stickytoffeegirl · 30/04/2015 12:08

I'm so confused about all the things I'm not supposed to eat!

BlueBananas · 30/04/2015 12:08

Are you people kidding me?! I can't tell you how long I've wanted a dippy egg and toasty soldiers and thought I couldn't! In going to Morrisons right now to celebrate with a lunch of eggs and peanuts Grin!

And Focus that's nothing, this is my bump at 11 weeks! Dreading how big I'm going to get!...

Apparently steak not good unless cooked through. Who wants well done steak? Parma ham okay if you freeze it for 4 days first...hmm, might have to do that! Eggs have to be solid.

Hmm, I'm feeling the need for lunch now..!

Ohhh shiny new thread! Place marking!

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 30/04/2015 12:13

If you're in the UK, lion marked eggs have been vaccinated against salmonella. I've always thought it weird that was given as a reason when it'd be almost impossible
The NHS website is good but you have to read the whole thing e.g. the foods at the top say things like 'sushi, peanuts, salmon' then when you scroll down it says you can eat them. A bet a lot of people don't scroll down!

Dixiebell · 30/04/2015 12:14

My bump, this was at about 8 weeks! Argh! I even already have popped out belly button, well it never went down from the last one. I'm surprised nobody has noticed. Or at least they haven't commented yet...

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 30/04/2015 12:16

Wow, these bumps are amazing! I've always carried small which is good for hiding but annoying later on when people say in a concerned voice 'is the baby ok, you're so small' Funnily he was big for dates and I had too much fluid, no idea where I was keeping it

PooSweats84 · 30/04/2015 12:31

Laura I'm pretty sure runny eggs are fine if they've got the lion stamp, so I've read. Mmmm tuna sarnie, I've steered clear so far as you're only allowed 2 tins a week or something and once I start on the tuna I just want more! I'm so glad about the peanuts though, in my last 2 pregnancies I missed my peanut butter so much!!

PooSweats84 · 30/04/2015 12:38

I'm loving these bump pictures, I'm so glad I'm not alone! dixie I've been like you since I pretty much found out at 6 weeks. How my DD hasn't said anything I don't know, she's 12 and pretty hot on things, I keep asking my husband if maybe she just thinks I've always been this fat?! Hmm

Lauramum23 · 30/04/2015 12:48

I love love love peanut butter and even when we were advised not to eat during last pregnancies I still did! Naughty! And oh well bugger me they are all fine! I don't like pate and weird cheese anyway gimme a bit of cheddar and I'm happy! And steak has to be pretty well done too.
But I'm sorry I'm ignoring the egg malarkey! So long as they are lion stamped like you say.
I thought tuna was limited yes and I think I may be wanting more of it Confused I'll have to be careful I was even thinking of finishing off for my tea!

Dixiebell · 30/04/2015 12:51

Poo, haha, actually in that photo, I edited out my 4.5-year-old DS, who was standing right in front of me, he didn't mention either the size of my belly or ask why I was taking a photo of it!! Oblivious...!

BowiesJumper · 30/04/2015 12:51

Feeling inadequate about lack of bumpage now! If I hadn't had my scan I'd be worried the baby was too small! Haha. At least I don't need any new clothes yet...

mrsscarlettbutler · 30/04/2015 12:56

Bowies I have no bump either, just some attractive bloat higher up. Feel like a bit of a fraud, can't wait for it to 'pop' out (as everyone assures me it will...)

Gr33dyeggs · 30/04/2015 12:56

Can I hop on the bus? I've been stalking for a while! I have an edd of Oct 30th but ds went 9 days over. I'm nearly 35. Have ds of 6. Had 2 miscarriages at 9 and 11 weeks previously. 13+6 and had a scan last week and so far so good so plucked up the courage to join.
Loving your bump pics!

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 30/04/2015 12:57

You can join me in small / no bump club Bowie's I thought I had one but it's gone. Last pregnancy I said to the midwife at my 16 week appointment I was worried it wasn't big enough and she thought it was hilarious. DS is the tallest of babies his age that I know (despite premature-ness) so I don't think it matters on baby size.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 30/04/2015 13:17

I love all the little bumps! Mine is also big in the evening, but I'm relatively sure it's pretty much all crisps rather than baby...

I am feeling so sick today Sad Thought it had gone but it's back with a vengeance!

I am still having runny eggs and slightly rare steak. And I had a brie sandwich the other day... I work on the basis that I buy pasteurised cheese and stamped eggs, and have never had listeria or even food poisoning before so why would I get it now. And it's pretty much only dangerous as you get dehydrated from the sickness etc, which can be easily solved with a drip... I am a dreadful person looking back at that!!

PooSweats84 · 30/04/2015 13:21

I swear when I turn up for my scan tomorrow the sonographer is going to think there's a mistake and I'm surely there for my 20 week scan!

CishAndFips · 30/04/2015 13:33

ohh new thread. scan went well but got to go back for blood test because im too far along. i jumped forward and am 14+5 weeks now. edd now 24/10 butim going to stay put if thats ok. if you say no im going to tie myself to the outside of the bus and tag along anyway haha

TakesTwoToTango · 30/04/2015 13:36

Ha ha cish I think we can allow you to sit inside :)

mrswishywashy · 30/04/2015 13:44

Place marking.

Jealous of the scans and bumps. Getting worried about scan on Tuesday, my symptoms are gone and now bump at all although I did dream of one and when I woke up was rubbing my tummy.

For my scan I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. Seems a very long time since seven week scan. Already booked my 16 week appt and have a consultant appt for the week after.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 30/04/2015 13:50

Dippy egg is fine, peanuts fine.
The only one I am really cautious about ate the listerosis ones like unpasteurised cheeses and pate because even though the risk is rare, it is fairly catastrophic. Plus dh is French so we easy a lot of cheese usually.
But it is ok if you cook it. Yum yum, tartiflette.

Crumbelina · 30/04/2015 13:54

Oooh Cish, you've got the same due date as me! :) Possibly AmandaMae as well unless she's jumped back/forward. I've stubbornly stuck to this bus despite being an imposter. The October bus looked so full when I turned up but I think we're a thread or two ahead of them now. Smile

tootsroots · 30/04/2015 14:01

Gr33dy welcome!!!!!! Quite a history, we are here to hold your hand!

I lost weight so everyone at work is focussing on that.. then I throw in am pg.. and jaws drop! I am a 14 but still want a bump not bloat!

PooSweats84 · 30/04/2015 14:02

mrswishywashy I'm petrified about my scan tomorrow, had a previous mc in 2010 and with DD and DS I had HORRENDOUS morning sickness, this time I've had occasional on and off nausea and that's it, other than being starving all the time and the huge bump which I didn't have on previous occasions! I'm so scared they're going to tell me I've had a mmc which I try to tell myself is ridiculous but after a mc you're never quite as carefree!
