Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

ha ha pis don't worry, the stretch marks are all over me poor boobs instead, I wont' be posting a photo of them! Sorry to hear about the arse rain. I had it last night too. Joy. Welcome to the endless talk of poo and swamp-fanjo Jcandy!!

My mum bought me a posh changing bag which was nice - one of the only non-second hand things this baby is getting. Lots of the bags are so girly and flowery which I don't like - I expect DP to do a good amount of taking the baby out and about so bag has to work for him too!

My parents are moving house for the first time in 35 years and after 6 months of faff over the sales/exchange dates their moving date looks to be mid-May. I fear I'm gonna be next to useless to them which is annoying! Wanted to help.

splodge77 · 09/04/2015 09:15

think i have piles too Fleur - somethings defo not right down there but they don't itch or anything. Delightful.

KatoPotato · 09/04/2015 09:17

No way Mountain?! You'd think you'd research a procedure before trying to do it for the first time!

If she's good Fleur I don't think it will be a waste of money. It is a lot of money though. If you have no family around, the aftercare thing would be really helpful. I found in the actual delivery I really only wanted MrWil. For my first baby, my mum came in for a while so he could catch a couple of hours sleep (it went on for days) and I just wanted him to come back the whole time. Mr Fleur may surprise you. What does she do in the pre-visits?

ChatEnOeuf · 09/04/2015 09:36

Ooh, Kato that's a beauty. I got our Boots freebie out and it's all frayed and scruffy, so I bought a half-price dark purple handbag in Sainsbury's this week to replace it. Is beautiful.

Fleur try lactulose? Softens the poo. If you can afford it and you would benefit from the help, a doula sounds lovely. Especially if your DH isn't likely to be hot on cooking/cleaning etc.

I've also seen the clit/foof catheters...dudes are much more straightforward :)

Not feeling the love for this year's OBEM, though the Dutch-language channel vijf has old series on sometimes which is great.

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 09:43

The poo is pretty soft but I only "go" every couple of days so it's quite, ahem, large!

The doula does relaxation techniques and pregnancy massage too.

Hmm. DH is ok with cooking and cleaning but on his terms, ie if I asked him to do something he will do everything but.

Jcandy · 09/04/2015 10:27

Ooo lovely I'll look forward to that then! writes pantyliners on shopping list

Kato that bag is lovely Smile

So I'm already bloated enough to not be able to do the top button up on my work trousers.... Even after arse rain! Good job the zip seems to be staying up and my tunic covers it Confused

WilHarlot · 09/04/2015 10:28

Maybe a punch in the face would help Fleur? Wink

Ooh massage. I'd probably pay her 650 quid right now to sort my back out. If she can teach you techniques for staying calm in labour and helps your back I think it sounds pretty good. If you can afford it without worry.

minimooo · 09/04/2015 10:46

kato that bag is beautiful!

splodge your bump looks amazing. Also Envy of no stretch marks! I have loads on right-hand side of bump and underneath...and all over boobs too, grrr!

I've not watched obem this series at all. I'm worried that it will scare me too much before the birth Shock

I've just got the freebie boots changing bag. I figured I'd give it a go and if it wasn't any good I'll treat myself to a nice bag after the baby's here.

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 10:50

Lovely bag kato

splodge great bumpage. When should one expect the arrival of stretch marks? I know it's cod science that moisturising and bio oil prevent them doesn't stop me doing it anyway but just wondered when to start looking for them. I got some small ones in my teens from growing thighs Sad

Thanks for the comments re doula Smile

Fattycow · 09/04/2015 11:14

I love that bag!

Fattycow · 09/04/2015 11:18

fleur, the first stretch marks I got were on my boobs. But only at the bottom, so I could only see those in the mirror. I now have them on my sides as well. I think those appeared at around 24 weeks, but I'm not sure...

minimooo · 09/04/2015 11:30

fleur my boob ones started in later part of 1st trimester I think. They started just on the undersides, but during 2nd trimester they started creeping up and round the sides too.
My belly ones...I can't quite remember when they first appeared...it was when my bump really started to expand, so maybe about 25ish weeks. I know I definitely didn't have them at my 20-week scan. When they first started, I could actually feel the skin splitting as they appeared, but now I'm just adding to them willy nilly without realising.
I can definitely vouch for the fact that moisturising/oiling doesn't help Sad

Fattycow · 09/04/2015 11:38

The only thing that helps when moisturizing is that you massage the area. The cream/oil/lotion itself does nothing, but the massaging of the skin helps (a bit). But massaging dry doesn't work that well, hence the need for some kind of lubricant. You could use plain old olive oil if that is what you've got on hand. Grin

gaggiagirl · 09/04/2015 11:46

tee he doesn't have a spear but he does have a gun (sorry animal lovers). I swear he is Darryl from.the walking dead.

teejayem · 09/04/2015 11:59

That bag is lush kato!!

