Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I haven't a clue what I'm cooking La, initially I thought girl, but I'm in the middle now. it'll be a lovely surprise either way :)

My mat leave last time had to start at 33w, Mountain - they wouldn't fund a slot on the rota for the sake of three weeks, so that was my dates sorted for me. I took all of that medical year's leave at the end and had the full year away so I could go back in LTFT in Aug - if I requested return earlier than that they wouldn't guarantee where I would work or if it even could be LTFT...worth looking into.

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 08:54

Do have a look to see if there are any groups purple - there's a bf group in my town, mums who meet up for regular chats and it's a quiet venue where you can bf in peace.

Dulcet don't worry! It'll all be fine :) baby isn't going to care if my tyres are fixed or not, that's my OCD kicking in! You've got ages yet, plenty of time to do anything you need to do.

Apparently I was meant to make appointment at tyre place (didn't say that on email) so I'm sitting in prey with a coffee and book. It's quite nice having forced 'me' time! If I were at home I'd be cleaning!

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 08:57

Wil she won't miss a toe or two?

Oh and dh forgave me for eating bunny foot! He even left me the rest of it yesterday bless him :)

DulcetMoans · 11/04/2015 09:02

I did the windows, that was the big thing. It's buying stuff for baby I am behind with. Only really have cot and clothes/nappies. But it can sleep in a drawer to begin with, right? I'm ok really, just need to plan some stuff!

Do you call the bump 'she' chat? We call this one 'he' all the time but could be totally wrong!

What about baby and bump classes purple? Or one of my friends met people at aquanatal? NCT is meant to be good for meeting people from the people I know that did it but there's no guarantees as it depends who you get.

DulcetMoans · 11/04/2015 09:03

wil, I have some mini ice buns I can post?!

couldntbebothered · 11/04/2015 09:05

Wil no it is a surprise, excited to find out if it is a boy or a girl (the anticipation keeps me going atvthis stage!)

La yes it is me who has a horse, I'm not having to do much at all though as he is turned away in the field and gets checked for me. It's nice I don't have to do any early mornings to be honest!

WilHarlot · 11/04/2015 09:11

Oh god please Dulcet. I really need to get up and showered too. Will have to just bite the bullet and move her. She's in a sleeping bag La, can't get at the toes. Could probably manage a finger.

So excited to see all new baby pictures and find out names.

ChatEnOeuf · 11/04/2015 09:12

Nope, Dulcet I call it 'it' unless DD initiates a convo, when she launches in with she this and she that... it's a bit weird.

I did NCT for the sole purpose of meeting people, Purple. They weren't the kind of folks I'm normally friends with, but they were good mat leave mates. Very Gina Ford though. We're still loosely in touch now but stopped having regular meets once we were all back at work. Sad in some ways, but we are all quite different people. See if there are any other groups - yoga, swimming, etc. Or, wait until baby is here and go to groups - BF, M&B, church groups, massage, swimming, sensory, signing...there's far too much loads in most towns from what I've seen - more if you're able to travel a little.

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 09:21

:) yes that's great that you can turn him away. I couldn't do that with mine he's too highly strung and would jump out. He's getting on so well though, although I get sad at the updates I love that he's having fun and is so loved. Her sharer is jumping him which he loves! I've seen videos and he's flying, it's hilarious coz his little face is like the cheesy face Donkey pulls in Shrek as he bounds over them. The girl who bought him is too scared to jump him so I was a bit :( he wouldn't get to do it.

I'm definitely getting another one when we move back to Scotland.

Dulcet tbh as long as baby has something to eat, somewhere to sleep and some clothes you're most if the way there! We've still got loads to get - and I'm waiting to see what people buy us as I am sure we will get lots of newborn stuff so there's no point in buying loads ourselves. Got no nappies at all yet. They take up too much space so im leaving them for as long as possible!

Once babies here we should try to meet up! You're not that far from me :). We could all go to London for the day and meet up, as there are loads of us within reach of there.

chat I always knew this one was a boy, I never got any girl vibes from the beginning.

wil I can courier you a croissant?

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 09:28

Oh and we think we have first name sorted. Went through whole baby book and Benjamin is still our favourite. Shhhh though that's a massive secret...no one even knows I'm having a DS apart from me, dh and you guys!

Loads of options for middle name still so got to narrow it down.

mountaingirl01 · 11/04/2015 09:34

wil that made me giggle quite a lot, the cat that is asleep on me wasn't impressed.

Thanks chat I will have to get my are in gear and work out what will happen. It's confusing enough this moving larky anyway.remind me why I made it even more difficult?!

Think I'm going to have to wait till babe is born, as far as I can see there are things for mum and baby in the town about 7 miles away (we live2 miles out of a very tiny village) but only one thing that mums with bumps can go to - which is Thursday mornings (I run clinic on Thurs mornings). Oh the benefits of living in the middle of nowhere! Hospital and nct are 25 miles away so not going to bother!

WilHarlot · 11/04/2015 10:54

I'd bloody love a croissant. Had toast and humous finally.

La, that's lovely. It's nice to make a decision. I found the whole thing pretty stressful.

Just ripped a pair of trousers with my fat ass Sad. Bad times.

Fleurchamp · 11/04/2015 11:17

I am completely behind with the organising.

I have:
3 sleep suits
2 swaddle blankets
Avent pump, bottle set and steriliser
Cuddly toy

THAT IS ALL Shock

No cot, nothing.

