Congratulations chook, she's adorable! Enjoy every moment!

I don't know how I missed 4 babies born in June on this thread... I think I don't see all the messages Sad

In any case, congratulations to the first 4 June babies too!

comeagainforbigfudge · 06/06/2015 10:03

chook that's a great story. Of only all could be like that!

zah I must have missed them as well

Well ladies. The OH has stopped with the d&v at some point last night. And so far I've been fine. Even slept through the whole night without a single pee break!! Fingers crossed I escape it. As much as I'd love my own wee room, I wouldn't want d&v Confused

Anyone being induced today? I'm losing complete track now!

OP posts:
jazzyjenbo · 06/06/2015 11:02

I dont think theres any inductions.. 2 girls edd today. I think next week will b the start of another boom as this week has been quiet.

cuphat · 06/06/2015 11:02

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 06/06/2015 14:24

AnythingNotEverything · 06/06/2015 17:21

Co graduations Chook! I'm sure she's worth the wait Smile

Tryingreallyhard84 · 06/06/2015 17:37

Chook - I've been on a course today so have been unable to check in until now. Congratulations on your little girl. Seems a quick birth, particularly your second stage. Thanks Hope the bleeding slows and you get loads of cuddles. X

Chookford · 06/06/2015 18:19

Thanks ladies... Mabel was def worth the wait she is just scrummy! Thanks trying bleeding is slowing right down so feel a bit better today and I am indeed getting Lots of lovely cuddles Grin

Tryingreallyhard84 · 07/06/2015 08:00

Well, I had a crampy, achey night last night. No doubt just braxton hicks. As a ftm, braxton hicks are nature's cruel joke. Envy In fact, even if you're not a ftm!

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 07/06/2015 20:48

Trying, you're so right that they're just nature's cruel trick!! Last time mine were just uncomfortable and "obviously" braxtons until after I had my first sweep at 40+7. This time they've been really painful for ages and I am so fed up with the "is it/isn't it" game HmmHmm

Chookford · 08/06/2015 07:45

pas I had that for the 12 days I went over, it was such a pain in the arse I do feel for you! Hopefully it won't be too much longer before baby shows up!

comeagainforbigfudge · 08/06/2015 09:00

Well scan went fine. No concerns with placenta/fluid but the Dr decided that probably best to induce me. She did give me the choice to let things take natural course but as im totally over it, I chose to induce. Going in on wed afternoon.

eeeek!!

zahaziland · 09/06/2015 08:22

Good morning All,
I had a check-up / scan yesterday: all is looking fine, but doctor said that my cervix is still quite long and closed, so it doesn't look like baby is imminent. Not surprising really as I haven't had contractions or anything really. I am still "only" just 38+5, so I guess I just have to be patient.
I will go back to the maternity next week for a monitoring session. If I still haven't given birth by the following week, I will be induced.

Where are all the babies? We had a flurry a few days ago, but now it's gone quiet.

comeagain: I hope all goes well tomorrow. Keep us posted.

comeagainforbigfudge · 09/06/2015 09:52

Thanks zah I will. Hope yours decides to put in an appearance soon!

I was also thinking it had gone awfae quiet. Wonder if everyone off having their babies and whether it'll just be us two on a post natal board... Grin

I'm still here too. Zahazi - I'm a couple of days behind you with a mw appointment on Friday. The health visitor is coming round on Thurs to introduce herself so I'm trying my best to tidy up. Although, it's day 2 of tidying in the TRH house and it's looking less like the bomb site it usually is, although that could just be because I've moved all the crap into a pile or various piles. Grin

On the fb group we've had a good 3 or 4 born in the last couple of days.

Comeagain - hope it goes well tomorrow!

Having a sit down before I embark on cleaning the floor and baking brownies. Really fancy brownies. Biscuit Brew

zahaziland · 09/06/2015 11:35

Ooh trying you just gave me a good idea: baking brownies. I'll do that this afternoon Grin

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 09/06/2015 13:37

I'm still here Smile officially overdue now Confused

Have a sweep booked for tomorrow so hopefully everything in the nether regions will be "favourable". It did look for a while as though I could surprise everyone (no one more than me!!) with a due date baby, but after a night of contractions and so on it all died off at around 5am yesterday. Very frustrating!!

Well, floor has been cleaned which then led to cleaning the cooker filters and cleaning the shelves (you know "those" shelves, we've all got them. A place where old owners mail and tissue packets with one tissue left , single gloves, etc all go to die). Brownies next. Grin

I'm hoping all this activity will inspire baby to make a move tomorrow after I've had my toes painted mind you.
