff that's on offer.
Anyone else using Burt's Bees Mama Bee cream on their bellies? I love it and the midwife remarked that the skin on my bump is all nice and soft and smooth, I would totally recommend it.
I've lost the ability to reach my feet so my dh had to put my socks on for me today. He thought it was hilarious then to tuck my trousers into them, knowing full well I can't do anything about it unless I sit down and pull my feet up. Not meant to do that because it puts pressure on my hips. I need to book in for a wax - no idea what's going on down there because I can't see it but I'm sure it must be due...
I'm so excited because I'm having my pregnancy massage tomorrow. My shoulders and back are all achy and I'm so looking forward to someone making it all better. Dh is great at massaging my legs but he does get bored after a few minutes, whilst I could happily sit there for hours!
Went for scrambled eggs and salmon on toast with my friend at a posh tea shop in town because I've got day off work today. Felt like an utter luxury. I had to buy dh a present because it's our cotton anniversary on Monday. Bought him a Heisenburg (Breaking Bad) baby grow for a laugh :-) I hope he likes it. We don't have a lot of money so we're just getting jokey presents and going up to London for the night. Booked a very cheap hotel (with no window in the room) so that we can afford to have a nice meal out.
God I'm rabbiting. Sorry.
Oh yeah - and new bfp on JSers! Gouda will hopefully be joining us soon! I think niff had a bfp this morning also but it was faint so she's going to poafrer to check.
