Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Pm me and I'll add you!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/04/2015 23:06

God I'm sobbing away at obem tonight!

Fattycow · 08/04/2015 23:08

I wish OBEM was on here as well!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/04/2015 23:12

Do you have Netflix fatty? My sil in America watches it on there

RhiannonElward · 08/04/2015 23:34

OBEM is fab, I can't watch a birth without getting a lump in my throat, but I'm a few weeks behind due to the World's Most Ridiculous Sleepathon that was weeks 6-12. I'm catching up but having to do it when dp is in bed so he isn't weirded out by my emotional outbursts.

Pisghetti · 09/04/2015 00:03

That's a fab bump! And no stretch marks Envy

I'm really behind with OBEM. There's some serious overstyled eyebrows going on in this series though.

OP posts:
PixieChops · 09/04/2015 06:10

They've probably got vajazzles as well.

LaLaLaaaa · 09/04/2015 06:58

I am not finding the midwives as interesting as previous series. And yes there are some scary eyebrows!

Thought the 17 year old did really well!

The wanting pic of dad looking at you whilst giving birth freaked me out a bit. My dad's the last person I would want in delivery room!

Feeling rotten again but going to go into work. I'm meant to be having dinner with a friend tonight and I don't want to cancel but she's a boss at work so id have to cancel if I call sick.

Head is sore though :(

Did fitness class last night. One girl is stopping work today at 30 weeks. I'm 26+2 so it's starting to hit me I'm not far off...

LaLaLaaaa · 09/04/2015 07:23

Where is everyone this morning? I feel like lonesome George!

Jcandy · 09/04/2015 07:39

So I've been bunged up for the past few days, well that's completely changed just now Blush is this how it's going to be for the next 8 months??

LaLaLaaaa · 09/04/2015 07:40

Arse rain! Yes - one week arse rain, next constipated :)

daisyspice · 09/04/2015 07:41

Morning

I watched that last night the girl with the dad reminded me of someone in the programme brookside? The dad pic was a bit freaky but sweet in a way I suppose!

Aw that sucks ur not feeling great just take it easy at work Smile you'll be finishing up before u know it

Jcandy · 09/04/2015 07:46

Ah great! Something else to look forward to Hmm I'm sure there is going to be loads more things that I'm going to learn will happen........ Think I'll just ignore it all in post arse rain bliss for now Smile

DulcetMoans · 09/04/2015 07:48

I don't want to go to workkkk!!! It's not fairrrrrr!!! I've had such a nice couple of days off and now I can't be bothered.

The dad pic thing was weird, it's kind of nice but same as you la, wouldn't want him in the room normally anyway! Didn't one of the girls have tattooed eyebrows?

Yes, pooing is an adventure now JC. Could go either way. It's a gamble really!

LaLaLaaaa · 09/04/2015 07:53

It keeps you on your toes every day - will I be able to poo? Will there be too much poo? Will I almost accidentally poo myself whilst walking?

Also the swamp fanjo. Oh my god. I got through two liners a day.

Me and dh just had a changing bag conversation (yes at 7:50am). I showed him pic of a nice stripy changing bag I like. According to Mr La the changing bag 'needs to be unisex'.

Whaaaaat!? Surely having an unnecessarily nice changing bag is one of the only perks of changing babies? I've told him he can have the free boots one.

teejayem · 09/04/2015 07:54

I'm here! Just dropped Mr tee off at station and dealt with animals, having another hour in bed as it's horrid and foggy and I am a bit creaky this morning. That said I only got up four times to wee last night which is an improvement on my usual six, but I have wicked heartburn this morning, for a cup of tea. What the fuck.
I'm with you la, I just can't get on its this series of OBEM, it seems too polished? I preferred it when it was a bit more fly on the wall, and more warts and all. My favourite ever birth was Shelagh who was the lady who was working on her farm until the minute she went into labour, and her partner wasn't the dad, but was so lovely and got all teary when she was rushed in for a emcs with ga, and when the midwife told her she was in labour she just said 'far out' and carried on with her gas and air. Think it was series one...that said the facilities at Liverpool look amazing!!
Mr Tee is being very head in sand about the birth in general which is worrying me a bit. I'm making him come to see consultant with me next week, I think he thinks we'll just go in, I'll pop him out and we'll go home, and I might squash his hand. Don't get me wrong, he's been great getting stuff ready and organising and stuff. I was attempting to explain the stages of labour to him last night but he kept interrupting to say that it was bad design, and a bit crap it should hurt so much. And pulling faces when I mentioned placenta Hmm. I smell denial!, I think it's his fear of the unknown, and he's going to feel a bit helpless, but I'm trying to drill into him that I need him to be my advocate if I am too off my tits to articulate myself. (Last time I had g&a it took me forever to even string a sentence together), there are certain things I do and don't want (or would like to avoid) and I need him to understand what's happening. He is squeamish, but seriously, man the fuck up. I'm scared too, but you just get on with it!

