Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

dulcet - hope all well and it was nothing to worry about?

deeplybaffled · 28/04/2015 23:30

Oops, sorry - teach me to rtft before posting! Glad all well.

WilHarlot · 29/04/2015 00:35

Good news Dulcet but keep an eye on it if you don't really feel it happened whilst you were there. I guess maybe that answers your cm question Tee. I can't remember if I had lots near the end or not.

Still feel shit but have had a couple of hours sleep so that's good.

PixieChops · 29/04/2015 02:15

Just let your dentist know if you're pregnant, I had antibiotics when pregnant with DD for asthma (amoxicillin) and I was fine!
Sorry not been on much, got back from my weekend away doing mediumship and tarot at the weekend, so interesting and I loved it!
Also I have big news.....DP proposed yesterday afternoon! So sweet he had DD to hold the box, wasn't anything huge just in our home but it was lovely. I said yes of course!
I'm wide awake with DD in our bed, she won't stop sneezing, one of her eyes is weepy and she's literally been a snot fest all day! Can't make my mind up whether it's a cold or hay fever!
Hope everyone's ok! Welcome newbies and those about to graduate good luck!

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 02:31

Hoooooooray! Pixie that's lovely news congratulations!

Sorry to hear wee one is poorly :(

How are the poorly viroids chat and wil? Any better?
Dulcet I really don't think you've wasted anyone's time really glad you went and that its ok. Keep an eye on it though.

My app told me cm increases in last 10 weeks so that would tie in with you tee. Mine is much less than it has been all the way through.

Dh is very happy- I'm meanwhile mentally lying on a beach in Sharm El sheik with the winnings (baby of course behaving perfectly in carry cot next to me).

Really need to sleep but restless legs woke me up and I wanted to see if my Pom poms can come out yet...

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 02:33

Good bargain purple! And I think antibiotics are fine lots of people get them for UTI etc in pg

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 03:05

I seriously need to stop looking at the pet threads. I jump on there now and then and end up giving advice to the usual suspects - folk who've either got an animal and haven't found out how to look after it, or who are considering an animal and quite obviously haven't a clue.

My usual advice - go and do some research! But I always end up writing information out for them too. Honestly I need to stop looking at those sections!

Jcandy · 29/04/2015 04:06

And awake! Urgh! What sort of time is this body!

La maybe you need to wean yourself off those threads though if you enjoy it and are helping others from being idiots then it might not be such a problem

Glad things turned out ok Dulcet but you were right to get it checked out. It's hard to know what's normal and what's not and you'd have kicked yourself if it had been the other way and you'd waited!

Congratulations pixie! Bet that was so sweet with dd holding the ring Smile it sounds lovely.

Car seat wise I'm still confused! It's the only thing I've looked at so far that I've had no idea what we're going to get. Thinking maybe along the lines of a combination seat though.

Good luck splodge! I've taken my brand new poms poms out of the box for you. They are green and sparkly and I'm looking forward to my first time of using them Grin

OK body now time to sleep!!!

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 04:27

Still awake here too waves

Yeah I need to not look at them you're right!

Car seats - bleurgh! Save for a day when you're very bored Grin

Jcandy · 29/04/2015 04:46

Hi la waves

I have a bad habit of obsessing over stuff that I can't make a decision on so I woke up dreaming of car seats Confused

7 weeks today Smile and feeling rubbish which is great! Do think I might have to go and grab some food though or I can see me hugging the toilet bowl if I leave it any longer.........

Hobbit19 · 29/04/2015 06:58

Yey, congratulations Pixie, that is lovely news!

JCandy, Urgh sorry to hear you feel so nasty (but it is a good sign of course) I'm not at the actual vomming stage but queasyness is steadily getting worse. Nibbling dry crackers helps. I'm having to do that while I teach on a morning at the mo, feel like it is SO obvious that I am pregnant, kids seem clueless though. Feel better soon. I am 6 weeks today, so a week behind you, size of a pea!Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 07:02

Yay for sickness! Keep a tub of ginger biscuits or crackers by your bed and nibble before you get up

Fleurchamp · 29/04/2015 07:04

Congrats pixie Smile

I typed a long post last night but the internet ate it Sad

Hope all the poorly ladies are feeling better wil and chat

Glad you got checked out dulcet

Thanks for the car seat info purple

I have been told I am mildly anaemic and prescribed iron tablets. I have read about the side effects and I am reluctant to take them. Am I being bad or can I try taking spatone instead?

