Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh I like that film too pixie, I keep meaning to post that clip. It's so true! There is no glow!

Thanks fatty, I guess I might as well bung them in.

My cats do not respect me la, DH is the discipline in this house! They know not to go upstairs or on the sides but seem to also know when he's away for a night and I just find the little one running down the stairs! No respect. Not sure what will happen with baby!

OBEM anyone?

Toast85 · 07/04/2015 21:32

Info evening was quite useful, nice to talk to people from a few organisations (hypnobirthing course, the local stand alone MLU which I am interested in but scared of as it's 30 mins from main hospital, dietician etc etc) and BONUS I won a pack of newborn size pampers!
I did see a colleague from work though! Oops! She's sworn to secrecy until I announce it properly.

Toast85 · 07/04/2015 21:37

My cat KNOWS she is actually another human, and in fact is more important than the rest of us. We get told off for not giving her attention and we get told off for giving her the wrong attention. Sometimes she just wants to sit on a lap but NO STROKING, other times she wants a full on baby-cradle-style cuddle ie lying on her back in my arms. She's such a diva, the most entertaining £70 we've ever spent!

PixieChops · 07/04/2015 21:37

My DP became slightly obsessed with OBEM after Id given birth. Now I'm pregnant again, not so much haha!
Watching Big Fat Gypsy goes to the Grand National. Their outfits are ridiculous. I don't even know how they fit in cars.

teejayem · 07/04/2015 21:39

Same here dulcet I am far too soft with the cats, although to be fair, only one (my bengal) is an absolute piss taker. Mr tee is a lot more strict than I am. I've got obem recording, I made him watch it with me last week and he started freaking out, although I keep saying he needs to bloody get on with it, his argument is that 'it's different when it's OUR baby'. I'll prob watch it tomorrow....
I have bought a family cherry pie and I've done half of it with a significant amount of ice cream. The baby made me do it. I've put on 9kg since being upduffed, I am beyond caring about my arse size tonight. (Although suspect will get serious regret in oooooh, about an hour)
I've washed some of my baby things, onky in a 15 min quick wash, but as I suspect I might return some of the nine million I love granny things mil has bought in poxy baby blue I've kept them unwashed and still in packets.
I've had two unsolicited bump rubs and both involved (hilariously) Mr tee intervening to say 'I REALLY wouldn't do that' while I had a resting hate face and my hand primed to karate chop the rubbee in the windpipe. Not had any since..
Think I paid £40 for my last pg massage, but I really didn't like laying on my side for it, but might be more to do with shit back discomfort. I had a lovely eve taylor facial with an Indian head massage the other week which was absolute bliss tho..
Hair cut tomorrow, no idea what to have done, altho I'll be asking about space Hooker pastel purple colour for a few weeks time. My mum will kill me, and Mr tee said 'careful, you want the hospital to take you seriously'. what.ever.

PixieChops · 07/04/2015 21:40

I can't join in with the animal sagas as I'm allergic to cats and in private rented accommodation that doesn't allow pets Hmm I really really want a dog but will have to wait until we get our own house and considering we have no money saved up and no lottery ticket im not holding out much hope!

PixieChops · 07/04/2015 21:47

Love the idea of pastel purple hair Tee! I say do it! You can always dye it back if you don't like it. I had mine done recently, just gone lighter brown at the moment with highlights, trying to get it back to my natural colour. Had my fringe cut back in too as I hadn't had one since I had all my hair cut off. Wanted it cutting back in last year but would've looked like a mushroom as my hair hadn't grown enough.

WilHarlot · 07/04/2015 21:49

Dulcet duvets after 12m of age. It depends on how hot it is I guess. MiniWil has a wool one which theoretically should keep her cool in summer and warm in winter. She hates her duvet though and still insists on wearing a sleeping bag.

I washed MiniWil's clothes but not extra stuff we got for Micro. I kind of assumed it was a pfb thing. She hasn't exploded yet.

I think sling is the generic term for all wraps and carriers but don't really know.

splodge77 · 07/04/2015 21:53

Apparently place I'm going to for massage has a hole & hammock in the table for your bump to rest in. I need one of these at hooooome! How are my fellow April due buddies holding up?! Last coupla months of this preg have gone so fast!

Purpleball · 07/04/2015 22:19

Oooh Tee I like the idea of purple hair too :-) I had magenta highlights last year but I just looked like I had a pink tinge. I'm back to out of the box Loreal black cherry or plum now anything to get rid of the grey and it's cheaper too Smile

Midwife tomorrow, I'm going to tell her how much the consultant upset me. Is there anything I should ask her? I can't think of anything. Still no heart scan appt appeared so I'm going to chase up - I might ask her who to phone Smile

We've probably got a girl name now, but no nearer on a boy won't need one as I'm convinced it's a girl DH needs to come up with some boys names

I also worked out how much holiday I'll have left and I think I'm going to request mat leave to start 2.5 weeks before I'm due, as it will most likely be 2 weeks early. I should have nearly 3 weeks holiday to take before that so hopefully will stop at 35 weeks which is mid August

RPopz · 07/04/2015 22:21

Why would the hospital not take you seriously with lilac hair tee??

