Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 25th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet will be linked to by our stats hero La (can't do on iPad sorry!)

So, roll call below please, viroids!

That's good wil when DD was tiny they only started in big sizes I was gutted cos I adore all things aldi and lidl. Do lidl do nappies?
I love pampers but on offer plus coupons only, they are expensive.

Purpleball · 06/04/2015 22:21

I bought newborn nappies in Aldi a couple of weeks ago. Figured that it wouldn't harm to get some in while I'm still earning. I'll probably get another pack of newborn then size 2
I needed to top up my Boots order to get free delivery so I added some Johnsons baby bath and shampoo and a pack of pampers
then realised later I needed to use a voucher to get free changing bag and it's not automatically sent

LaLaLaaaa · 06/04/2015 22:26

Jojo maman bebe are good for trousers! And mamalicious in Asos.

Thanks for mattress and nappy help, my head is slowly unravelling and things are making sense now.

I've got non bio tesco baby for washing baby stuff- it's v cheap

LaLaLaaaa · 06/04/2015 22:31

Definitely recommend using boots baby club - just load up your advantage card with offers on app and use in store. I've saved so much money! Got the free change bag. Only annoying thing is sometimes the description of product is slightly off eg you're looking for 230ml bottle and it's 200ml in store. But minor annoyance!

LaLaLaaaa · 06/04/2015 22:37

My poor sil is going to be using naty. Should I warn her?

Pisghetti · 06/04/2015 22:45

Aldi do size 1 nappies (just about to open a pack) but they never seem to have the boxes of them in the baby event - maybe they sell out quickly. You can buy them by the pack all of the time though.

OP posts:
willywallace · 06/04/2015 22:46

What's naty?

I always meant to join the Boots club and somehow haven't managed it in 3 years. I'm so shit.

We're still using size 1 nappies Purple. They last up to 11lbs.

KatoPotato · 06/04/2015 22:58

I've been getting away with Primark £3 leggings in a size 14 and their 60 denier tights in XL.

I only have a few items of maternity wear, a lot of stretchy bodycon type dresses I had pre pg are now tops!

Pjs in size 18-20 from primark too are amazingly huge and comfy, and only £7

TheBooMonster · 06/04/2015 22:59

la you appear to have put the word 'sling' in the list... there is no such thing as only having one sling... for discovering slings means discovering sling groups... and sling raffle groups... and before you know it you're sitting on a pile of slings trying desperately to convince your DH that you didn't spend hundreds of pounds on bits of fabric... the list should definitely say 'slings' Grin

tee those women at the party sound like wankers, if they think the alcohol fuelled parties are the meaning of life I feel truly sorry for their tragic selves...

fatty with regards to breastfeeding I tend to wander out of the room, hitch the baby up and walk back into the room with a cardigan on to conveniently cover if we have family over because otherwise everyone freaks out like I don't realise I have flesh on how and starts trying to cover me with muslins and I was struggling not to laugh at them or if I'm feeling lazy I'll turn round and turn back, but I fed whilst giving everyone steely 'I dare you to suggest I need privacy' looks a few times within he first few days, whereas last time I timidly hid away and everything went wrong as soon as family leave I strip back down to a bra though, and I'm far less worried about whacking my boobs out in front of health visitors...

I'm all for the fourth trimester thing, DH is also in favour of it because it means less effort on his part Hmm wish I'd embraced it with DD1

we've got reusable nappies, but dD1 always seemed to leak through them perhaps I'm just shit and don't change them often enough now we have the two of them I think the reusables will see a lot more use because nappies are bloody expensive in the long run! Most of ours are MioSolo, with some from Facebook custom makers. I'm a bit bad at using them for a few days and then slipping out of the habit... oh. dear. god. I think there might be a month old half full nappy bin in the upstairs bathroom!!!

