Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Hi Looking!!

Ewuakua · 29/04/2015 20:48

Congrats looking

pud not quite healthy and wholemeal, but have you tried dairylee dunkers? They've fixed me a few times already :)

DulcetMoans · 29/04/2015 20:56

Congrats looking, positive vibes to you!

I had berries and nuts at my desk pud. Is that possible?

Crutches and tears tee, that will work!

I read it as DH as well splodge!

Cat just jumped up for love with a shitty bum. Got it on my leggings and my hand. Confused She's not in my good books! (Although I'm soft and more worried she's got a poorly tummy!)

ChatEnOeuf · 29/04/2015 20:56

Hi Kitten Looking! Join in the chat :)

Tee I'm with you missing the NSAIDs. Managed with only one-off dihydrocodeines so far, but I'm now at the stage where standing up and the first few steps after standing are hurting.

DH is pretty good with his parents, but does see breaking news as some kind of contest - like he has to save up until he has enough to tell them before calling.

Exciting babies on the move, in all senses of the word :)

Hobbit19 · 29/04/2015 21:06

Berries and nuts are definitely in, thanks Dulcet. Think I might make some kind of gingery fruit cake at the weekend and more savory ginger nuts, the tesco value ones are so sweet!! To be fair the one thing that stopped the vom today was doritos and nasty supermarket sour cream dip. SO bad but soooooo good!! Also, have not been able to even look at chocolate for the last month. WTactualF?!?

gaggiagirl · 29/04/2015 21:44

Congrats looking you have graduated!

dulcet over on the undergrads jelly has a cat with a runny tummy too, is it the heat or something? I'm not a cat person so I dont know.
I do know that if turkeys get the runs that you have to kill 'em! Awwww do you all remember my turkeys? We had the last one for Easter dinner. It wasn't the best like.

DulcetMoans · 29/04/2015 22:08

I went off chocolate completely pud, for a couple months too. Eating more than ever before now though! Found a Ferraro Roche in my drawer at work today that I took at Christmas when I was hiding being pregnant but couldn't eat it.

Will check out the other thread for cat news then gaggia. Don't know if the heat can do it but don't think she needs putting down! (one of them did steal a pepperami off the table this evening though so maybe they do need putting down! Oh, I think I solved it...) She took herself to bed so hopefully better tomorrow.

Jcandy · 29/04/2015 22:55

I'm off chocolate too pud! It's so strange I normally have some every day! But only wanting savoury. Par baked rolls fresh out the oven with butter on is doing it for me though not at all healthy!

Welcome looking!

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 23:19

Welcome looking! Congratulations Grin

Hope you're ok mini - puuuuuush waves Pom poems with aplomb

Gaggia - rip Turkey! But at least it tasted tasty...Is the cunthawk next for the chop?

Splodge fx its your turn soon!

I had so much fun at fit mummy tonight. It's loads of fun

Sorry to those of you feeling rotten - chat you particularly sound fed up Flowers

deeplybaffled · 29/04/2015 23:40

mini- hope all is going well! Pom poms poised....
looking - welcome :)
on a separate note, can any of you viroids advise re bras? I went to get measured at john lewis about 3 weeks ago, and was told i was now a 36e, not a 36b. So dutifully bought 2 non-underwired 36es, and they feel like they are cutting off my ability to breathe. Have bought some supermarket cheapies in 38c today, which feel more oxygen friendly.
Is it normal to go up a back size rather than several cup sizes? Was initially happy to go with JL expertise, but now pretty confused!

Toast85 · 29/04/2015 23:49

Welcome and congrats Looking! I was an undergrads kitten too ????

Yay mini! Hoping to hear minimini news tomorrow! Hmmm.. Wonder if anyone is going to synch their labour with Princess Kate? who are our current contenders?

I've discovered that 2nd trimester actually does feel sooooo much better than the first! Hoo-blinkin-Ray and about time too!

