Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Pixie that's hilarious.

Which horse Dulcet? Or will it be at risk of outing yourself if you say?

Just went to a park and then for another walk when I got home. Nothing thrilling but it's great it's getting to that time of year again. Winter can be blooming long up here. I never fail to be surprised at how much nicer the weather is in the south of england.

Fattycow · 10/04/2015 20:38

I am very happy that the weather is getting nice again. And I have a good bike now, so that makes it even easier to enjoy the sunshine!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/04/2015 21:01

Weather in Scotland was nicer than here last week though!

Baby feels draggy and far down tonight. Like it's gone down into my bits! A very odd feeling Smile

Which horse? I'll watch it tomorrow and cheer it on!

Still getting videos and photos from my horses new owner. Bless her, she is lovely but I do wish she'd stop sending me so many messages. I think she just likes to share how great he is getting on which is sweet...I seriously think she forgets she owns him now.

Did anyone see the photos of ladies day today...phew there were some terrible outfits!!! I felt sorry for some of the ladies though, it's mean to out photos on national paper mocking them!

minimooo · 10/04/2015 21:05

Crusty nips here too! Grin

Love the national-style commentary la, though I have a feeling I'm going to go overdue. They put my dates forward at 12-week scan but they don't match my cycle dates (was tracking ovulation)
Midwife this morning said baby is not engaged at all yet (and she's back to back too, eek! So need to try to get her to turn round a bit).

Haha pixie that's funny Grin

DulcetMoans · 10/04/2015 21:41

I know we are totally out out on FB but don't want to out here. BUT it has a people name, nothing abstract. I'll put it on FB if I can grab a photo. It was 66-1 when I looked earlier.

That must have been pretty damp then pixie! Never thought it would get that bad, anything thing to look forward to.

I saw the gypsies at the grand national la, they they always know how to dress!

Purpleball · 10/04/2015 21:57

I had a flutter on the national. I always do. I know it's a bit controversial and I hate it when horses don't make it

mountaingirl01 · 10/04/2015 22:52

I didn't even know it was the grand national! Goes to show how out of touch I currently am with anything in the external (not hospital) world!

7 mins tee that surpasses even my dodgy midwife. When were you lot told about NHS antenatal options? Or is it something we are supposed to research ourselves? I really want to meet some other prospective mums in my area! Nct don't have a local group.

I haven't had any discussions with work about leave yet, I think they're burying their heads in the sand. I think I am going to request to leave last day of august then have 16 days annual leave before due date. Need to work out what happens to annual leave if baby early though. I could save my leave up and have longer, but I think I would call apart if I didn't have any holiday till august!

couldntbebothered · 10/04/2015 23:06

La it is a bumper month at the end of April - I'm having an elcs so almost certain to have baby before due date, therefore may sneak in front of the rest of the list Wink

Lurking mainly, hope all ok and hi to the new people! I am enjoying the time off in sunshine but at the same time this last stretch seems never ending!

KatoPotato · 10/04/2015 23:48

Pram porn! Just built all by mysrlf. Yes I bought two hoods...

splodge77 · 10/04/2015 23:57

Cor very posh kato!!
I'm lying here with hot water bottle up against me fanjo - so frickin achey. Think I must have this SPD or PGP or whatever it's called. Can hardly walk now & it ain't funny. At least we have chocolate in the house- not for long tho...

WilHarlot · 10/04/2015 23:58

Do you know what you're having Could?

Damn this bloody app with its no photos.

Did you not have nice weather this week La?

WilHarlot · 11/04/2015 00:01

That's lovely Kato. Really like the yellow one actually.

DulcetMoans · 11/04/2015 06:44

Lush kato, am also particularly find of the yellow!

I'm not sure what happens to mat leave if the baby comes early. I have 17.5 days to use in about 10 weeks so was think I might take two weeks before as hols and start mat leave on due date but will I lose it if baby comes early?? Some heads are defo in the sand at my place!

Sounds painful splodge, worth seeing anyone about it or is the hot water bottle enough for now?

