Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Bunts sounds like quite a pleasant insult actually.

On a new time schedule tonight. All discombobulated being awake at this time.

teejayem · 20/04/2015 04:34

Can't say I've tested it on uneven ground yet toast but it has big ol chunky wheels which seem really stable.. The foldy uppy/down thing is one button and a foot thing if I remember rightly, will check at a more reasonable hour so I don't wake up snoring Mr Tee. Think I scared him before bed last night; he was saying how much he likes Sundays like the one we'd just had and I said we only had a few more left on our own... Shock

Tonight's instalment of Tee: the digestion diaries- I have reflux. From something I ate about 12 hours ago. Hmm Anyone want to sit up and do some lines of gavo with me? I've got strawberry flavour!

WilHarlot · 20/04/2015 04:42

You can do them with the baby if you want Tee. Anything to stop the puking she's been doing lately.

Purpleball · 20/04/2015 06:30

Doh I forgot I'm a Which member! I checked out the pram and car seat and they got good ratings. Car seat is a Best Buy Smile
Looked at monitors and they were all old tests and not current products Hmm

If anyone wants me to look something up, I'm happy to Smile

Sleep seems to be getting worse, every night I wake up more times. Snorypants got a few shoves last night Hmm

La my phone autocorrect does the same

Tee hope the gaviscon works and you get some sleep

Purpleball · 20/04/2015 06:40

Pixie I think you could be right. Perhaps Moaning Bunt could go in the next fred title

WigglyBraddins · 20/04/2015 06:48

I love bunts. It will be my insult of choice this week.

PixieChops · 20/04/2015 07:09

Morning Viroids!
Suppose bunts may not be so offensive to the none-shaggers.
Purple funnily enough when I was pregnant with my DD I would wake during the night and took me ages to get back to sleep. Apparently it's your bodies way of preparing yourself for fun sleepless nights when the new baby is here so it's not such a shock to the system.trust me it's still a huge shock to the system lol!
Tee im with you on the gaviscon I have boring original flavour however the bottle I've got is absolutely massive, I'm constantly up doing shots of it during the night. No heartburn during the day, just when I want to sleep!
Also on the snory OH front is there a way to stop this without having to suffocate them because mine does it a lot, he's a big bugger as well and it's not as easy as just rolling him over onto his side!
My DD is trying to walk for definite now, she's taking 3 steps at a time. I know someone asked how old she is in. A previous comment and I forgot to reply, she's just 11 months. I do pine for the days when she just used to sit there and play with anything I passed her, now she's after wires, cups of hot tea, and anything else she can get her mitts on! Think she's going to be a shot putter as she exceptionally good at throwing and whatever she's holding usually gets launched through the air after she's had enough of looking at it.
Now I have to sit through a couple of hours of CBeebies as DD will start kicking off in a minute and launching stuff at the telly to try and get the pictures to come on. She also knows how to use the remote and regularly turns Jeremy Kyle on and claps along with the audience.
I get told she's a nutter by family, friends and complete strangers on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure she's going to have ADHD. Not that I'm bothered, I think she's fucking hilarious!

DulcetMoans · 20/04/2015 07:10

Bunts is good, let's keep it!

Strawberry gavisgon sounds move actually tee. I still remember having strawberry toothpaste as a kid, was great! Being a grown up sucks!

I might google and see if there is a pram comparison website somewhere to help me decide. I liked the colourful giggle too but think wasn't so keen.

Can't believe it's Monday again! Last Monday at work for you though kato! So close!

teejayem · 20/04/2015 07:15

Aw, I luff my giggle dulcet - as Mr Tee pointed out, I'm never going to lose it, it's very bright!
pixie I don't know how you can stomach the liquid gaviscon, the consistency alone makes me gag! I have to either scrunch up the tablets really small and swallow them in bits or break them into pieces and swallow them whole, they are rank!!

Having a croissant. Might have to have two, they run out of date today greedy bitch, never usually gives a shit about use by dates:)

LaLaLaaaa · 20/04/2015 07:33

Offensive thread lady is on our July group. I knew I recognised the name!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/04/2015 07:34

False alarm - no she's not. I read it wrongly

LaLaLaaaa · 20/04/2015 08:05

Aaaaaarrrrgh! I just need a little rant as I'm Confused

I wish people would be careful on pg boards or Facebook pages talking about weight put on during pg. throughout this pg people have put things on July fbk page like being worried they've put on 5lb, or yay I've not put any weight on. Someone the other day posted up the weight monitoring chart showing they were under what's expected for their no of weeks.

I've put on 2 stone. TWO STONE! And I'm only 28 weeks. I'm already over what's expected during pg for my bmi.

I've had problems with my weight all my life and I'm petrified about this weight gain. But I'm trying desperately to look at it sensibly - it's for good reason as I'm growing a baby, hopefully it's mostly baby/boobs/fluid, plus I was at my lowest weight when I got pg.

At work too the girl who's a week behind me has lost weight. Wtf!?!

So that's why all the 'you're huge' comments have been getting to me.

