rolypolybird84 · 15/06/2015 19:36

Thanks chook and anything! Fingers crossed then.

Are there any more pregnant ladies left here? Back of the bus is quite lonely Grin

I'm off to lurk on the July board where I feel ahead!!! Grin

Tryingreallyhard84 · 15/06/2015 20:04

I'm still very much pregnant Roly. Envy I'm 39+2 so still being a little impatient I suppose. I can't bounce on that ball anymore than I am. Shock

Hubs is stressed at work and is virtually willing this baby to come out so he can stress about something different.

Congratulations Excited! Glad to see another healthy squidge born. Grin

GinFizz15 · 15/06/2015 21:26

Pregnant and feeling it roly - 40 + 7 now!!! I'm bouncing as I type too trying. So bored of it now. Even cleaned the fridge today, ironed, did some yoga all in the hope being vertical rather than horizontal would help get things going. Nada.

jazzyjenbo · 15/06/2015 21:53

Congratulations excited x x

Bounce ladies!!! Surely it does something!!! Grin

sunbathing this is a really stupid question but does that mean you didn't produce any milk until then? I never get what people mean by milk "coming in" does that mean no milk before that? I even went to the breastfeeding class so feel I should have a better understanding of this...

AnythingNotEverything · 15/06/2015 23:15

Roly until your milk comes in you have colostrum- rich sugary milk full of magical antibodies. Baby only needs tiny amounts (literally a millilitre or two) to satisfy a tiny tummy. They feed and feed and feed to bring your milk in (and set up your supply), which happens on day 3/4, and is accompanied by a huge hormone crash and lots of "what the fuck have I done" worries. From this point you have what you would recognise as milk- it's thinner and looks like milk (but yellower). You also have rocks for boobs for a day or two Smile

I'm still pregnant.
Was given 2x dates, one from an early scan, one from 12wk, so I'm either 8 days or 4days over depending how you look at it. Midwives/docs using later date.
I'm so so disgusted with myself. I can barley open my eyes they're so swollen, my feet are swollen, I can't even go into labour by myself. I've hated every second of this pregnancy, and looks like I still have another week. I then assume I'll have a lovely failed induction and emcs. Or perhaps an instrumental delivery where I tear even worse than past 2 times.
Not having a good day.

Jenbird5891 · 16/06/2015 08:29

I'm still here! 36+5 with twins. Never thought I'd make it this far with all the scare stories of very premature babies. Now booked in for induction at 38 weeks if nothing happens before and u don't think it's going to as I have absolutely no signs of anything apart from being absolutely shattered from doing nothing. Really pleased they've stayed put til now but really want them out now. I am so huge most my clothes don't fit and I can't justify buying more at such late stage. Also very uncomfortable especially as weather gets warmer I just feel my body is under so much strain I just want to get through next few days and then get them out but am worried about induction and also know there's a backlog at hospital and induction may not even work. Just concerned for their safety as beyond 38 weeks starts getting risky!

Usernamesarehard · 16/06/2015 08:36

jenbird hope all goes well with your induction- I was about to say "not long to go" then realised how stupid I sound as I won't take my own advice! V tempted to stay in and watch Netflix today. Stomping round the park, sex, pineapple, sweep have all done shit all.
I totally agree this weather is hideous for pregnancy. And I can only imagine the feeling doubled, with Twins!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 16/06/2015 22:42

Baby boy safely delivered at 11.28am today Smile 7lb 11oz, long seeming 1st stage (only 13 hours in reality... Unless you count the days and days of precursors!!) and then went from 4-10cm in an hour and was pushing before mw arrived in the room to introduce herself!! No stitches, and only g&a to push with. Crazy!

comeagainforbigfudge · 17/06/2015 12:48

Congrats on all those who've had their baby.

I've completely lost track now. But think we starting to get the hang of this feeding/pooping/weeing/winding machine.

Our little boy was born yesterday, 7lb 15oz. Not sure whether it was the sweep, reflexology or the fact that he was already 9 days late but after a quick 4 hour labour he was definitely ready to meet us.

Thanks for new thread come and congratulations on your little one. I'm already looking forward to some fizz!

Usernamesarehard · 18/06/2015 12:00
