Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh Dulcet I've never done the secret hotels thing before because I'm always scared they'll be crap. Is it generally quite good then?

Purpleball · 03/04/2015 21:49

Evening viroids. I had another migraine today Sadthis morning before we went out for the day for my nieces 2nd birthday. I drank a bottle of water and closed my eyes in the car and it eventually went. Car sickness was the worst ever though. I had sat in the back to try sleep....big mistake. The only time it's bearable is if I drive but my eyes were too sore Sad

Been for a nosy at their kids bedrooms and how their clothes and things are organised. Need a trip to ikea for drawer organiser thingys for the baby's clothes. Also want some baskets for nappies and wipes etc.

It's my birthday next week and family have asked what I want so I'm getting the changing bag. There's nothing for me that I want so I'm glad of the help with baby things

Love the pick n mix idea La, hope you enjoyed it. And yes to covering mouth...definitely

Pixie I hope you're feeling better soon

Bat hope the BBQs went well

Mountain hope the news goes down well, I'm sure they'll be delighted for you

Sorry memory is shot, can't remember any more!

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 03/04/2015 21:50

Toast pm me your email address and I'll add you!

Nessalina · 03/04/2015 21:53

Hello lovely viroids Grin Hope everyone's having a fabulous and not too vommy pregnancy?? Only 5 months since J arrived and I've already blanked it from my mind!!
I'm just poking my head in from the Grad Grads to see if anyone is interesting in buying a nursing glider chair? I totally misjudged the size of our nursery when I bought it, so we've had to get a beanbag instead Grin I'm gutted coz it was expensive and I convinced DH that it was absolutely necessary and it's very comfy Sad It's this one but in white wood. Bought for £165, was going to put on eBay for collection only at £100, but you viroids can have first dibs if anyone fancies it, PM me ??

Cymraes17 · 03/04/2015 22:03

I like the idea of fb page, but worried that I might not be able to do anything at all if i join, trying to read up on fred is a big distraction. Would be interesting to 'meet' you though.......
I dont think I've congratulated the recent baby arrivals either (ipad is playong up, some days I cant open mn at all, still waiting fod DH to sort it out!)
I started crying thes afternoon whilst listening to a song on radio, then noticed that I last heard it at a funeral not long ago, and the deceased was the same name as DD2,who I was holding at the time.

ZylaB · 03/04/2015 22:14

I'll just say that the chair ness is selling is the one we've got and it's super comfy! Was dead easy to put together too, I did it myself at about 26weeks pg in about 30mins :)

DulcetMoans · 03/04/2015 23:03

Thought that might be what you were getting at rhi, that makes sense. I told you all I cried about the Hoover breaking I think, cried this week because DH was angry cos I accidentally bleached his hoodie. Feel awful about it still actually.

Hi nessa! 5 mnths goes so quickly! Hope you find someone for the chair.

Love your nursery tee! Need to get myself some inspiration.

I'm the same in the car purple and travel sickness worse in pregnancy. Driving and sitting in the front only things to help.

This is only second time we've done it wil, first was a Hilton and this is The Grange and really nice. It's a risk but in London even a premier inn is expensive so getting somewhere cheaper has proven to be worth the risk.

lildottie · 03/04/2015 23:36

evening all. I may be in much need of a hooya but I think I have another symptom and wondered if its one anyone else has experienced.... my pee stinks really odd. I'd forgotten until today that this happened last cycle (ie when I got upduffed) too. I'm tempted to test in the morning but only 10dpo, although had bfp same sort of time last cycle too. the sickness I was having has gone but lips are still fairly dry. I guess I'd rather know if I was having a cp than not know so I can tell clinic when I eventually go in! any thoughts gratefully received!

deeplybaffled · 03/04/2015 23:43

lil - am far from an expert, but my pee has smelled odd to me for most of the pregnancy so far, to the extent i was surprised when the midwife tested it at 16 weeks and said it was fine. So i don't think I can issue you with a hooya quite yet, but being honest, couldn't really tell you whether it was the same pre test result or just later on. So gx cautiously for you.

DulcetMoans · 03/04/2015 23:53

You know we want all good things for you lil, and hopefully both those things are symptoms, but you also know that hope can make you see thins differently and I really don't want you disappointed. No funny wee smell here that I remember but yes to dry cracked lips. I offer you a hooya in the hope that I am completely wrong and will have to apologise.

Did you do any opks this month to know the timings?

In terms of testing, 10dpo is early but many of hates at early anyway so telling you know is probably pointless. Still, to get a better answer you are better to wait a couple of days. POAS tomorrow and getting BFN will not answer your question.