My reading was 10.7 (107).

DH is prescribing spinach Hmm

I am having a rubbish week at work too, can it be the weekend now, please?

DulcetMoans · 29/04/2015 07:29

I know you are all right, I would have told any of you to go. DH has already told me I focused on the wrong thing - should be worried if things are ok, not wasting time. Going to push it out of my brain!

Me and you with damp pants for the rest of the time then tee!

Congrats pixie! What a lovely surprise for you! Will you be making plans soon or just leaving it a while while you bake baby?

Get some bedside snacks prepared JC, it will help. Annoying thing is you don't really feel like eating but you need to force yourself really.

It must be annoying for you la but at least you are helping those pets that might have had poor treatment otherwise.

I have no meetings today and motivation to go to week is at an all time low!

Purpleball · 29/04/2015 07:32

Yuck to anaemia Fleur, I'd try to avoid iron tablets as they bung you up if you can.

I haven't been for 2 days so it's oranges for me today

Dentist knows I'm pregnant and he won't prescribe anything unsafe. I know I can't have an X-ray. I'm just worried he'll want to pull the tooth Sad

La I know what you mean. I sometimes can't stop myself posting. I told the bloke who didn't want more kids and who thought his wife got pregnant deliberately that he should have taken responsibility for contraception and had the snip....stupid arse

Purpleball · 29/04/2015 07:34

Dulcet I've been using panty liners for weeks now.. I think La has too. The glamorous side of pregnancy Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 07:37

Fleur my mw advised Spatone as she said to avoid taking iron tabs if possible and my reading was only slightly low. She said to take with oj and avoid dairy for half hour after.

I don't know though if that's best idea for you as I don't know enough about iron levels.

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 07:38

2 pantyliners a day gal here!

LaLaLaaaa · 29/04/2015 07:41

Dulcet I read through all my pg info last night because I wanted to chuck out anything we no longer need (felt good to be able to chuck all the leaflets about screening tests, what to eat etc) as I'm nearly at the end Grin

It said after 28 weeks you must call if there are ANY worries at all eg movement, fluid etc. so no one is going to think you're silly

WilHarlot · 29/04/2015 07:55

Totally not silly Dulcet. You sound so like me.

They will give you antibiotics but only certain types. There are lots you can't have in pg. But then my dentist gave me x-rays whilst pg so...

You can get an iron liquid from holland & barretts which isn't as bad for constipation. Doesn't taste the best but it's bearable.

minimooo · 29/04/2015 08:17

Morning viroids!

Congrats pixie, lovely news! Have you had any thoughts about what type of wedding you'd like? Or when it might be?

Sorry to those feeling ill Flowers

I went for an acupuncture session last night to try to get things moving. Never had it before...It was..interesting. I'm terrible with needles generally but it wasn't too bad. It wasn't particularly relaxing but it has definitely done something because I've been awake since 3am with contractions, whohoo! They're only about every 10 mins so far, so a long way to go yet. Really hoping they don't tail off and stop. Will be so disheartening.
Just eaten a massive breakfast and now I'm going to have a doze because I'm tired from being up half the night.

How are you getting on splodge?

batfish · 29/04/2015 08:36

Can I ask a question of the 28 weeks plus ladies? At 28-30 weeks how would you have felt about a 7+ hour flight? Trying to arrange a hol for July and don't know if I'm being naive thinking it will be fine or if I should be looking shorter haul! This is assuming I could get a drs note and all is well etc - I know I can't rely on that though.

mountaingirl01 · 29/04/2015 08:41

pixie! That's so lovely, made me wel? up a bit silly hormones

purple you'll probably get amoxicillin, I doubt they will want to pull whilst your upduffed -risk of infection.

dulcet try the liquid iron that wil suggested, and I'm afraid dh is right, get the leafy veg in!

I'm almost jealous of you insomniacs.. I seem to be falling asleep all the time at the most inappropriate times, 14hours of sleep a day and I'm still knackered :(

I'm sitting in the car at work lol Chris Evans is playing guns and roses...

KatoPotato · 29/04/2015 08:55

Bat by 28 weeks most airlines will require a Drs note to fly. I was supposed to fly Glasgow-London at 30 weeks which is about 45mins and i couldn't face it. Not just the flight but all the faffing at either end!

gaggiagirl · 29/04/2015 09:04

mini puuuuuuuuuuuuush! Eek! A new baby today I think!
