Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Oh Mr Lemon. No brownie points for you tonight.

Close your eyes for this bit Lemon as don't want to make the nausea worse. Took me half an hour to clean up a shit explosion (not mine) and now it's all I can smell, even though I've scrubbed my hands clean. Boak.

LaLaLaaaa · 20/04/2015 21:12

Oh lemon :( I remember that feeling and it's horrible!

Can you have a banana or ginger biscuit or a rice cake while you're waiting for him to cook? I used to find that helped a lot. Little and often and bland stuff.

Tee - that sounds awesome!

We want to run a restaurant/bar someday. DH also wants his own bar.

I love my day to day job but it's so draining that I don't know if I can keep it up forever. I love the guest lecturing I do so I'm thinking of trying to do some of that when I go back home.

We just want a nice life where we don't get aggro and get to raise our kids in a nice environment - think rural, ponies, dogs, cats etc. And I was brought up 400 miles from the rest of my family, so my mum wants to be around to see her grandchildren regularly, hence she's coming too.

deeply it's really hard not to get all worried about it, but I do completely believe in what everyone here was saying - we're doing a fantastic thing with our bodies and we really need to be given a break by people, particularly the bloody media. I just wobbled because I was worried about what people were posting on FAcebook, but I should know better and I've given myself a kick up the arse!

Just did a stats sheet for the JSers - they were hoping grads could add their stats so that people can see how long it took us to get upduffed, for inspiration. Would you all be willing to do that? Some of you are already on there.

Purpleball · 20/04/2015 21:15

Lemon I would go mental, fortunately DH only cooks pre-prepared food - chicken Kiev, frozen peas and frozen mash is his limit

Pregnancy does not make me rational, it makes me shout and cry at the slightest thing.

I'm still having random nausea and occasional vomiting. It's not often fortunately though

I took advantage of a night in a crap hotel to do some grooming, however I think I need to get my friend to paint my toenails in future. I've just contorted myself and they are a mess!

Tee I like your ideas. I can cook and bake but wouldn't have the balls to do anything with it

Lemondrizzletwunt · 20/04/2015 21:18

Haha La think you are editing it as I do! Wink

Lemondrizzletwunt · 20/04/2015 21:19

(K)FC update:

Have packed gingernuts and folic acid into a red spotted hanky on the end of a stick and have LTB.

Fattycow · 20/04/2015 21:27

la, I don't mind being on the stats sheet for the shaggers.

OP posts:
Fattycow · 20/04/2015 21:29

I will add my stats to the bottom, could you please put me wherever I should be on that sheet, la?

WilHarlot · 20/04/2015 21:38

I don't mind La but don't think my efforts would be that inspiring other than getting pg quickly after mc.

The minute I wrote the last post, she effing pooed again. I know I should write all the baby chat on the other thread but I think of it as preparing you for all the delights you have in store Grin .

Fattycow · 20/04/2015 21:42

wil, that made me resolve to collect a few corks so I can seal baby's bum! Just kidding, of course!

Evening all

Sorry you are having a crap time lemon I remember those days well! They will pass (and then come back again Angry).

DH is away for work, he left me a list of chores (buying door knobs tonight for the whole house - I need a second mortgage!!) which involved going to the retail park. There's a huge boots there so I thought I would take my vouchers and get my free changing bag. However, I just couldn't work out which nappies I needed to buy. The essentials pack, I saw carry pack, large pack, just a pack.... Even the assistant (who was about 12 and rolled her eyes as she clearly didn't want to leave the checkout where she was chatting to her friend) couldn't help me. WTF, thwarted by nappies already.

Got home and I had left the gas hob on for 2 hours. Sigh.

Love the sound of your business la my DH wants a juice bar/ book shop.

DulcetMoans · 20/04/2015 21:59

Ill do the stats for JSers. Can do it tomorrow.

If you get a cattery as a job la I think I would be too jealous to speak to you!

Thanks purple, it looks that way. tee sent me a link too which confirmed it. I do kinda get it but sucks when it's your cover. Anyway, worrying about something that hasn't happened yet!

Absolutely have the interim snacks at the ready lemon, eating does normally help. Not that it stops that situation being infuriating!

Surely that's all the poos for the evening now wil, right??

Stabbing pains on my insides viroids. Bit raw, like tiny knifes and is in lower womb type area. On and off all afternoon, doesn't seem linked to anything. Bit of heartburn too. Any ideas? Just another pregnancy delight?

ChatEnOeuf · 20/04/2015 22:02

Ah Wil thanks for the shit explosion reminders Grin

Lemon I remember the evening nausea so well - if I got too hungry I couldn't eat, so ended up snacking on crackers even quite close to dinner. Best days were when DH was away - I ate a little with DD, then had a sandwich or plain pasta after she had gone to bed. Much better than one large meal.

I've seen anaesthetics, Tee. Because of previous surgery, and DD was transverse at the time they wanted to know if an epidural/spinal would be possible. They looked at my old XRs, poked my back a bit and concluded that an experienced consultant, on a good day, probably had one shot. Luckily DD turned and zoomed out. I'm seeing an anaesthetist here too, and will probably have a similar if more stilted conversation. Don't think it will make an epidural more likely, they will do one if they can when you ask for one (physically, and if there's time, and if the anaesthetist is free). It can be in your birth plan for sure, but no-one on labour ward dares make promises!

I'll be returning to work as soon as I can once we're home. SAHM-ing isn't for me - I need the intellectual banter, and I value our time together more when it's not all day, every day.

La that sounds like an excellent business.

Could, hope all is well - looking forward to hearing about it!

couldntbebothered · 20/04/2015 22:06

ZylaB · 20/04/2015 22:14

I second wil's explosions! This morning she pissed on a sleep suit (she wets a nappy enough to change it, then releases the floodgates when you take it off to clean and change her), then I dressed her in clothes, shit explosion, cleaned and changed her, peed on clothes, cleaned and fresh clothes, another shit explosion. It's all fun here! Grin