Anyone else got early hay fever? I have horrible gritty eyes this morning.

Hope you feel better la :( rubbish you have to go to work, have a paracetamol maybe? I found 26-30 went really fast. Past the 30 mark it's dragging again......

WilHarlot · 09/04/2015 07:59

I never really got constipated. Arse rain all the way.

I hate that feeling Dulcet. Not that I'll have to worry about that ever again for a while. Hope it isn't as bad as you expect.

The majority of people I know have worked right up to about 38 weeks. 30 weeks seems really early

teejayem · 09/04/2015 08:01

Re: changing bag - we were bought a Bababing one (it has many, many labelled compartments) and Mr tee loves it. I really wanted a red spotty one but can't find one I like, plus the Cosatto came with a bag too, so we'll probably use those.
Ah, the poo lottery! Also, you won't poo out your baby. You will think you can, we've all had the fear, but you won't...
Semi perm eyebrows can look really good if done well....I don't think those were tho dulcet!!

WilHarlot · 09/04/2015 08:08

La MrWil just uses his own manbag if he goes out with child without me. No way he was getting an input into my changing bag.

Tee MrWil knew nothing about labour. Still doesn't know any actual facts even after being present twice. I don't think it really matters - obviously the bit about being an advocate for you does - but I don't think they really need to know what's going on. They just have to be supportive and do as they're told. I don't think biology is his strong point though. He asked me yesterday where girls pee comes out Confused .

gaggiagirl · 09/04/2015 08:18

tee Mr gaggia is all prepared to deliver this one himself, he fears nowt nature related.

mountaingirl01 · 09/04/2015 08:28

Damn, just wrote a post and my tablet decided to play silly buggers.

tee my dh knows a fair bit about birth (anaesthetist) but is still burying his head. I think he feels guilty and a bit helpless. Maybe try cath kidston for a red spotty bag? Does it have to be official 'changing bag'?

wil you would be amazed scared shitless how many student drs/nurses have no idea that women have 3 holes and try and catheterise people up the foof/clit the first time they try Shock

Don't think I have welcomed and. Congratulated JC! Nice to have you here. I've never had the are rain side of things just the bunged up ness.. I suggest you start drinking loads and loads of water!

la you have dedication, I can't believe you went to fitness class when feeling crap!

Jcandy · 09/04/2015 08:41

Thanks Tee the whole pushing the baby out mid poo thing had already crossed my mind but glad we've cleared that one up!

OK fanjo swamp........ I'm not sure I'm ready to know what that is yet!

I'll be interested to find out how my dp copes with the whole pregnancy thing, though don't think he'll complain too much about type of changing bag, he never normally has such opinions. Though he does like buying stuff!

teejayem · 09/04/2015 08:59

I saw this Olily bag ages ago and I luffs it. oilily.fashionstylist.com/oilily-fairy-village-baby-bag-multi-color-bags-and-luggage-17.html

They are stupidly rare and stupidly expensive though :( I'm not fussed about changing bag specifically. Just something nice I can fit all my crap in.

Thinking about it wil some ignorance might be bliss, he's a bit of a process person, some think if things start happening in the wrong order or timeframe it might get him in a right old pickle. Plus I always cringe SO HARD when you see men on the TV obem who talk about their OH's sweeps, cervixes and contractions like they fucking know what it feels like.
Clit catheter has me laughing and wincing at the same time mountain...

Ah swamp foof.. candy remember when you'd be excited by cervical mucus and run off to don your cape for some serious shagging? being upduffed = constant ridiculous CM. Your foof will be like a swamp. Echo the pantiliner advice. Get lots. Lots and lots.

The image I have for your OH is bare chested tribesman with war paint gaggia Does he have a spear?

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 09:02

I haven't been watching OBEM - too scared!

I am officially TIRED, so far this trimester I have been fine, sleeping well and have quite a bit of energy but I have hit the wall today and relented by having a full caffeinated coffee.

I have spoken to a local doula. My DH is not great with things like pain/ sympathy and is on board. BUT it's £650 and I am not sure I can warrant the money - this would be for two visits before the birth, the birth itself and 8 hours of aftercare (help with BF or just cooking and cleaning).

Our bathroom work is costing more than planned (doesn't it always) and we need a new car, which we have saved for.

We can afford it but I am loathe to "waste" money. What are your opinions?

Also, there is still a chance I will need a c- section because of my fibroid - in which case the doula would do more hours aftercare, could be useful? Esp. as my mum will be on holiday for 2 weeks around my due date.

Hmmm Confused

Fleurchamp · 09/04/2015 09:06

Plus on the poo chat, I think I have piles.

I bleed when I do a big jobbie. Sigh. No bunch of grapes though. Any good remedies I can try?

Although I will need to visit a chemist not near my home/ work as they know me in there Blush
