Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Lol to above Grin

dulcet I know that miracle stuff! You can buy a b&m version for 69p and I'm not joking I love it completely ocd about cleaning it's chlorine based so I have to wear super strong gloves (allergic to chlorine) but it even cleans our old fashioned metal bath even when mental cat has decided to kill something there and left blood stains

I think I have a uti grrr

teejayem · 24/04/2015 08:33

I'm in the GP waiting room half an hour before the bloody reception opens for walk ins and there are STILL six people in front of me Hmm. One smells terribly of piss. I'm whiling my air away with pelvic squeezes.
We tried some meditation recordings lasts night that Mr tee found, but I kept getting the giggles (over use of finger chimes) and then I was absolutely boiling under the duvet so had bum hanging out to try and keep cool. Attractive!
34 weeks today. Apparently tiny tee is butternut squash sized and is urinating a pint a day! So he's getting in on the piss action too.
Have foof wax later, am hoping I don't have a CM explosion while she's doing her hair ripping Shock

Fattycow · 24/04/2015 08:37

purple, thanks for copying those lists!
I don't think I will take a dressing gown. I don't fit into mine anyway at the moment and it is white. It will be summer, so the hospital is hot (like it isn't anyway). Earplugs aren't really necessary, as the maternity wards have small rooms over here. I think 3 ladies in a room is the max, but they are currently building an entire new wing. It is nearly finished, so if I go there, I will be on the new wing. And I think they only have private rooms!

List is good Fatty, though I would take a light cover-up or dressing gown - just in case you have to take the baby somewhere - PJs/nighties feel so odd wandering round a corridor! Might want to throw some nipple cream in as well. I really need to crack on with my packing and get the baby clothes out of the loft - I feel bizarrely chilled yet underprepared given I'm 31+w now.

Ga Shock Grin

Good to hear you have some answers and a plan, La. I too hate wasps, one of very few creatures I just can't see the point of.

Pixie - do it Grin

mountaingirl01 · 24/04/2015 09:30

Can't believe how quickly that has gone chat

LaLaLaaaa · 24/04/2015 09:39

If anyone is buying the angelcare ac401 monitor it is currently reduced from £99.99 to £73 on amazon

LaLaLaaaa · 24/04/2015 09:46

Boots have a baby event starting this coming wed.

Out of interest does anyone use a humidifier? It never occurred to me to need one but I've seen it listed on my sils shameless grabby list registry

I bought them a shark cuddler, it is so gorgeous look! it's in one of the smaller pics

LaLaLaaaa · 24/04/2015 09:47

Ah you have to be on desktop site to see it not mobile

batfish · 24/04/2015 10:03

Wow chat I can't believe you're 31 weeks! Doesn't seem like 2 mins since your BFP!

So these pelvic floor things - I am 16 weeks so when do I need to start (I imagine you're going to say about 2 months ago) and what do I do?

It's my weekend and I'm stuck in an all day accounts class Sad Although the good news is that as it's holy day I am currently enjoying an hour and a half lunch break! Made a v sensible. choice of salad covered in dressing- at pizza express.

splodge77 · 24/04/2015 10:05

Thanks for fox advice. Yes Dp is gonna get some metal mesh for the gate. We don't put out food for anything so dunno quite why they love our garden - they're always digging holes in the lawn. Grrr. DP has been trying to reseed some of it so maybe the fertiliser stuff attracted them. Could do without the toy destruction - we once found a headless toy monkey in middle of the lawn - like some kind of warning from the fox mafia!!
I hate snoring, I would totally wee on DPs head to shut him up!! Well jell of new mat ward with private rooms. Other noisy patients drove me to despair when I was stuck in post-natal ward with DS for a week. I'll be taking earplugs, white noise app, hypno-sleep tracks on me ipod & if none if them send me off, a hip flask of gin heh heh

splodge77 · 24/04/2015 10:09

Ps: do pelvic floor exercises now!! & don't stop!! Seriously, you don't wanna end up like me - mrs prolapse. It ain't nice. The Squeezy app from nhs is good - recommended by my physio. you can set reminders throughout day & it guides you through both long & short exercises.