I have the bum bleed fleur but no piles I don't think, I'm hoping I just have a little tear which seems to be the lesser of two evils?!

Stretch mark wise I've got big red ones on my boobs that radiate from my nipples making them look like angry Suns, and then the tops of my thighs, bum and Side of hips. Stomach has escaped thus far.

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 12:17

minimooo Shock to feeling the skin splitting. Yikes!

I don't think my boobs will get them, they are a bit fuller but not the rack I was hoping for.

Will have to make time to massage bump rather than just slathering on the oil.

freshstart4us · 09/04/2015 12:40

splodge that is a truly beautiful bump! Not long now. Grin I also am fortunate enough to have escaped stretch marks so far, GX for the next 9 weeks! minimooo OMG that you could feel them coming in, that is horrendous.

kato that is a gorgeous bag, your friend is very talented. I can mend, but not sew. Just dont have that creative thing going on, so I really, really admire anyone who has. My SiL, for example, patchworks, does semi-professional photography, draws, paints, makes mixed-media artwork, her own photo frames, etc. I can write a mean PR release and deal with mountains of bureaucratic bulls**t paperwork that would melt most sane mortals, but anything colourful or artistic escapes me. Not sure how Im gonna go at the SAHM gig Ive got coming at me like a train!

With you all on the piles/arse rain issues. Oh, the glamour of it all.

And joy of joys, I woke at 2:11am this morning and didnt get back to sleep so much as a wink. Murderous acid reflux, Gaviscon didnt even touch it. Feel like the walking dead myself today although gaggia its prob a very good thing I dont have a gun, am going out to lunch with some colleagues for a leaving do and am liable to shoot all those around me who can eat sushi and drink wine. bastards

WilHarlot · 09/04/2015 13:43

That sucks Fresh.

I think I got stretch marks in my first pg on the bottom of the bump but they went away afterwards. Didn't get any this time round although have them on my thighs from when I was younger. I reckon if you've made it to 30 odd weeks without getting them, they ain't coming.

Tee I think arse bleeding is more likely to be piles than a fissure. A couple of the girls on the mumming thread have fissures and they sound agony. I have piles and get a bit of blood and slight discomfort when I poo but apart from that they don't bother me.

Purpleball · 09/04/2015 13:47

Wow Splodge that's an amazing bump Grin

Kato that bag is fabby Smile

I've chosen a navy striped bag which apparently my sister is buying me for my birthday on Saturday Smile

I also have piles but I've had them since I did Lighterlife years ago. They are worse in pregnancy though. Haven't checked yet if anusol is ok for pregnancy. Haven't had much arse rain, mostly the opposite. I need to keep eating fruit!

JCandy you probably need some panty liners - sorry lovie it's much more pleasant than the alternative

I noticed the eyebrows in OBEM. Don't they call it a scousebrow? Or have I made that up? The Dad pic freaked me out a bit too.

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 14:32

Scousers have completely different style and fashion compared to the rest of the UK, 'tis odd!

teejayem · 09/04/2015 14:54

If I can't see them or feel them wil I'm having Total pile denial!

I ordered a new duvet over the weekend as all of ours are feather and a total shit to wash, plus the one on the bed at the moment is an 18 tog monster which is doing nothing for night sweats. I've gone for one of those button together to make a winter duvet ones, which is a 4.5tog and a 9 tog separately in microfibres which hopefully will put up with boob leaks and the like. Got a text this morning to say it'll be delivered between 11.35 and 12.35 and I'm still fucking waiting for it. I need to go out and get a refund on my season ticket (rejoice!!!) and get a chicken for dinner, and I don't want to leave it too late. I did have an unexpected delivery this morning which is a hotel chocolat bag which is sealed (boo) and a gift tag that instructs me to not open until my birthday next week. I know there are sour cherry truffles in there, how can I knowingly have them in the house and not touch them.........?

WilHarlot · 09/04/2015 15:03

Yeah scouse fashion tis a law unto itself.

Open them Tee. No point fighting it.

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 15:19

Open them, eat them and then deny ever receiving them in the hope that replacements appear next week tee

I am so bored of work. It's sunny outside and I have lots of other, more interesting, things to do.

Plus my boss swanned out for lunch 3 hours ago and hasn't been seen since.

freshstart4us · 09/04/2015 16:26

Fleur am there with you. I have 15 work days left and just.cant.be.arsed.

Tee how COULD that evil person send chocolate to a pregnant woman a week in advance?!?! That's pure evil right there, and deserves punishment. As suggested, eat/deny/repeat. Grin
