Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

welcome ethel!!

tiny wee are the worst, esp when you are BUSTING to go in the night, heave out of bed, plonk down and then it's like a teaspoons worth.

WilHarlot · 25/04/2015 20:52

Hi Ethel and bye Towns! Hope all goes well.

I still get the wee thing now.

WilHarlot · 25/04/2015 20:53

TENS machine might send you into labour Splodge Grin .

Purpleball · 25/04/2015 22:15

Welcome Ethel.

Hope everything goes ok Towns

I'm weeing little and often these days. I'm also designated bloody driver all the sodding time too Hmm I know I shouldn't mind but DH snores much louder when he's had a drink that my sleep is worse than usual. It's a bit mean of me to tell him he can't drink though Hmm

We looked at more prams today and did some comparison, and we are still sticking with the pioneer Smile
Also had a go with slings and liked the baba sling. Then saw brother and SiL who said they have 3 and said no point buying one Smile

Baby nephew has silent reflux and is on gaviscon. He's a different baby now. No more screaming at feeds, and going rigid. He cooed and chuckled at me today and was just delightful. I'm so chuffed they've got him sorted out. It was really upsetting seeing him in pain Sad

I need a chiropodist. I can't deal with my yucky feet properly anymore and I'm making them worse. I keep getting ingrowing toenails which get sore and infected which is worse because of diabetes. I keep soaking them in salt water and covering in savlon but they bloody hurt and I hobbled all day today.

Sorry For the me me me post, hope you're all having lovely weekends Smile

DulcetMoans · 26/04/2015 06:06

Hi ethel, welcome!!

No overnight posts today?! Hope that means everyone got some sleep!

What will a chiropodist do for you then purple? I know they do feet but not exactly sure what!

How did you find the TENS machine splodge? Get anything going??

Made my early morning move to the sofa as I got too fidgety in bed and don't want to wake DH up! I miss sleep and lay ins.

splodge77 · 26/04/2015 08:20

Yes!! I slept through. A miracle. I didn't get round to testing tens in the end. Got too comfy watching Mad Men! Must do today. Me & DP are betting on thurs for arrival of mini-splodge. (Only coz there's stuff we want/need to do before then ha ha). Any movement with you mini moo?

splodge77 · 26/04/2015 08:23

Ooh sorry Dulcet, hadn't read your post properly & that looked like a mean brag about my sleep!! Sorry to hear you had a bad night. Hope you have a restful Sunday!

Purpleball · 26/04/2015 08:28

Dulcet I'm hoping they will get rid of the ingrowing sore yuckiness and cut my toenails so it doesn't happen again

DulcetMoans · 26/04/2015 08:41

Haha, no worries splodge. I don't begrudged others sleep! You need to get it where you can now, you will have your own sleep thief soon enough!

Doesn't sound like a job I would want purple! Hope you can get booked in soon though.

Where is everyone?!

Fleurchamp · 26/04/2015 08:53

Morning all!

I had a massively busy day yesterday and now
lounging in bed whilst DH cooks up a storm in the kitchen Grin

We were at a birthday party last night. I was going to drive but it was in Central London and the traffic was horrendous so we got the train there and a cab home - bliss! Wasn't home until 1am though, pleased I lasted that long.

purple I go to a chiropodist every 6 weeks. I have really awful feet, from years of running, hiking etc. she sorts out my toenails and hard skin. A gross job but my feet feel lovely afterwards.

She told me that ingrowing toenails are common in pregnancy as the extra weight pushes down on the toes and causes the cuticles to wrap around the nail.

Definitely go, you have to be careful with your tootsies as a diabetic.

Watching the marathon on TV. Every year I put in for the ballot and every year I get rejected (they no longer guarantee a place after 5 years) but thinking I might put in for next year as a way to get back in shape. Hmmm Hmm

Hobbit19 · 26/04/2015 09:05

Well pooing is just a whole new world of adventures once you are pregnant isn't it? Every time is a surprise. Blush bit like a kinder egg.