I didn't wash miniPopz's new clothes because I'm a lazy bint and he's not exploded either. Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 07/04/2015 22:50

I think I washed one load of DD's clothes and couldn't be bothered with the rest. Aside from sleep issues, she's done alright so far. She also insisted on a grobag until she was 2. Duvet and pillow next to her in bed now Hmm

Think a sling is any kind of tie-up wrap/carrier...the rest be regular carriers?

No unsolicited bump rubbing in Belgium, they must be more restrained here. Lots of random big bump small bump comments though, still an even split on that front.

teejayem · 07/04/2015 23:01

God knows popz Personally I don't think the hospital will give a jot. I'm just another vagina after all.... He seems to have it in his head that you need to be somehow credible for the hospital to treat you. Because screaming 'give me all the drugs now, I'm going to give birth on your fucking feet' in 8 weeks time is apparently not the done thing. With purple hair.

deeplybaffled · 07/04/2015 23:40

tee - maybe the purple hair would help? I mean, if everyone is screaming for the drugs now, having a distinguishing feature like purple hair would make sure they didn't get you mixed up with someone else....?

WilHarlot · 08/04/2015 01:07

You want to dye your pubic hair purple to match Tee and surprise him on the day.

teejayem · 08/04/2015 02:13

It worked when I had my appendix out deply! I had bright magenta hair then. (I was 19 then tho) and Im sure the tea lady gave me extra biscuits as a novelty patient...

Vajazzles are v popular in the town nearby wil - I could go full diamanté with the purple....

teejayem · 08/04/2015 03:21

*deeply even.

3am cherry pie regret. Balls. Now wide awake wondering what my baby will look like, Mr tee making weird lip chewy noises and snuffling, cats wailing to be let in bedroom.

I really fancy a cream cheese bagel.

ZylaB · 08/04/2015 04:43

purple what's the name? :)

I didn't get a separate heart scan, they just checked it at 20 weeks along with everything else, maybe that's what's happening?

LaLaLaaaa · 08/04/2015 05:38

Definitely dye hair and foof to match tee - they'll not forget you in a while!

Scratchy throat and cough. Still not actually turned into anything - am I ill or am I not? Very sore headache though boo

Ate half Easter egg with dh permission. Can you believe the poxy thorntons egg didn't even come with chocolates? Just the egg! Bloody stingy bastards.

Need hair cut I look about 12 at the moment coz im having to disguise it by tying it up. Does last bit of pg go fast? I'm not enjoying this bit at all, I'm uncomfortable and sore.

I was going to wash clothes. Now I know I don't have to, woo!

Pisghetti · 08/04/2015 06:00

When you're in the midst of it, it crawls by La especially when you're uncomfortable. Then you look back and wonder how it went so quickly! Miss my bump (even though I'm loving having my wriggly baby here).

I've not washed anything bar some hand me downs with suspicious stains.

Ooh lilac foof! You must Tee!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/04/2015 07:31

Definitely ill now! Blocked nose and sore throat. Should I go to work or stay home? It's just a cold but I don't want to be that person who spreads it round work!

mountaingirl01 · 08/04/2015 08:04

Stay home la! Better to nip it in the bud and enjoy the sunshine
I would definitely give you more drugs if you dyed your foof purple tee please don't report me

DulcetMoans · 08/04/2015 08:14

Ok, well now you have to dye the foof tee, for all of us! What a surprise for everyone involved, and if it gets you extra biscuits even better!

Oh no toast! Did you know she was pregnant? At least you are so close to the scan now, are you planning to tell them next week? MLU is still on my mind, they told me ambulance was 8mins away, don't think it's 30mins from hospital, is it?

I forgot about the sleep bags wil and chat, thanks! I have a couple of them handed down too so that should do it.

Just one of the many reasons that thorntons egg was inferior to the Cadbury one la*. No wonder you feel ill! Seriously though, if you are going to sit at work feeling shit and possibly infect others I would say stay home. Can you do a bit at home if you feel a bit guilty?

RhiannonElward · 08/04/2015 08:30

Haha, I'm all for purple hair and ladygarden, do your underarms and legs as well and see what happens. I'd be giving you extra biscuits but thinking maybe I'd taken drugs instead of giving you any.

La, stay home! You've got an excuse for a lazy day in the sunshine if you don't take it you'd be mad.

I'm waiting for Sky to come and install a phone line, the annoying thing is he's been sitting outside in his van for 20 mins and I need a poo. Do I run the gauntlet? I know as soon as I commit I'll hear a knock and my son will answer the door and announce immediately and without provocation that Mammy is having a poo. Why is toileting so complicated?

Fleurchamp · 08/04/2015 08:30

Morning all!

la I would stay home. It's all about looking after yourself at this stage.

My house looks like a bomb site. New bathroom = dust everywhere and a bathtub in the living room. I am so fed up with coming home to a mess and the plumber turning up at 7.30am.
I leave home just after 6am to go to the gym to shower. I am shattered.
Plus the plumber has sacked his "mate" which means he is going to take longer to finish. Add to that, we live in a "quirky" victorian house and problems have meant it has already overrun.
If I had a home to go to I would consider staying home too!

Love the lilac foof-age. Do it!

I am finding it quite uncomfortable to sit at my desk all day, my poor back. I have ordered a Cantaloop band, GX it helps. I do find going for a walk or swim helps though and so I am popping out for regular turns around the block, the high heels may have to bite the dust this week though.