Toast85 · 30/04/2015 00:19

Deeply I bought new bras about 2 weeks ago, didn't get measured just tried on several sizes of non-wired bras and decided to go with 36a- just one back size up from my usual 34a. Tried larger cup sizes but these were still too roomy at the time, and found the extra back size had a bit more space in the cups too, anyway. Ribcage expands during pregnancy to allow increased oxygen into the lungs with each breath.

WilHarlot · 30/04/2015 00:34

Hi Looking congrats!

I think take a range of sizes into dressing room and just go for whatever fits best. I don't find sizes standard anymore.

I appear to have swallowed a packet of razor blades if my throat is anything to go by Sad .

PixieChops · 30/04/2015 02:34

Thanks everyone! Just been catching up, no idea on what kind of wedding to go for but reckon it'll be an abroad one. In which case I'll need two anyway as I'm a pagan we have hand fastings.
Definitely will be waiting a couple of years, there's no way we have the money to get married yet. Feels weird being someone's fiancé, never been engaged before.
Had to take my ring to be resized, won't get it back for 2 weeks! However found out it's platinum and diamond! It's lovely, OH got it from an auction and it's worth a lot of money but he assures me he didn't pay a lot for it (which is good as even though I love the ring id hate for it to be our rent/bills money sitting on my finger!
Managed to sell my pram yesterday and got a good price for it, £550! So managed to put that towards a new one- getting the icandy peach 3 in blue/black, it's a really lovely pram, has excellent reviews and can go from being a single to a double, so don't need to push round a double until new baby is here.
Only problem is is that it doesn't arrive until Friday morning so can't really go anyway with DD and OH tomorrow.
OH is self employed and taking the day off today (bit risky as he wont get paid for being off!) but it's for a good cause, I have a hospital appointment first thing to discuss possible planned c section. If I cry do you think they'll be more likely to give me one? There's no way I'm going through what I went through with DD! It's sun roof or nothing!
Hope to hear of minimini soon! And wishing you a calm and easy labour! Xx

PixieChops · 30/04/2015 02:41

Toast 2ndtrimester is lovely.. 3rd trimester is a bit hit and miss. Some days I feel fine and then others it's like I'm back in 1st trimester again!
Deeply I struggle with bras too, I'm really small in the back and usually a 32DD with last pregnancy I was apparently a 36E but that didn't feel comfortable. I'm currently wearing 34DD as I've found its my back that's got a bit bigger and there's a bit extra room in the cups. The 36E ones I had with DD looked like hammocks or sling shots, they were awful, my head fitted in them. Even DP was like "wahey" and put it on his head for a bit.
DD is full of snot (sorry can't remember who asked how she was getting on!) and can't stop sneezing. She's gone back to waking up all the time and not being able to sleep because she can't breathe as her nose is bunged up. Trying all sorts at the moment but what I really want to use is a decongestant but can't as they don't make them for kids under 12 anymore. So stuck with a very snotty child, worst thing is we are all coming down with it now. Twice I've been up until 3am trying to get DD to sleep in her own cot but she's not having any of it. DP is now in bed with her in her room. I feel bad because I'm awake but hopefully won't be for much longer.

LaLaLaaaa · 30/04/2015 03:19

Deeply I would ditch the underwire your boobs are expanding and need space for that. I'm surprised jl didn't tell you that. I've had to buy new bras twice so far and die for new lot again just now.

My mate just had a baby boy - she just messaged me from hospital. She's had a very difficult 3rd trimester with contractions since 31 weeks. Managed to keep him in until 39 weeks. She's tiny and baby was 9lb.

Who's doing new thread? I'll catch up properly in morning. Feet are dancing away

LaLaLaaaa · 30/04/2015 03:24

Pixie I think just stick to your guns - my bf also had traumatic first birth and was terrified they wouldn't give her cs with 2nd. She got it though. Lovely news about ring and pram :)

I've gone from 32d to 36f so far. Think I've grown again though.

Pis was her poor lamb. Can you try taking her in steamy bathroom?

LaLaLaaaa · 30/04/2015 03:24

Bless not was!

