Terry this is also my DC3, I think we're the only ones on that number are we? So far!

If anyone is concerned about a potential xmas baby, my daughter is a xmas eve one and it's actually pretty awesome. Not if this one is born on the same day but we'll cross that bridge when we get there....

TerryTheGreenHorse · 08/04/2015 22:57

Oh thank goodness!

Welcome to today's newbies, the December bus is filling up fast!

I have everything crossed for you Komnu x

Sorry he's reacted that way MrsMc, I hope he comes round once it's sunk in.

I am also really bloated today, I have a preggo bump full of air!

MoreCakeMoreCake · 09/04/2015 07:24

Morning all! After yesterday's freak out about BFN showing on my cheapo ebay test, I did a FRER today.
The digi one read BFP (1-2 weeks which I think means 3-4 wks pg) and the regular one was the faintest of faint blue lines. Also did 2 (yes 2) cheapo tests and both BFN. Don't know what to think, am all confused, should I just believe the digi test reading and calm the hell down??

MoreCakeMoreCake · 09/04/2015 07:27

PS it was a Clear Blue test that has 1 digital & 1 regular test in the pack, not First Response. Are FR better? Have promised DH I will leave it a week before POAS again!

Our little bus is turning into a big coach! Welcome to all the new bfp's!

mrs sorry your husband is feeling like that. You need to have a good long chat, iirc there were some complications for your health which is prob what he is concerned for sorry if I've got mixed up

more cake step away from the pee sticks!

I felt a bit queasy yesterday but not really bad. Still have really sore boobs especially when taking bra off and feeling really tired. Hope everyone else is ok x x

daisyspice · 09/04/2015 08:09

More cake if it helps any my gp said to me don't worry if the lines go faint or disappear it's expected when ur about 5 weeks gone, test apparently only work for a short window

Still have the lurgy today just want to sleep for a week but other than that I'm doing ok

Hope everyone else is well Smile

MoreCakeMoreCake · 09/04/2015 08:16

Thanks all. I will step away from the sticks and try to calm down! Wish I'd never bought the sodding ebay tests! That's £5 I'll never see again Wink
Welcome to all new BFPs on the bus!

Sweets27 · 09/04/2015 08:19

Morning ladies, and congrats to the new BFPs! Grin

MoreCake I think FRERs are the best to be honest, but it just sounds like your ICs are rubbish and the CB can be relied on. I'm with shiny, though - just step away from the sticks! You're pregnant! Smile

Oh and shiny, I lost track, are you back from hols yet?

MrsMC, really sorry to hear your dh has reacted like that. It must be very hard for you. Like someone else said, you've had a few more days to get used to it than he has, so odd you give him some space he might come round to it and start getting excited. Fx for you, let us know how it goes Flowers

I'm still SO tired, but no sickness or anything. Is impatience a symptom, though?!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 09/04/2015 08:24

Morecake, def trust the digi.

Sounds to me like you gave a rubbish batch if ICs. I would bin them all and do another digi next week if you want to just to give yourself the peace of mind.

shinysparklythings · 09/04/2015 08:31

Hi sweets nope I'm still on hols, get back to the uk about 2 on sat so should be home by 5!! Really hoping the sickness holds off as I tend to get travel sick anyway!!!

It sounds so ungrateful but I cannot wait to be home. On the plus side I will be 6 weeks on sat so by time I call the docs quite a bit of this early stage is done! Grin

ineedsomeinspiration · 09/04/2015 08:43

Welcome to all the new baps.

Hope your ok Komnu?

Mrsmc hope your dh is coming round and it was just the shock of it.

I feel rough this morning like I've got a hangover but obviously haven't.

ineedsomeinspiration · 09/04/2015 08:44

Bfps not baps!

shinysparklythings · 09/04/2015 08:51

Grin that's a great typo ineed

ThePug · 09/04/2015 10:27

Grin I read that and wondered if it was an acronym I hadn't come across. Have to say I don't really like the term 'preggos' so maybe we should call ourselves baps instead!

Last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 9, woke up at 10.30 and managed to crawl into bed. First time I've just had a complete wall of tiredness hit me.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 09/04/2015 10:43

Arf at baps.

My period was due yesterday so I was pleased to get through the day, ive also picked up a horrible bug from the DC so am currently lying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. Not sure what is bug and what is symptom though! Grin

Jcandy · 09/04/2015 10:53

Hungover is a good way to describe it! Urgh!

Metalhead · 09/04/2015 10:55

Haha, baps made me laugh! Grin

I keep getting waves of nausea this morning... I'll only be 5 weeks tomorrow so thought I might still have a little while before the sickness kicks in, but maybe not. At least it's a good sign!

Hope your bleeding has settled down komnu, and that your husband is coming round to the idea of another baby mrsmc.

Komnu · 09/04/2015 12:16

Hey all, and welcome to the new BFPs! thanks for all your kind words and crossed fingers! No real update - sadly still bleeding but it hasn't turned super heavy (sorry TMI), and have called the midwife and EPU equivalent here and they didn't seem to think it sounded that bad just now, and again said I should just wait, and go in if things developed. No early scans available at the hospital, BUT I was v happy to find out I can get a private early scan for a really reasonable price (I had imagined it would be super expensive) so we are booked in for next Friday when I'll be seven weeks exactly. Just knowing that by this time next week I'll have some kind of answer one way or another is reassuring. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone's doing well today!

Komnu · 09/04/2015 12:21

This time in a week and a day, not this time next week. Thought it was Friday today!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 09/04/2015 12:44

I'm sorry to hear it's not stopped but it's good that it hasn't got any worse I do know so many people that have had bleeding and everything has gone on to be fine but it must be so worrying for you, and I think having the scan is a great idea.

Everything crossed for you here for a happy outcome. Thanks

Sweets27 · 09/04/2015 12:51

shiny, I reckon it's probably best that you've been away on holiday - those of us at home have been obsessively peeing on sticks and googling pregnancy things, probably going a little crazy (at least speaking for myself). Like you say, you'll be 6 weeks by the time you get back! Smile

komnu, glad you've got a scan soon - fx for it!