LaLaLaaaa · 24/04/2015 10:12

Bat - start now Smile

Squeeze as if you're trying to stop a wee mid flow or a fart. Then pull up a bit more. Do that 10 times a few times a day

Still in bed...

DulcetMoans · 24/04/2015 11:03

You are meant to mix it up as well bat so sets of 10 like la said and then holding them for 10 seconds. It is like holding in a week but midwife told me not to do it when having a wee as it can cause UTIs.

You in yet tee? A doctors waiting room is never a savoury place to be. All those ill people!

I need a trip to B&M then mountain!

First lot of bloods done, drunk my horrible bitter sugary drink and now waiting for second lot of bloods. I'm hungryyyyy! Burgers for lunch though to make up for it.

Fattycow · 24/04/2015 11:09

I'm 30 weeks today. Where have the weeks gone? Shock

Also, I need a piss. Again! I'm very tempted to go and buy incontinence pants by now!
Seriously though, I will buy a few. I got a tip somewhere (I think it was here), to buy them for after birth. They stay in place (especially useful during the night), feel a lot dryer and are nicer to wear than those huge pads. I figure it can't hurt to try!

mountaingirl01 · 24/04/2015 11:36

Hmm looks like I'm going to have to have a glucose tolerance test :( why can't my body do anything right?!

Purpleball · 24/04/2015 12:55

La thanks for the pelvic exercise tip

Mountain that sucks. Hope it's okay

I'm 200 miles from home with an arsy customer Hmm

But in now doing pelvic floor

La that's the one I want. My brother has it too. They used it til my niece was 1 as she kept getting up!

DulcetMoans · 24/04/2015 13:06

We must have a little flurry of babies at the end of June/into July then cos I am 29 weeks and la only 5 days behind I think!

Sorry to hear that mountain. That might be the same as I have had this morning. Is it to check for gestational diabetes?

Will you be home tonight at least purple?

Fattycow · 24/04/2015 13:09

dulcet, we can go for one big babyboom! I think July 2nd is a full moon, so perhaps we will all go into labour then?

OP posts:
Fleurchamp · 24/04/2015 13:44

I hope not fatty my official EDD is 20th July!

Ugh. The worst couple of days at work. I have had to pop home for half an hour to let the builders out (yes, they have finally finished!) and a client was just walking in as I was leaving. She didn't have an appointment with me but just thought she could rock up in her lunch break.

I told her I was going to get some lunch and would be back in half an hour. Apparently she has had a strop at our receptionist and is waiting for me. I am taking the full half an hour.

I wouldn't mind but she did the same thing on Wednesday Angry

Stupid people!

Jealous of your day off and lie in la

WilHarlot · 24/04/2015 14:01

Cheeky cow Fleur.

Ooh are you all having werewolf babies?

Having a crazy day after hardly any sleep so quaffing several kg of sugar to keep me going.

mountaingirl01 · 24/04/2015 14:56

Yup same thing dulcet if I have to give up orange juice I will cry!

Lemondrizzletwunt · 24/04/2015 15:14

Boo Mountain Sad

Don't worry about it, what will be will be, and it's much better diagnosed and treated than left unchecked. Still wankbadgers though.

dulcet how did yours go?

Looks like we're going to have a flurry of 4 births in three days at the end of June if you all stick to your baking instructions whoop!

Fleurchamp · 24/04/2015 18:04

Whoo hoo! It's the weekend and DH is due home in an hour after a week away. Missed him like mad Sad

Just about to drag myself off to the supermarket to make it look like I have been eating fruit and vegetables to get something nice for dinner. Rock and roll!

Happy weekend everyone!

DulcetMoans · 24/04/2015 18:06

Exactly what lemon said, better it is checked and discovered mountain and it's not that bad as a test.

Mine was ok thanks lemon but no results until next week. The drink was pretty horrid but not so bad that I couldn't swallow it. Then had big burgers for lunch. Now having to lay down!

JSer baby boom - yay! There is a chance ours could look like a werewolf - DH is very hairy!

DulcetMoans · 24/04/2015 18:08

Also, hoo-fucking-ray the builders are done fleur! You deserve a little celebration now!