Fleurchamp · 11/04/2015 07:17

I think the holiday thing depends on your company.
Mine will only let me carry 5 days. I am taking two weeks' leave and then two weeks maternity before due date.
Maternity leave starts on the day the baby is born or your due date, whichever is first. Therefore I didn't want to risk losing my holiday!
I am carrying 3 bank holidays over to next year.

Legally, I can't see how they can do you out of holiday and would expect that they would need to add any holiday not taken (you can't be on mat leave and holiday ta

Fleurchamp · 11/04/2015 07:18

At the same time)

Sorry posted too soon!

Love the pram kato

mountaingirl01 · 11/04/2015 07:26

Gorgeous pram kato! I especially love the stripes with the yellow :D

mountaingirl01 · 11/04/2015 07:28

BTW ^stealth boast.. I think I am the best wife ever. Day off but just got up to make hubby a bacon sandwich before work.

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 07:34

Nice pram kato!!

I've got a lady hopefully buying my spare bed tomorrow. Once that's gone we can start painting the nursery, hooray!

I can carry over any a/l from this year plus bank hols, then use 2016 a/l. Mat leave starts on edd. I want to make sure I have a bit of time before baby so I am taking 2 weeks a/l then starting mat leave on edd. I then get 6 weeks 90% pay except my work tops it up to full which I didn't realise til I got my letter. Then 33 weeks smp. At end of that I'll use a/l carried over and bank hols to take me as far up to a year as possible (think it's going to be 11 months altogether). Selling my horse means I get extra £250 a month til jan which will help a lot. If you're with bupa you also get a £200 cash plan payment on birth of baby. Plus child benefit £20 a week. We are trying to get everything paid off before I go on mat leave so outgoings are less.

We also have a my OCD would be proud list of stuff we need to get done before birth, niggly things like new tyres on car, fixing stuff round house etc. Trying to make our lives as simple as possible for when baby comes. I'm up so early coz tyres are getting fitted today.

Wil it's been lovely weather but I work in centre of big office so don't get to see it! Last weekend wasn't nice when all my mates in the burgh were posting up pics of sun

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 07:40

Mountain I organised my own daisy classes and my exercise class where I meet mums to be. I was given nct leaflet by midwife and invited on 2 hospital antenatal classes (including bf class where I have to take a muffin!). That's been it though for antenatal so far.

I'm still v confused about mat leave and don't really understand how long I'll be off for in total. I'm going to ask hr for a meeting to go through it this week. We can't afford for me to be off unpaid.

could definitely right idea to take some time out and enjoy the weather before baby! Hope the next few weeks go smoothly for you. My hip is painful to lie on now so I am wondering whether this is SPD after all. Is it you who has a horse? Are you still looking after them?

Purpleball · 11/04/2015 08:03

La you get 39 weeks paid at statutory but you can have a further 13 weeks unpaid.

Must look on pc at pram pics.

I asked mw about antenatal and she said it's done at the hospital which is 12 miles away - that's no going to help me meet baby friends in the village. I need to do something round here too.
It's difficult with my work as I'm away a lot and can't guarantee to be in the same place at the same time each week, unless it's a weekend

Purpleball · 11/04/2015 08:04

If the baby is early then your mat leave starts that day and you annual leave gets carried over or is paid - whatever you agree with work

LaLaLaaaa · 11/04/2015 08:06

Ahh you're so handy purple thank you!!

Are there any mum and baby or mum and bump groups near you? On Facebook I looked under my town name and found some

DulcetMoans · 11/04/2015 08:43

I got given a list of mine at first midwife appointment mountain. The NHS offer quite a few here actually, think our area seems quite good. I have one today 'health in pregnancy' which I kind of feel is a bit late - if I've not done it right by now...

Thanks for the maternity info viroids! I really need to talk to someone at work but they are useless!

(Having a minor internal breakdown that I have not sorted things out for the baby now!)

WilHarlot · 11/04/2015 08:46

Breathe Dulcet. It'll all be fine.

I am SO hungry but have a sleeping baby on top of me. I may have to eat her...

Purpleball · 11/04/2015 08:47

There are NCT ones but I'm not keen on them

My best friend is still mates with her antenatal friends and the kids are 9 his year. I wanted that for me really (needy)
If I want friends I might have to do NCT though