Pisghetti · 26/04/2015 09:11

Fleur I had two rejections 'logged' before Virgin decided they'd only honour those with three or more Sad I think I have six or seven now? Thought Sod's law would be on my side this year (and I'd defer to 2016) but nope. This will be my first year without doing a marathon in a little while. I did Edinburgh last year. Couldn't find my designated start point though and ended up running around in circles in a mad panic like a total muppet. Decided to cut my losses and start from the 'wrong' startline instead - although by then it was about twenty minutes after they'd set off so it was just me on my own confusing the hell out of the spectators. I went on to run a personal worst. I've decided I won't run another marathon until I get into London - it's set to get more difficult though. This year I've read they're leaving the ballot open for five days rather then closing after a specific number of entries. It will probably mean a lot more entries to get picked from.

Hope those babies start moving soon! Except miniChat - stay where you are indestructabean.

LaLaLaaaa · 26/04/2015 09:16

Morning viroids!

Fleur do you mean the form to get free prescriptions? I've had to go to dentist lots since being pg because my gums have gone soft - it's free with the exemption card. You will also need it for any prescriptions. It's saved me a fortune already and lasts until baby is 1.

Sorry to those with poor sleep and hooray to splodge for good sleep! I woke at my usual 5 but I'm trying not to look at phone because it makes it harder to fall asleep again.

Hip is hurty this morning, need to dig out pillows to set myself up like Physio recommended.

Congrats Ethel, you kitten you! Stick yourself on the stats sheet (link at top). You'll get lots of support here so ask anything you want!

Potential parking thread yesterday...I have 2 spaces that come with house in a private car park opposite my house. We every rarely use them, only when there's no room on street or if we have guests or tradespeople. Dh sometimes parks there when he finishes work as street is full at 3am.

I already get annoyed as the school run mums keep using our space to park in morning, as they can cut through car park to school. But I can't be arsed to say anything as I'm rarely there when they do it and I've left for work already. I only know where one of them is, I don't know which one is our 2nd one but we only have 1 car so that doesn't matter.

But last couple of days someone has been parking across our space horizontally. I figured it would be a one off so thought I'd just leave it. But them yesterday my mate came over in horse box and we didn't have anywhere to park it because my space was taken and street was full. So I put a note under wiper saying 'please don't park here it's our residents space. Thank you! Smile'

Just as I'd done it a guy came out of a house behind car park and over to car. So he blatantly lives there and knows that it's not his space, as he will have his own ones. I said to him about note and asked could he not park there. He was ok about it but didn't apologise and said 'well there are 2 spaces'. Yes I said and you're blocking ours, my dh is at work and might need it when he comes home at 3am. He then said ok I'll park in my neighbours space he doesn't use it. Um...why not park in your own???

He said he'd move it and I said thank you. So I texted dh and said 'make sure you park in our space tonight, some cheeky fucker thinks it's ok to keep parking there!' He's asleep so I don't know if he did yet...

How you doing mini? Don't regret not working with animals - it's lovely but pays nowt and I just get constantly told we are not doing enough! (Animal charity)

Mr La will always drink - it's his livelihood and passion, but he's much better than he was. He only gets drunk once a week now after work which is our agreed night and takes car the rest of the time. He was a massive stoner and drinker when I met him so he's come a long way. But I do need him to start keeping his promises! He did listen and said he'll try to be better.

Good luck towns! Nice to head everything's going well, I do hope you'll pop back and let us know once baby comes if possible.

I feel fine in myself with the pregnancy, it's just my hips that are sore and the rib pain at the end of the day. Ouchy.

My mil is a podiatrist purple she'd soon sort you out! Sounds sore - def get those fixed before you get more pregnant.

Pud - poo adventures, yes! Sometimes you can't, sometimes too much, it's like a lottery

LaLaLaaaa · 26/04/2015 09:22

Dh just told me the guy was still in our space when he got home!

WilHarlot · 26/04/2015 09:27

Totally have an image of you pooing out a kinder egg Pud.

Check all you super fit runners out. That's crap they have changed the rule about London. My dad ran it quite a few times. Always thought it would be nice to do but having done a half, I realise I don't have the stamina for it.

