Hi ladies, can I join? 17 dpo and clearblue digital says 2-3 weeks. Conception has been hard for us as my husband has medical issues but crossing fingers for the next few weeks! He doesn't believe in it yet and says wait another week and re-test...Got doctors next Wednesday!

Ive had a bug here this week too, so I'm not sure what is what symptom wise.

I did another digital and it hasn't gone up a week, which is making me feel a bit stressy but I'm going to try and not be.

I think a birthday party around Christmas could be good, there could be a santa, and selection boxes for party bags!

toadierocks - not yet no, i wont know until my scan, I have mo idea when we conceived! came off pill im December, havent had a period simce and have somehow got pregnant! lol!

very roughly i think it is around 8th December, but i cud be completley wrong! haha!

Ahh so many lucky ladies all in one place :-) congrats to all the new baps! afloat i had a sim situation to you. Had IUD removed in Jan during AF, then next month was overdue and had symptoms but BFNs :-/ wasn't even really TTC the next month but BAM! Dr said that first month I might have had a bean that didn't stick (not in so many words!) but it looks like this one is so far! Sticky beans, sticky beans, let's hear it for sticky beans! Sorry, slightly hysterical.

Haven't had much of an apperite the last few days, only really eaten jacket potatoes with butter, but oh my goodness, i had the best toasted wrap for dinner tonight.
Warburtons rectangular wrap, marinated shredded chicken, grated carrot and red cabbage, houmous, red onion, mint + parsley, feta, avocado, mango + chilli dressing - finished off between the sandwich grill - YUM.

Ahhhhh apperite. New word.

Also must say that the heidi klum (formerly elle macpherson) intimates nursing bra is sooo comfy to sleep in - surprisingly.

Don't think I'd actually be able to wear one for BF'ing once boobs are gigantic as the cups only go up to G and come up small (I'm usually a DD and had to get an F - ridonculous).

Aaaarrrgh, had a dream last night it was my 12 week scan and the sonographer was feeling my bump (?!) and said it was TWINS....

He said it in such a "Like, d'oh" way, as if I really should've known. No recent twins in my family, although I think there might be a great-grandparent who was a twin on my mum's side.

Welcome to all the new BFPs! terry I wouldn't worry about the digi reading - you may have ovulated later than you thought, or your HCG levels might not be as high as the 'average' for 2-3 weeks, which means nothing for a healthy pregnancy.

Can I ask a question? Does anyone else have strangely normal boobs?? The very first sign I was pregnant with DD was Zeppelin tits which hurt like hell. This time, nada. Wondered if the fact I breastfed DD for 18 months until December could have made a difference? Seems a strange thing to worry about but I am convinced it 'means' something...

whatsforye mine are a bit sensitive but nothing like as bad as last time. Twins -eek! Wonder if any of us on here will have them?? Surely odds on someone will...

I wouldn't worry about the Bap situation WFY every pregnancy is different and you might just have super hard baps now. They probably laugh in the face of HCG.

Ha ha terry, I did think that my baps were prob pretty hardcore now after the mauling they had for so long...

I'm so TIRED (yawns). Keep waking before 6am and can't get back to sleep. You'd think I'd be used to that by now - my DD has never been a big sleep fan. But I'm shattered by 4pm.

Whataforye - the boob thing is strange, with Ds1 i had all the stuff you expec, very little with Dd but i put that down to the fact that i was still breastfeeding when she was she was conceived. Fed her for 2yrs and got pg with ds2 soon after that, during that pg i felt no change in my boobs at all. Fed ds2 for 2 years too and it's been exactly a year now since i stopped and this time my boobs are agony, really sensitive. You think they would know the drill.

Didn't have this with DD - could it be implantation bleeding at 4 + 4?

Thanks baps. No pain, a few niggles over the last couple of days and a bit dizzy today.
Hopefully it's nothing and I'll get a blood test for reassurance. Sitting in the open clinic at our surgery which is mayhem, hope to be seen soon!
Haven't phoned in to work yet, really don't want to have to tell my (old male) boss what's happening!

Tell him you have piles that will close the conversation down.

hellsbells552 I thought I may have had an unstick bean last month, but in retrospect, I came down with the stomach flu after a week of nausea so it might have been that. Fingers and toes crossed for everyone

Now I have to figure out GP appointments etc. I'm in a bit of a strange situation because technically I have "no fixed abode" - DP and I live on a narrowboat, cruising around London (hence my name), and I'm not sure where to make a GP appointment. I'm still registered at the GP at my last "land" address not so far away but I'm just thinking of trying to register at a place close to work.....
