Thank you haribo and with that is reassuring. I think I'll feeel a bit more at ease once I've had my booking in appt impatiently waiting for letter through the post

Got a birthday party / work night out on sat and obv won't be drinking. Have a feeling that they will guess I'm pregnant, will only be 7weeks so don't want people to know yet.

Rtfairy · 14/04/2015 20:51

Started bleeding earlier this evening so think it wasn't meant to be for me again this month, going to have a few months rest from ttc now as 2 mc back to back are taking their toll on my mental health.

Good luck everyone with the rest of your pregnancies.

I have symptoms already at 4 weeks! Not a good sign probably! I feel like I have flu and I'm lightheaded. Both my mum and my sister had horrific morning sickness with my sister being hospitalized twice with dd1. That is what I've been dreading as I have a vomiting phobia! And especially because I commute to work on public transport!

By the way, what is a BAP?

Hattie1983 · 14/04/2015 20:56

Hi there, I got my BFP yesterday with a edd of 18 December, the test said 2-3 weeks gone. Today I have had a splitting headache all day I have vomited this morning and just now. Is it too soon to have symptoms or is it just a coincidence ?

Swanners · 14/04/2015 20:57

Hello all,

I just found this thread and thought I'd join if that's ok? I got my BFP over the Easter weekend and am now 5 weeks 3 days. Due on the 12th Dec. This is baby number 1 after 6 months of ttc,

Congrats to all of you and I hope everyone is feeling well, x

shinysparklythings · 14/04/2015 21:00

rtfairy sorry to hear that, hope you have RL support. X x

with yup I will try, but they know I normally drink bulmers or wine. I might just drive and use that as an excuse. The problem is they know we are trying as I was looking at new jobs and there was a great one come up but decided not to as I didn't want to mess up maternity pay! Oh well, it's not the end of the world either way.

ineedsomeinspiration · 14/04/2015 21:04

Sorry to hear your news rtfairy. Hope you're snuggled on the sofa with tea, cuddles and chocolate.

Hello to all the new ladies.

chops I'm afraid I'm responsible for the BAPS I posted it by accident instead of BFPS and it's kinda stuck. We decided it stood for bloated, anxious, pregnant sistas.

megarobotdiscoparty · 14/04/2015 21:20

Turkey and cranberry BAPS no less!

Sorry to hear your news rtfairy, please take care Flowers

sparkly definitely on and off to begin with. I found it worse when dehydrated, hungry or tired. So rest up, and keep the fluid/energy levels topped up!

Terry I hope she surprises you and is pleased. My mum was so excited about DS but so far all she's done this time is question our financial arrangements and worry about it traumatising DS! It will all be good I promise, all worth it in the end. I am hoping the scans will make it more real...In the meantime daydreaming about baby names (and having a good reason to get DH to move his arse on finishing all the DIY he's started) is helping!

Hello to all the newbies!

Jodiesaurus · 14/04/2015 21:30

Sorry to hear that Rtfairy please take care of yourself. Hello to all the newbies!

HariboBrenshnio · 14/04/2015 21:34

Really sorry Rtfairy Hmm

Hattie - not too early for symtoms! Does sound like morning sickness ( which isn't always in the morning!). I found my symtoms last time got worse around the 8 week mark which I think is when the placenta takes over but lots before hand too.

toadierocks · 14/04/2015 21:35

So sorry to hear that RTfairy rest up lovely and take care Flowers

Sorry to hear your news rtfairy, life is shit sometimes.

Welcome to all the newbies!

I nearly told my boss today as we had a meeting about all these changes that will be happening over the next months, but then decided to wait until I've had an early scan at least.

goneswimming · 14/04/2015 22:27

I'm really struggling with this.... To be honest apart from the positive tests, I don't feel anything different about me, and I'm struggling to identify myself as pregnant. And on the other hand, the idea of losing it is just the worst thing ever. Does anyone else 'get' me on this?

BoobsTooBig · 14/04/2015 22:31

RTfairy I'm very sorry to hear hope you have lots of support and take good care of yourself I've been where you are and it's heartbreaking it will happen for you. Stay positive for the future xFlowers

I have to say I'm all over the place with feelings and hormones at the moment too. These first 12 weeks it all feels like a double edged sword on the one hand it's all you want but with that comes total fear for mc'ing especially if you have in the past and then your super excited about a baby be it first baby or second/third crossed with fear of I don't know what I'm doing for the first how will I cope with two for the second and no idea how third time moms feel as I'm not at that stage but I'm sure it's similar fears. But the one thing for sure is we already love these tiny little seeds and one day in December they will light up our hearts and it will be flooded with love xStar wishing us all healthy strong sticky beans Star x

BoobsTooBig · 14/04/2015 22:36

Totally get you goneswimming
Oh and then the paranoid movement tracking starts later on lol the joys of pregnancy hey!

goneswimming · 14/04/2015 22:43

Thanks Boobs! It's just so weird.... Ttc was so hard and this is meant to be awesome, but half the time I don't believe in it actually happening, and then the next minute I'm convinced that because I'm not feeling anything, that means it won't stick! Crazy lady alert! My poor husband doesn't know what to say for fear of saying the wrong thing!

dojo123 · 14/04/2015 22:44

rtfairy sorry to read your news. Look after yourself.

haquoi123 · 14/04/2015 22:50

boobs I completely get you. I only found out yesterday but today has been me worrying that I'm just going to lose it. My first baby, little boy, died at 19 weeks pregnancy, and I don't know how I'm going to get through each day with this one, let alone a week, I'm checking for bleeding every hour. 9 months doesn't seem to be on my radar... And this is the first day! Hopefully morning sickness will take my mind off things when it kicks in...

Flaminbird · 14/04/2015 23:03

Could I be added to the spreadsheet please :)

My details:
Flaminbird - age 38, dc1, EDD 14 Dec (first baby)

BoobsTooBig · 14/04/2015 23:17

haqui123 gosh I'm so sorry you suffered so late into your pregnancy. Devastating for you and you partner. It won't happen again it won't. Your Christmas wish will come true x

goneswimming
How long were you ttc for? I was just wondering if anyone would be Interested in a secret/private FB group? I am part of one from when I had my DS a year ago and we are a really close bunch even now supporting each other through our pregnancies during births even for some :) and then now with our toddlers. The great thing about it is photos advice support and little chance for internet trolls.

BoobsTooBig · 14/04/2015 23:25

I might be a bit early shall we wait until we are towards the end of May? Then it gives everyone a chance to be over 8/10 week mark at least.