LaLaLaaaa · 26/04/2015 09:31

Have no running skills at all! I'd love to do marathon but having done a 10k I decided that was it for me!

DulcetMoans · 26/04/2015 09:38

There's a 10k and half in my city today as well so a bit sad I'm not running. Debating whether I could be fit enough for one in Sept nearby, if not maybe Dec. any ex-runners got back into it? How long did it take?

Car wars initiated la! He has chosen to go to battle over space and you can't back down now. A second note explaining you DH couldn't park after his shift thanks to him, even though you discussed.

There's an NCT sale nearby today. Went to one a few weeks ago and was pretty good, might try venture out.

At least you get a toy with a kinder egg pud. The only reward with pregnant poos is relief, if you're lucky!

Fleurchamp · 26/04/2015 09:42

The most I have run is a half marathon but I grew up virtually on the start line of the London marathon and have always wanted to do it. My dad ran it for years for a still birth charity. I was in the same position pis- missed out on the guaranteed place.

I would take a charity place but would struggle to raise the £2 - £3k sponsorship they require and it annoys me that most of that goes back to the marathon organisers.

I have walked several marathons and longer distances for charity (moonwalk, South Downs way, Caledonian challenge) and so I know I could walk it in about 6 hours if required.

I have visions of going for runs on mat. Leave whilst my mum looks after the baby and going back to work super fit. I reality I don't think this will happen....

Yes la it's the exemption form. I get private dentistry through DH's work healthcare policy and so didn't feel the need to change to a NHS dentist. It costs about £10 per month for both of us. I go every 3 months at the moment to the hygienist. But I should get the card for prescriptions.

teejayem · 26/04/2015 10:16

Check out you bouncy athletic lot! I can't run without it causing six levels of joint hell, but I do/did walk a fair bit. (More waddle now) although at the moment it seems once I get going I'm okay, it's when I stop I feel fucked. I quite fancy a swim today but not sure if I want to subject anyone else to enormous preggo belly in a bikini. Baby's bum is wedged really high like a hard lump and he seems v comfy that way. I however, am not.
Ah the poo lottery! It doesn't get any better... Sorry :( get some moist toilet tissues and quilted toilet roll. Makes it a little less unpleasant.
la I'd be out there in my dressing gown letting the fucker's tyres down. But I am v intolerant of parking shitness - we had someone park in front of the house all day yesterday and it made it almost impossible to get our car off the drive it was so tight. He/she almost ended up with a shitty note. But Mr tee wouldn't let me, instead I had to make do with shouting after the sodding conservative leafleters that I didn't want anymore propaganda put through my letterbox. Grin
After yesterday's nobbishness I'm getting eggs cumberbatch made for me by MrTee. He's clearly having attack of the guilts. Wink
Any chance of a nap later dulce to pay off the sleep debt??

LaLaLaaaa · 26/04/2015 10:24

One step ahead tee - was out there half an hour ago! Car has gone so I parked ours in our space and it's staying there now FOREVER! Problem is there are no lines or signs to show where spaces are and whose they are, so folk think it's fair game.

Fleur I think if you run for our charity then it all goes to the charity, so must be the same with some of the others? We have to pay for golden bond space and we provide all the merchandise etc like vest. I'll find out though as my mate is the organiser

LaLaLaaaa · 26/04/2015 10:34

I've just been laughing at the AIBU teenager thread! We have all of that to look forward to Grin

Some of the stories on there are hilarious! Pis does your ds ever act like Kevin the teenager?

teejayem · 26/04/2015 11:02

Maybe some well placed barbed wire la? Or, OR OR!! Cat poo deposits arranged in the place where he'd exit the vehicle. Squelch!

LaLaLaaaa · 26/04/2015 11:04

Can you do me a Jiffy bag just in case it's needed?

DulcetMoans · 26/04/2015 11:13

If you can make it semi-solid tee then it can be used to scrawl 'park somewhere else arsehole' on the windscreen. la you'll need some gloves!

There will be a nap I am sure tee. DH is very good at encouraging naps.

teejayem · 26/04/2015 11:44

Turd art. This is where I shall make my fortune.
