Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 27th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

here!

mountaingirl01 · 15/05/2015 19:23

I would love to have a cleaner, I am so obsessed with keeping the house clean (pixie I completely understand your not wanting/being abke to relax in a messy house!) And this time of year that extends to our garden/orchard as well. The plan was always that I do the house dh the garden, but this has completely gone out of the window, especially as I am already at home on off days now whereas dh is still going out and climbing/running ! Makes me angry because once I have got all that done I have no energy for anything else anymore so I feel like my life rotates around being a full time housewife and full time worker! Things will have to change when I have birthed and finish mat leave... apologies that turned into a bit of a rant

Toast85 · 15/05/2015 19:43

You lot are posh with your cleaners!!
I just have a dirty house clean when people are coming round or when I notice the grime/dust. I live with the cat hair. It's not killed me yet. Obviously I wipe up the kitchen daily, change sheets and towels regularly etc, I'm not filthy :)
But I would love a cleaner if we could afford it, fat chance ever though.

Niffertiti · 15/05/2015 19:44

Oooh, there's no way the niff marriage would cope without a cleaner. DH is wonderful in so very many ways but is not, erm, of a practical nature. And I just want to be outside. So I do gardening and DIY, he does admin and money, and the most wonderful lady ever cleans our house and prevents divorce Grin.

I sometimes feel guilty that I don't clean my own house.Shock

ChatEnOeuf · 15/05/2015 19:56

I've just bitten the bullet and got a cleaner too. Just couldn't do the bathrooms properly, got BHs sweeping a single room - lazy uterus/baby! We had one in the UK when I worked FT and it was a Godsend, I hate it and DH would wait until he couldn't bear it before blitzing over a weekend. I love the laundry though, and try and stay tidy.

La my BH are more uncomfortable this time around (and more frequent). Not painful, but very noticeable and tight.

Purpleball · 15/05/2015 20:02

I've had a cleaner for as long as I've done this job - nearly 10 years now. I wouldn't be without it. It's £30 a fortnight so not massively expensive. My last one only did 2 hours so £20 but it wasn't enough. New ones have time to be more thorough.

WilHarlot · 15/05/2015 20:17

I've fallen behind and only half managed to catch up. Not liking the cleaning/tidying chat. Makes me feel bad as my house is a hovel. I need that house doctor woman to come round and chuck everything out.

Fleurchamp · 15/05/2015 20:39

wil I am obsessed with throwing things away. The night before bin day I wander around the house with a black sack chucking things in.

I have a strict one in, one out policy on clothes and shoes.

Shame I married a hoarder Hmm although I do have a tendency to "stock up" on beauty products

MIL is here. She is rubbing me up the wrong way already, not sure why, maybe it's my tolerance levels. She keeps following me around the house and asking if I am tired.

Hobbit19 · 15/05/2015 20:42

.... starting to be quite convinced that we should get a cleaner now..... Smile

PixieChops · 15/05/2015 21:54

Fleur I'd end up snapping "yeah I'm tired of your shit, now do one!" Lol
Apologies to rant about cleaning, I'm insanely jealous of all you viroids with cleaners.
La I've just nearly weed reading that woman shouting at the potato. Me and OH can't stop laughing about it, will definitely be checking out that Fred!
Had a bit of a shite day, had so much to get and so ready for DDs birthday tomorrow. Been running around since 8:45 this morning and sat down an hour ago after putting up balloons etc. tomorrows jobs are picking up the cake, picking up all party food and preparing it before 1pm! Wish me luck!
OH will be busy putting up a swing whilst looking after DD whilst I run around like a blue arsed fly for the second day running. I would've got the food today but someone had failed to pay OH for a weeks work last week (excess of a grand owed!) and bills came out today so we were left with £50!! He did finally get paid by which time it was too late to go to the shops. I was not a happy bunny and have been stropping and crying all day today. This week has really got to me, what with grandad dying on Monday and one thing and another I just want to crawl under my duvet and sleep for a fortnight! Going to bed in a sec- fucking exhausted doesn't cover it right now Confused

Toast85 · 15/05/2015 22:05

Oh pixie, stressful week! Really hope it all goes well tomorrow though and you can put your feet up soon!

Purpleball · 15/05/2015 22:16

Oh pixie what an awful week. Hope dd has a lovely party tomorrow

Pud get one, you won't regret it Smile

Purpleball · 15/05/2015 22:16

Fleur I have plastic crates of beauty products. It's ridiculous!

gaggiagirl · 15/05/2015 22:55

Like fleur I throw everything out. I have a strict one in one out policy on everything including food and drink. My house is bare so everything gets liberally doused in bleach or zoflora 5 days a week.