PixieChops · 07/04/2015 02:47

Ive always used reusable nappies. DD is usually in pampers, tried Aldi and Sainsburys and in my opinion they don't feel all that dry when you take them off, I'm wondering if that's why DD is waking in the night as she's feeling wet in the aldi ones as we still have some in her room.
Toast get massaging that perineum if you don't want to tear! There's loads of advice on how to do it properly online. I don't think it does help with pelvic floor however please whatever you do keep doing your exercises. I didn't and I regret it so much now, I literally piss myself whenever I so much as sneeze without thinking about having to hold everything in! I had an episiotomy, wasn't very nice but better than a tear.
Purple with regards to washing I do a load most days! I'm usually covered in food and bodily fluids by night time so I only get to wear clothes one time before they need to be washed! My DD is a bit of a messy eater too and therefore food usually goes bloody everywhere so I usually have to wash her clothes after one wash as well.
I've not bothered with maternity clothes this time and just stuck to clothes Id usually wear, leggings and vest tops with a shirt. I spent loads of money last time and then threw everything out afterwards as I hated it all. I don't like being pregnant so tend to hide bump as much as possible. I just never feel very attractive, I usually come out in weird red spots on my legs and arms, I get very dry skin which resembles a plucked chicken. It's just not nice, albeit this pregnancy isn't as bad as last time as I don't have the constant greasy hair like I did when pregnant with DD. DS seems to not ravage my looks as much!
I'm a bit of a nelly anyway and feel insecure with DP when pregnant too. He goes right off DTD when my bump gets to a certain circumference as he cant cope and doesn't really find it a turn on (hard pushed to find men that do really) but because we haven't been together that long I get upset about it and then wonder if he'd prefer to be someone else and then I end up looking at slim girls who aren't pregnant and wish for those days back! I was quite lucky in that I pinged straight back with my first and didn't have one stretch mark! I know I'm a bitch. But this time I may not be so lucky and I'm worrying about it. Daft I know but my self confidence used to be really good and it's gone to absolute dog shit over the last couple of years which is a shame as im guessing that one reason why DP was attracted to me in the first place was because I was happy in my own skin and couldn't care less about comparing myself to others. Think I made it worse when I had all my hair cut off in a weird frenzy in my first pregnancy. I went from having waist length hair to a Frankie cut overnight and it's only just about to start making its way back to my shoulders now. Sorry I sound like a right self obsessed drip!

willywallace · 07/04/2015 05:27

Haha Boo, surely it would smell by now?!

I think an episiotomy was worse than tearing Pixie.

batfish · 07/04/2015 06:25

Small hubby rant coming up....after my maternity jeans shopping trip last night I was feeling v fed up due to being the size of a house (and mostly not pregnancy related) and feeling like I look a mess. Had informed hubby of this. So before we went to bed I tried on my new jeans to show him and he says turn round
...usually he will say something nice like they fit well or are flattering or whatever. But he said 'all you need now are some boots with the fur' I.e apple bottom jeans from the song! Which of course means big arse! He then tried getting himself out of it saying that's not what he meant at all but he couldn't quite say what he did mean. Needless to say he didn't get any shagging last night as he had been hoping for and I went to sleep feeling even more whale like Angry Seriously what's so hard about saying you look lovely darling even if you don't mean it!!

LaLaLaaaa · 07/04/2015 07:31

Aww bat I'm sure you look lovely - silly man!

Kato - body con dresses as tops?!? How short are your dresses woman! Grin

I have to confess my mum went out and bought me a tonne of mat clothes and some of them are lovely but some are truly heinous!!!!!! I have a hideous jojo maman bebe dress that's pink purple with what looks like tulips. I put it on and looked like a weird freaky preggers doll.

Other stuff I have is lovely - so e stretchy tops that look nice with jeans and a lovely mamalicious dress I wear for going out to dinner.

But otherwise I'm just wearing leggings, stretchy pencil skirt and my usual tops stretched over bump. Tis getting too tight though so I'm going to have to start looking for alternatives.

I don't feel very well this morning. I've managed to avoid lurgy all through this pg so far, feeling quite smug about it. But ice woken up with sore throat, scratchy nose feeling and my stomach hurts. Going to get up and see how I feel. Hey at least I wasn't ill over long weekend!

Pixie I've seen your pic and you're beautiful! Your body is growing a baby - I struggle with being this size too but I try to remember it's functional and that it's not forever. I take so long to lose weight though, I'm dreading finding out how much of it I'll be left with after birth.

Boo I'm being ruthless! I have a caboo and I'm stopping there!

teejayem · 07/04/2015 07:41

bat do you want me to do a Jiffy bag for him? What a twat. I honestly think that the menfolk (sweeping generalisation) see the body changes in pregnancy as a huge hilarious novelty, they just don't get how invasive it all is and all the changes you get that you can't do anything about.