So hoping for you though! Trying to be the voice of reason, not the voice of doubt.

lildottie · 04/04/2015 00:18

thanks deeply and dulcet. I know what I should do! and I'm not convinced I'm headed for a bfp but there is enough to make me feel more hopeful than usual. though I know I'm going to feel stupid for saying all this when AF arrives next week. I did one opk on what ff has as o day and it was negative (which mine usually are on o day) but I temped and that has confirmed it. dotted lines on ff because of temp times but I've been charting long enough to know its right. I'm rambling now. this twot is worse than the ivf one! I just struggle with the lack of control in this! sorry for thread jacking!

LaLaLaaaa · 04/04/2015 02:42

Hey lil, I know how you feel and I'm going to give you a tentative hooyah but only for the following reason:

In my wtf cycle I knew I was pg straight away. I'd been pg only 4 weeks earlier and I recognised the symptoms immediately. I just knew.

BUT I still got bfn testing too early, which threw doubt on the situation and stressed me out. I didn't get bfp until (checks ff) 11dpo. Even though I had symptoms.

So this is my advice - wait until 11-12dpo and then test. Because bfn is disappointing enough without the added pressure of wtf cycle tww stress. You can't change the result that you'll eventually get so wait a few more days to get the accurate one.

We are all rooting for you!!

LaLaLaaaa · 04/04/2015 02:43

I'm wide awake and legs and feet are itchy again. Aaaaaah!

willywallace · 04/04/2015 05:27

I don't miss itchy legs! Have you poured on the moisturiser?

I agree with La Lil, but then you know I'm not a fan of testing early. I do remember funny pee though although don't think at that stage. Massively keeping fingers crossed for you.

LaLaLaaaa · 04/04/2015 07:54

Moisturiser, savlon, everything. It itches, I scratch, it hurts :(

DulcetMoans · 04/04/2015 08:07

Is it only when you're in bed la? I had a couple episodes of prickly heat on my back at work last week but I was awake. Don't fancy itchy legs waking me up!

What did you do then lil? Did you resist the test for another day??

Funky dreams last night, some creepy. First one I can remember where the baby was born too. Was a boy and he was a bit of a squinny and very warm bodied!

LaLaLaaaa · 04/04/2015 08:12

Couldn't sleep last night and started googling holidays for sept/oct. We haven't been away properly together since honeymoon and have been focussing on paying debt. In oct I will finally finish paying off my originally £8000 credit card debt, woohoo! It means money coming in can be mine instead of debts.

Although I'll be on mat leave we will have enough for a little treat. I thought it would be good idea to go away with baby, as I read that it's easier to take them in first 6 months than later - is this true? They are less mobile etc. We would go somewhere like a resort just to relax, not our usual trying to find somewhere 'different' to explore.

Is this a stupid idea? Should we wait til the year after? I thought perhaps of inviting my mum too - since her and dad split she's been nowhere and would like a holiday, and she could help with baby too (only if she wanted!)

Got to get up - getting fanjo waxed in an hour then heading to the animal open day to volunteer, armed with cakes! Dh came home and laughed at the number of cakes I made - kitchen is full!

LaLaLaaaa · 04/04/2015 08:13

Yeah dulcet and only once I've been asleep - it wakes me up

willywallace · 04/04/2015 08:25

My leg itching used to be exactly the same La.

Holiday isn't a silly idea and it shouldn't be too hot in October - algarve is nice that time of year. Personally the thought of going away with a baby stresses me out a bit but you're right, it's easier to do it before you sort out routines etc for them. I always found MiniWil slept terribly away from home but if they are small enough they'll still be sleeping terribly anyway so you won't notice the difference Grin .

Hi guys

Newbie here got my first ever bfp yesterday and still kinda expecting AF to arrive and go hahaha only joking ur not

lildottie · 04/04/2015 09:08

so it seems dh is a poas addict. I mentioned poas to him last night and he did not let me forget! in calling bfn but he thinks he can see something. so as expected I'm no nearer to an answer but hopefully now I can not be a crazy symptom spotter today!

RhiannonElward · 04/04/2015 09:13

Lil, there's always tomorrow.

Congratulations Daisy Flowers it is hard to believe in the early days but it will sink in eventually :)

RhiannonElward · 04/04/2015 09:15

Oh and Lil, my pee smelled funny too.

lildottie · 04/04/2015 09:27

rhi no! i cant be imagining it then! I reckon there is something going on in my womble but I don't think its going to turn into a baby. I think my eggs are fooked!

lildottie · 04/04/2015 09:28

maybe my eggs are made of chocolate!
