Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

juggling wow near year baby!! How old is your dc1?

dojo I woke up needing a wee at 5 so wasted fmu by flushing it Sad then couldn't get back to sleep after dps 6am alarm for work.

dojo123 · 25/04/2015 07:47

Oh no mummy i wouldn't worry too much about the fmu. If you can hold off peeling for a few. Hours it should be strong enough to produce a good line.
Also woke in the middle of the night needing the loo. Than my DH kindly woke me just before 7 tapping on his phone as he couldn't sleep! Well neither can I now!!!

Welcome juggling this bus isn't as speedy as the mega bus but it bumbles along at a nice manageable pace. Congrats on the BFP.

Mummyofonesofar · 25/04/2015 07:53

I know, just wanted to do it before he went to work. Got a line at 5 yesterday after holding for less than 2 hours. Going to use my frer later when he gets home. Then off out swimming with DS. What are your plans?

Mummyofonesofar · 25/04/2015 08:08

Just been invited to wine tasting next month! Why wouldn't they have come last month!!

chopsface · 25/04/2015 08:57

Ha mummy it was my birthday the day if my bfp 2 weeks ago and my friends got me loads of wine as gifts!

dojo your gaff sounds amazing. Would love to be woken by cows and steam trains! (dad is a train spotter so grew up loving steam trains!)

chops it will be waiting when you pop! Or will DH drink it?

dojo123 · 25/04/2015 11:20

Sorry started this post about 2hrs ago....

mummy it's called blood Sod's law!!!
Fx for the FRER later. If you tested at 5 yesterday and there was a line there'll be one this afternoon.

Making DH his birthday cake this morning (his birthday was Wednesday but i didn't have time to make one) it's a rhubarb crumble cake.
This afternoon were off to the theatre and then having a relaxing evening as we're both having to work tomorrow.

dojo123 · 25/04/2015 11:24

chops we do love where we live and we find the cow alarm clock amusing (for now!) we only moved in a year ago. We are very lucky, the previous owners were keen gardeners. We have 2 apple trees, a victoria plum tree, conference pear tree, two rhubarb crowns, gooseberry bush and raspberry canes. From now until October we really don't need to buy any fresh fruit.

Mummyofonesofar · 25/04/2015 11:25

Aww lovely! Hope he has a nice post-birthday celebration! Yes I'm sure it will be fine later on. Then he can throw away the worlds worst boxers! We had an agreement that when we got a bfp I was allowed to throw them away!

chopsface · 25/04/2015 11:49

Awww nice, I've some rasberry bushes too. Got a great crop last year! There was a boy in my year called Robert Plum. My mum used to joke I should marry him and become Victoria Plum, Hmm hilarious

Just poa-digi 3+ weeks, wooo! Having a lie down, feel meh. The food shop took it out of me!

Mummyofonesofar · 25/04/2015 12:13

chops hahaha Victoria Plum!! sorry but your mum is pretty funny! I'm sort of looking forward to the tired/nauseated bit so I feel a bit more pregnant. Enjoy your lie down!

Mummyofonesofar · 25/04/2015 12:13

And woo for the 3+ test!!!!

chopsface · 25/04/2015 14:36

I did actually fancy Robert Plum but he didn't look twice at me!

Yes I do feel more preg when I feel ill but I'm very grumpy when I feel ill and just want to shout and people, my temper is very short too and I have no patience!

Mummyofonesofar · 25/04/2015 14:41

Sorry, I didn't mean to belittle your symptoms! I'm sure I won't be so glad of it when it's here!!

dojo123 · 26/04/2015 14:41

Sorry tmi post alert...

I think I have thrush. I spoke to 111 yesterday and they told me to get some canesten. I've picked up the Pessary and cream on their advice but have read that you should not to use the applicator for the pessary if you're pregnant. Have any of you got any advice on this? I think I might try an get a proper apt with the docs tomorrow. It's so frickin' itchy! Hmm

Apart from that I'm alright. Well apart from being in work sorting through my accounts for this quarter and getting on top of invoicing.

How is everyone else today?

toadierocks · 26/04/2015 17:43

ah crikey, thrush is horrible, poor you Sad if you're unsure about the pessary then don't use it, speak to a pharmacist tomorrow and they'll advise but in the meantime if you've got any live yogurt ( I know it sounds so wrong) but the good bacteria in it will fight the thrush and it will cool the itching down, for tonight at least. when in doubt reach for the yeo valley!

dojo123 · 26/04/2015 18:18

Thanks toadie I've got a pot in the fridge so I might just do that. Haven't suffered from it in around 15years but then I could take the tablet and it sorted it out immediately.

chopsface · 27/04/2015 08:21

Hope you feel better soon dojo!

OP posts:
Mummyofonesofar · 27/04/2015 10:24

dojo I hope you feel better soon, I suffer about 3 times a year and it is awful! I don't normally bother with the pessary anyway - just the tablet and cream combo - can you take that? I agree the pharmacist wil know x

dojo123 · 27/04/2015 13:55

Mummy You can't take the tablet when pg as it gets absorbed into your body and therefore can be passed on to the foetus. T
he pessary is meant to be ok as it's not absorbed but you can't use the applicator in case you insert to far and damage the cervix. The cream is only for outside so really if I want to nip this in the bud I should use the pessary but I'm still unsure of it.

It is just so uncomfortable and so much worse after I have been to the loo. I felt better this morning after using the yoghurt last night but it's during the day which is the issue.

Oh right I got it the wrong way round! I am glad the yoghurt is giving you some comfort but I hope you get to use something during the day!

chopsface · 27/04/2015 17:54

I'm worried about using anything at the moment! I have seriously grey hair as I'm worried about dye, I'm worried about my steroid eczema cream so I'm all itchy and flaky, and I'm worried about antihistamines and have an itchy throat! Really need to speak to a pharmacist.....

dojo123 · 28/04/2015 10:09

Well I decided to use the pessary last night as I was in so much discomfort and fed up. I must admit it seems to have done the job. Didn't use the applicator, just insterted it with my fingers as the NHS website advised. It still feels a little bit weird in the knicker dept but maybe I'm just thinking about it.

In other news. My sis who has been going through iVF had two blastocysts inserted yesterday so fx that she gets a positive result next Friday when she can test. Her Dr was very impressed that all 6 of the eggs that they fertilised transformed into blastocysts so she now has 4 being frozen should it not work or she wishes to try for a second.

dojo123 · 28/04/2015 10:11

chops unfortunately a pharmacist will only tell you to go and see your doctor. I was suffering from hay fever at the end of last week and thought I could pop into the pharmacy and they wouldn't serve me.