My favourite retort is 'fuck you, I'm growing a fucking human here.'

Fortunately Mr Tee knows better now, but it took a few weeks, esp when I was more bloat than bump, think it all comes back to the, being visual creatures, if they can't see it, they don't understand it. Still no excuse tho. I get at least 'you are SO fucking pregnant' from him at least once a day. Errrr, yeah I am!!

My poor bump still feels bruised where the little monkey has moved. I think he's gone from head in left rib and feet in right hip to head in right rib and feet in left hip.

Managed three consecutive hours sleep last night! I need to go and get something done to my nails, I don't know if anyone else here has them done too, but since I've been pg, the growth rate is just ludicrous. Might just go for a plain old natural look.

DulcetMoans · 07/04/2015 08:04

That was never going to go well for him bat, I hope you planned a suitable punishment. tee speciality would work but get it delivered to his work so you don't have to deal with if at home!

Most my mat clothes is from charity shops or eBay but don't have that much. I had a lot of fat girl clothes from before I lost weight so they came in handy. Have had to order some asda trousers/skirt though as last week was a disaster for work clothes!

Feeling any better la? Work from home maybe?

4th degree tear toast?! Don't read that! Why would the print that?! Don't think I've seen that one, or I deliberately ignored it! One day closer to scan day! Are you having the day off for it?

Ah, two extra days off! I like Easter. Going to try keep it low key and do some crafting stuff. Keep relaxed! Had a very fidgety baby the last couple of days. Not kicking so much as fully rolling around. Reassuring but sometime wonder what the hell is going on in there. (Obviously I know this means when it's knackered itself out and has a quiet day I will freak out!)

Purpleball · 07/04/2015 08:54

I'm lucky that MrPurple thinks my changing shape is great. He usually says something positive when I'm moaning about getting fatter who knew that would happen

The oranges worked Grin no poo trauma today Grin

All this talk of tears gives me the heebies

WilHarlot · 07/04/2015 08:58

Enjoy your day Dulcet!

Don't let it scare you Purple. It's stingy at the time but once they have put the magic painkiller up your bum it feels much better. Grin Recovery is quick although I haven't actually looked to see if I'm butchered.

WilHarlot · 07/04/2015 08:59

Oh, I namechanged in case it wasn't glaringly obvious...

DulcetMoans · 07/04/2015 09:30

Shock Change wil!? Change scares me!

Fleurchamp · 07/04/2015 10:35

Morning viroids!

Isn't it just great to be back in work Sad I find I just need to do 10 days' work in 8. Came in at 7.30am to start wading through my emails. The joy!

Also, first comment of the day was "someone has enjoyed their Easter eggs" I'm afraid I bit and replied that it's really not on commenting on my weight and the woman CRIED.

I am now the office bitch, because she was "only being friendly".

I am so over working Angry

KatoPotato · 07/04/2015 10:44

She cried?! WTF?

I had a right go at our head housekeeper for imitating what can only be described as a gorilla carrying two beach balls, shouting 'here she comes!'

Fleurchamp · 07/04/2015 11:10

OMG kato that's awful!

I know, thing is, she is a lovely woman usually and I do think, deep down, she is just showing an interest but it's the comments I get every day. Some are nice "you're blooming" but the majority are a dig at my weight.

Even my MIL made a comment about me being huge yesterday and she is normally so careful not to offend me. So I pointed out some dirt in the spare bedroom Grin she has OCD re cleaning - so I went for the jugular Grin

Am going to do a prison style count down on my calendar for number of working days left.

LaLaLaaaa · 07/04/2015 11:31

57 days left at work and 10 more Mondays!

Cheeky cunts both of them fleur and kato. Think you're absolutely in your rights to tell them to bog off

KatoPotato · 07/04/2015 11:35

Oh, 'Looking SWELL!' is another favourite here...

I hear you on the prison style tally marks!

KatoPotato · 07/04/2015 11:38

Four full days left - Friday, Mon, Tues and Friday.

Monday 20th I have MW in the morning, then Tuesday I'm hoping they'll let me leave early.

I have not put on weight anywhere except for my big long bump! - But no, I'm still a circus freak apparently. Today I'm wearing a non-maternity Size 12 stretch cotton dress FFS?