Pram I am borrowing from my sister but I am worried she is getting cold feet as my nephew is still using it. I don't mind but I just wish she would say so.

I asked to borrow the chassis for the weekend to go car shopping and it was a flat out no. I am 26 weeks. I think I should just buy my own but my DM says that my sister is definitely giving it to me Confused

How long is the wait on these things?

gaggiagirl · 11/04/2015 11:27

mountain are you nearing your 20wk scan yet? You've been pregnant forever
fleur if you haven't been given the pram by the time you're 36 wks I think you should just get one, or a second hand one?
Mine took 10 days to arrive when I had DD. This baby is getting a wheelbarrow if its lucky!

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 11:57

My pram only took 3 days from pram centre. I would do as the others suggested - see if she's given it to you by 36 weeks and then go get one.

You're doing better than me with the pump :) I've got sling, pram, car seat, a few body suits, some toiletries (I stick one thing a week on the shopping delivery), snuzpod and cot bed. Lots still to get. Totally bamboozled by breast pumps and monitors so I can't be arsed to do that bit yet. Going to a baby show end of month so I'll see what they have there.

Off to lunch with my school pals now - 1 is due week after me and the other 3 are bringing their wee ones

splodge77 · 11/04/2015 12:09

Ooh it's quite stressful when people offer to lend you stuff then u r not sure if it's really gonna materialise or not! Hope she hands it over but yes I'm sure u can pick up a 2nd hand pram online pretty quick. We got our whole travel system on eBay. We seem to have a loony amount of stuff but I still haven't bought myself some BIG PANTS to accommodate mat pads in those joyous post-delivery days. Better hobble down to peacocks. Hopefully they can sort me out.

teejayem · 11/04/2015 12:27

Irrationally tearful this morning. Made huge group dinner last night for Sil and husband, which as delicious may I add, but really took it out of me, and I don't think Mr tee realised the effort. He announced last Night just before bed that he was going out today to spend a voucher he got for his birthday, and then a haircut, and then he's going to see his mother. So I'm on my own pretty much all day, without a car so I can't even waddle round the supermarket, and I bought nice brunch things to have which aren't going to get used. 4 hours of broken sleep with over active baby trying to kick his way out of me, horrendous pelvic pain every time I roll over, plus Mr Tee announcing he isn't taking the day off work for my birthday next week (he usually does, and I do the same for him) - I'd hoped he'd planned at least a dinner or lunch or something, and he hasn't done anything. I always make the effort to do nice things, why can't he?? result; sitting in bed with the cat for the last two hours and big snotty ploppy tears. Half of which is boo hoo me, and the other is feeling bad for feeling boo hoo me.

Also I need a poo and I'm scared it's going to hurt. :(

daisyspice · 11/04/2015 13:19

Aw tee that's not good I'd be having words with Mr tee and making sure he has something good organised for birthday or maybe he's sorted a surprise??

Need some advice viroids had to go to a&e this morning started bleeding which has been very light and only on wiping docs think I have a urinary infection but want me to go to epu just to be on the safe side can't see any bleeding on examination

Scared shitless anyone else had this before and it's been ok? Or am I in denial?

mountaingirl01 · 11/04/2015 14:08

daisy first of all, try not to stress too much (easier said than done I know) ... No blood on exam is good. You are still quite early so there are numerous led scary things it could be, including a uti or just breakthrough bleeding. I'm glad they are referring you to epu for scanning how many weeks exactly are you? If there isnt anything on scan don't worry too much as it could be too early to see. Are you having any pain or cramping? Is there someone with you?

mountaingirl01 · 11/04/2015 14:10

Btw both chat and I and probably many of the others ?tee had bleeding in the first trimester Flowers

mountaingirl01 · 11/04/2015 14:13

gaggia it feels like forever to me too! I'm 17+2 so scanning on may 6th :) there was only 6weeks between my second mc and this pregnancy though so it feels like I've been pregnant since October!

ChatEnOeuf · 11/04/2015 14:21

Daisy I had all of the bleeding in all of the world with this pregnancy. Pretty much all the time from 5-12w. Actually, on reflection I've had it in all four pregnancies, seems to be my thing Hmm Just on wiping without pain is reassuring, hopefully EPU can scan and put your mind at ease.

We took our travel system home on the day, Fleur - some M&P thing that's still going strong. Mostly used for groceries for the last year...

Tee wail away, that sucks. He had better plan something special for you, maybe he could use some of his time out and about today...

Ha, Mountain you must love a challenge!

I love the name Ben La, it's about the only boy name I like at the moment.

daisyspice · 11/04/2015 14:23

Thanks mountain I'm 5+4wks and I'm cosied up on the couch getting lots of tlc from oh

Trying not to panic

teejayem · 11/04/2015 14:27

Really easy to say not to panic daisy note to self take own advice but as mountain said its good if there's no bleeding in exam, mine weren't UTIs, they were just sensitive cervix and I had/have a Lowish placenta. One of my episodes was brought on by a bit of a vigorous shag Blush. Now baby is a bit bigger he sets the spotting off if he moves around a bit too much, so yes, in summary, you can have a bit of a leak and it be okay! How long have you got to wait until you can go to EPU? We are here for hand holding! Xx

teejayem · 11/04/2015 14:30

(Wailing episode has finished, I've just cleaned out the fridge and feel remarkably better... Freak......)

I'm still replying to mr tee's texts in one word answers childish and with no kisses.
