PooSweats - good luck for your scan tomorrow. I've even thought so far ahead to apologise to scanner if nothing is seen, it must be a terrible part of the job. I just keep thinking of a whole new round of fertility treatment and not sure I can do another one. Trying to keep positive.

Abbey I'm glad I'm not the only one with no bump

mrswishy it's totally natural to be scared about your scan, I was petrified before mine too! Similar to you, no bump or symptoms. It's very strange to think there's a little thing wriggling around in there (as I found out at the scan!). And you've gone through so much to get to where you are now, nerves are understandable.

Omg tiredness has just hit me I need a nap but I also need to clean! Boo hoo

afternoon off work and all I've done is nap, although in my defence was called out to work at 11pm last night so I think I deserve a lazy afternoon

I finally got my scan date!! 12th may, I'll be just over 12 weeks. so glad I have a date to look forwards to now!

Hoping that when I get home there are blood test results of combined test! Bit worried as midwife said if haven't heard in 3 days it is usually bad news and it's been 4!!

They told me the opposite reb that they'd call with a problem but the longer you wait the better. Got my letter after about 2 weeks and was all OK

I'm so tired and a bit dizzy, wondering if I'm anaemic again. I think I find a new worry every day!

I got a text just now saying I was "low risk".

reb are you sure she didn't say, if you haven't head in 3 days, it's GOOD news? I thought they rang you more urgently if you were high risk, but if you were low risk they took longer (ie sent a letter/text)? It could vary place to place though.

Me too Reb - no news is good news. I had the scan on a Sat, and then a letter the following Monday week. I would have received a call in 3 days if bad.

Finally on the laptop so thought i would post a photo of baby catmad :-) does its face/jaw look weird btw? been worrying about it!

I was told that too if it's high risk they will ring ASAP if low risk a letter later on.
I'm hoping my scan date will come soon!!

reb, like others said I was told id get a phone call within a week for high risk and letter in 2-3 otherwise. It was last Wednesday so I'm hoping I'm low risk.
I also thought they'd mentioned a text but the phlebotomist said letter.
cat I think it's probably just the angle of the photo.

Place marking. If I remember tomorrow I'll post a picture of my belly at the beginning and end of day. It's worrying!

Hi all - been very quiet as been feeling absolutely horrific. Hoping I'm coming through the worst of it now as 11+4

Hope everyone else is doing well and I'll catch up quickly.

Had my booking in today and nearly died as my BMI was 29. I feel like a total heffalump. Midwife was very nice as I nearly fell off the scales and told me not to worry. I've put on half a stone in a week!!!!!!! Not helped by mainlining carbs for the last 10 weeks, I'm sure. She thinks it will all even out in the end and I've been instructed not to weigh myself for a couple of months I think she could see how shocked I looked and hopefully once I resume my normal diet I won't put on much more weight apart from necessary baby weight

After that, I went to the dentist who is my "lovely" DH. Just relaxing in the chair when he loomed over me with a gigantic fuck off needle. I managed to squeak "Oh. Are you giving me an injection?! I'm just here for a check up you fucker". Apparently he was just passing it to the nurse. I nearly had a bloody heart attack.

Then had to reverse out of the car park and nearly ran over one of the other dentists. I only realised when he tapped in the back windscreen

I really wanted to cry and go home and eat biscuits but due to my new found plumpness had two glasses of water instead. What a treat!

toots I'm monitoring my hair growth religiously ATM as I'm sure that my leg hair virtually stopped growing when I was pg with dd but quite the opposite with ds, so I'm hoping of a clue about the gender of this one! Timing wise would say boy but I have this vague hunch it's a girl :)

Talking about hair... I've continued bleaching my facial. I have stopped using hair removal on bikini though. Problem is the alternatives aren't great I tried to wax and succeeded in burning myself and ended up in tears. Should I try a salon? Sorry if TMI ...