Niffertiti · 15/05/2015 23:11

Gaggia you scare me a bit with your cleaning regime. I remember you said something about having a laundry system so strict you don't have a laundry basket. Terrifying.

gaggiagirl · 15/05/2015 23:24

Aw Niff thanks. It is indeed a laundry system of military precision. No laundry basket needed in this house I do live in a haze of bleach fumes though. I might be putting laundry in the fridge for all I know

DulcetMoans · 16/05/2015 00:41

Shitty week there pixie, but hopefully the party tomorrow will be wonderful and worth all the prep.

Not a good start to the stay then fleur, hope you are practicing your tolerant face! My boss asks me that question every time she talks to me - think it's the only thing she knows about pregnant ladies.

Jealous of all your cleaners, I don't think I will ever be allowed. I fortunately DH is not only a horder or all sorts of shit but he is also very lax on the cleaning. His job is washing up and it is the one thing we could divorce over! He found the number for a gardener in my purse this evening and was really put out. Was planning to sneak him in to sort my border when DH was at work. Fat chance now!

Been at a 30th birthday all evening and I can't cope! Back hurts, so tired. Too pregnant for this shit!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/05/2015 06:51

Well jel of all your cleaners! My ambition is someday to be able to afford a cleaner I like to aim high in life! at the moment we are focussing on paying off debt but that should be gone by September as I'm paying half my monthly salary to it so hopefully when I go back to work we will be better off. I do like cleaning though so would probably still do it as well!

Pixie what a horrible week you've had ! Fx that today is a lovely day for your family and especially your little one and that it goes smoothly for you. How many people are coming to the party?

Niff! You're not on the stats sheet - I'm slipping as the extremely anal stats lady! What is your due date lovely?

Pud I love that your boss guessed! Grin. On the day I got bfp I hadn't even told my dh yet (although I'd told all you viroids!). Went to speak to a girl at work who said 'you look different- ooh you're pregnant!'. She's a friend so knew we were ttc.

Hip is giving me gyp this morning, ouchy

I think I'm dragging dh to purley way tomorrow to do ikea and the baby shops. He's got away with it so far but I need to crack on and finish nursery.

Anyone else doing hospital class as well as nct? Got our first hospital class this morning 9-1 - first antenatal experience for Mr La !

Dulcet I definitely can't party anymore! Went to pub last night and was home by ten!

LaLaLaaaa · 16/05/2015 06:52

Where is lemon?

PixieChops · 16/05/2015 07:32

Thanks everyone for your wishes for DDs party, I'm sure it'll be fun for all involved. Reckon there'll be about 30 people in my house plus kids Confused fx it doesn't bloody rain as I'm hoping to stick most of them in the garden! And there's no gazebo lol ah well they can all just get wet Grin
Gaggia I am insanely envious of how you manage to control your washing pile that you don't have to have a basket... Teach me the ways oh wise one. I have an (overflowing)ikea bag in the bathroom cupboard (that's where the washing machine is- not our home it's rented- always thought it was a bit peculiar but at least clothes are never downstairs unless they are on the washing line)
DD wanted to celebrate her 1st birthday early by getting up at 4:45. We cuddled her and made her all warm so she'd go back to sleep again.. Woke up at 7. Not too bad but still so tired. I'd forgotten how much hard work third trimester was even though I only did it a year ago! Hope my energy levels pick back up again soon.
Doesn't help that I think DD is going through the terrible twos at 1!! She has paddies when told "no" fx this stage doesn't last long otherwise she'll be packing a red spotty bag on a stick and being sent off into the real world.
I hate DP he's asleep... Why? Why does he get to have longer in bed than I do? The bastard.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/05/2015 07:39

Pixie LTB!

Grin Just kidding

Enjoy your day

Hobbit19 · 16/05/2015 07:47

Ha ha surely you can do bad things to him while he is asleep Pixie? Just to cheer yourself up. Give him a gangsta gap in his eyebrow or draw on a moustache :-)

DulcetMoans · 16/05/2015 07:50

I am doing both la. Just signed up for everything at the beginning. I don't think there's any probably with that, but I've only had one NCT. We were one of the more informed couples because of the NHS classes but didn't say so we didn't look really suck up to the teacher! NHS has been quite light touch in my experience so hoping NCT compliments being more specific.

Send DD up to jump on the bed pixie, that will help and you can have a little sit down!

PixieChops · 16/05/2015 09:05

I agree with you La! LTB indeed! How dare he sleep! Haha! Oh I just left DD in the bedroom in the end, he soon got up! Well I need to have a shower and go buy food for DDs party, need to make a list or I'll end up coming home with all sorts!

PixieChops · 16/05/2015 09:05

Lol Pud! He's a vain git if I messed with his face he'd be mortified. Very tempting though haha!