WilHarlot · 30/04/2015 07:02

I say cry Pixie. Especially if it's a male doctor I'm so sexist.

Have you tried a Karvol plug in for your DD? I find them really strong - might just be because the kids' bedrooms are small - so only keep them on for a while. Or you could get one of those suckers and suck the snot out boak.

Have been awake since 5.15 but still feel like it's a victory as had a four hour stretch of sleep. I think my body has forgotten how to sleep.

Purpleball · 30/04/2015 07:40

Deeply I got some strap extenders from Amazon as the cups are fine but expanding ribcage makes them tight. I'm still in underwires though, I'm holding off as long as I can. I have others but they give me a crap shape.

Pixie hurray for engagement rings and pram selling. Boo to ill child. Hope she's better soon

Dulcet I felt a bit sick at your cat poo incident!

I went to Lazy Daisy last night. I don't think it's for me. The birthing stuff isn't relevant as I'm not going to be able to wait til I go into labour which made me sad. The relaxation and breathing will help though but I struggled with the positions. I've never done an exercise class and sitting on a floor definitely isn't my thing. I was too busy being uncomfortable to do some of the movements.
I had a chat at the end with her, she said she could do me some private relaxation classes tailored to what I need. But I need to meet people too. I can't go for the next 4 weeks anyway so I need to think about what I want and do it in July once I stop travelling the country.
There's baby natal in the next town that has been recommended so I might give that a go instead.

Purpleball · 30/04/2015 07:42

Welcome and congratulations Looking Smile

Wil, hurray for sleep, Gx is the way forward now Smile

Min. Hope you're ok, let us know if you can

LaLaLaaaa · 30/04/2015 07:53

Purple I think definitely find something you're comfortable with otherwise you'll not enjoy it and hate going. Any antenatal yoga or fitness in your area? I love the girls I've met through my fitness class they are on my wavelength we talk a lot about farting, boob leakage and peeing yourself.

Mini I do hope you're enjoying some newborn snuggles by now Grin

New Fred someone?

PixieChops · 30/04/2015 08:02

Yes Min try and let us know what's going on!
Congrats and welcome to Looking!

Never tried one of those plug in thingies but may be an idea. I took DD off DP at 5am and brought her upstairs with me to try and get her to sleep as shed cried for about 4 hours on and off and he was exhausted... She fell asleep within 30 seconds of me snuggling her and is still asleep now. Feel very mean on DP but I didn't realise that she'd do that, obviously wanted her mummy because she's ill. I've had another 3 hours sleep but still only had about 5 tops all night so absolutely shattered.

I think I'll cry regardless this morning anyway La I can't cope with too little sleep. Think it's a woman Dr I'm seeing. I was hoping for a man! Haha! Even DP said dammit when I told him that it was a lady consultant.

Don't know how we are going to cope this morning with a poorly DD and no push chair when we go to the hospital Confused I'm glad the pram has gone but my god the other one best be here tomorrow morning or I will be crying!
Why is it as well when you put something up for sale (pram) and nobody takes any real interest and you get one person, you sell it and then wake up to a million messages asking if I've still got it because it's not on eBay anymore and they want to buy it. No I don't bloody have it, if you wanted it you should've been quicker. Managed to do a private deal as well so got the full price I wanted and didn't have to pay fees. Bonus!

DulcetMoans · 30/04/2015 08:11

Sorry about vomit inducing purple! All sorted now and see it as baby practice anyway - get covered in all sorts then!

Good luck with the hospital today pixie. Always give tears a go if it's not going well, but sure you have a good case without.

I have not got the hang of the bras deeply but you could need measuring again already. All I know is mine don't fit and I haven't been measured - not the best tactic!

Glad you are starting to feel the glow toast! You might need to share it around here though, it seems to have skipped some of us.

30 weeks today, into he 30s - crazy! Off to get anti D this morning. Anyone know if it hurts for the rest of the day?

ZylaB · 30/04/2015 08:27

pud physics is my specialism! Though I was teaching maths before I had the baby.. (Very late reply I know but we lost t'internet for a bit!!)