:(

teejayem · 20/04/2015 08:43

la throw the BMI thing away. Most of it is fluid! Your blood volume, placenta, amino fluid, all weigh loads more now than ore pregnant, (like over a kilo a piece) plus you've got a BABY in there, plus boob mass. Plus fat storage for BFing. It all adds up! It doesn't mean you're huge, you are absolutely not. We've seen the photo evidence. ;)
My weight gain has been completely inconsistent if I look at the 'here's what your supposed to gain' charts as well. I think they actually do more harm than good, my whole first trimester I piled it on, the. It plateaued, and now it's piling on again- I'm putting on about 800g a week (actually has been more of a kilo a week if I look at it since 30 weeks onwards). My tits and bump weigh a ton. Your metabolism totally changes when you are pregnant, so does the way you eat as well so a one size fits all approach doesn't work at all. - think about all the time you spent not eating because you felt so rank! And baby will just take whatever it needs straight from you indiscriminately so you need those fat reserves for your own well being. Ladies stealth boasting about being thankful for not putting weight on could well not be looking after themselves.

You are beautiful, and not just growing a fucking human, but you've had to grow and maintain an entire life support system to go with it. (Including a new and exciting organ!) - you can't make that shit out of nothing. Xxx

Lemondrizzletwunt · 20/04/2015 08:49

Hear, hear, Tee!

PixieChops · 20/04/2015 08:58

I'm with tee on this one! La fuck em you're gorgeous! X

honeysucklejasmine · 20/04/2015 09:01

delurks Tee did you get "pitter patter" print cosatto?

teejayem · 20/04/2015 09:05

I did honey ! It is the bollocks. :)

honeysucklejasmine · 20/04/2015 09:12

Well I shall appreciate your review in the future! Who knows what prints they'll have by the time I get preg but I know 100% I want one. They are so friggin awesome! And lightweight. I did a spreadsheet comparison thing then did a rank order analysis and it came out on top for my priorities

LaLaLaaaa · 20/04/2015 09:29

I do love the cosattos! They're gorgeous.

Thanks tee - I'm being sensible and not looking at those charts I promise! I only looked then because someone posted it on the Facebook page so it was right in front of me. I feel great and I love my bump!

It's just unnerving when you think you're dealing with it all ok and then people post stuff saying they've only put on so and so and you start to think about it.

Manning up now (womanning?)

I'm loving how positive people are being about us on that thread. Very few negatives and you can almost see the cats bum mouth of the negative ones Grin god can you imagine being like that!?! How dull!

8 more Mondays at work after today.

Kato have you started may leave yet?

Mini - how are you feeling? And you could and splodge? Isn't someone having a elcs this week?

PixieChops · 20/04/2015 09:56

I wish I was allowed to look at other prams but OH has his heart set on the Icandy now and nothing I say will change his mind. To be honest it's hard trying to find a nice double buggy that isn't hard to manoeuvre. Ive got a friend who has a bugaboo donkey and she struggles like mad with just! Absolute nightmare trying to get in any shops with it.oh for the days of a single pram, that will SIL. Be over for me :( im due in 10 weeks, 8 if I get my ELCS, I find out on the 30th April after my consultation. I'm under strict orders from OH to not cry and make a scene. To be honest I don't think I'll be bothering anyway as its a woman and they aren't very sympathetic. A man on the other hand would be much more easier to convince as Id just tell him to whip his wang out and let's pull a melon through it using some forceps. Very nervous about it though because if they say no I don't know what the hell I'm going to do, maybe just give myself a caesarean ? I'll literally have no pelvic floor left if I give birth naturally again. Has anyone else had to beg/plead for an ELCS? I need tips!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/04/2015 09:57

Just phoned hospital to get swab and urine results, as they told me to do. Firstly I got passed from pillar to post through diff maternity wards, having to explain each time why I was phoning.

Then she tells me my test results are inconclusive and can I call back later :(. But that there are skin cells in my urine apparently. So I'm still none the wiser. She can't tell me how much later to phone, just later.

batfish · 20/04/2015 10:12

la I weighed myself this morning and actually did a gasp - I've put on 12lb and I'm only 15-16 weeks Sad Apparently I was already fat before got pregnant (according to BMI) so guidelines say I should only gain 15-25 lbs, I'll be at the maximum in a month at this rate! Depressing hey! But in all the pics I've seen of you you look great - slim with a perfect bump - so try not to worry.

Fleurchamp · 20/04/2015 10:52

la I am finding the whole weight thing really hard.

I am usually pretty slim, nothing remarkable just normal I guess- but I have worked damn hard to obtain and keep my weight down. I am now a couple of lbs away from my heaviest. I hate the weight comments. Everyone tells me how big I am and it makes me self conscious. I am not being silly with food (I am trying to eat fruit not cake but I regularly lose that battle).
I know what you mean about the July bumps, I am way bigger than the majority. I can't even say my boobs have got much bigger

I also have a friend who is 20 weeks, not showing at all and says she hasn't put on any weight. I feel like a heffer next to her.

I must admit I am becoming a little obsessive over it - have been comparing bumps on Instagram (my guilty secret!!) and I know I need to stop Sad

DH threw my scales away.

Fleurchamp · 20/04/2015 11:01

Anyway, what I was trying to say is - if you are eating well then it doesn't matter what weight you put on- everyone is different.

Comparisons do nothing except mess with your mind.

Now to practice what I preach Grin

ZylaB · 20/04/2015 11:14

pixie have a look at th 2015 uppababy vista, it converts to a double on the same frame, we've got it as a single and it's lovely to manoeuvre :)
