Already worrying (slightly) about reduced movements, only 21wks! Felt so much from 15wks up until Sunday, now not very much at all. Hate worrying unnecessarily, realise 21wks is still so very early but dropped so much :-( dont want to waste mw's time but aanim due a BP check soon anyway mat give them a call..... anyone else think im mental?! I do! Lol

Mrseb28 · 28/04/2015 09:18

Loves my cake in the same hated being pregnant first time wen I didn't have to run after a toddler! I feel awful wen people say ooo enjoy being pregnant etc but also feel sad that I probly won't bave another after this and I havnt enjoyed being pregnant for either! Glad in not the only one - don't feel so weired now. Winkx

Mrseb28 · 28/04/2015 09:20

Aww cornberry in the same been of on sick now for 6 weeks I think that also makes it worse and isolating! No one to talk to and just feeling miserable. Have you tried sickness bands etc that's the only thing that got me through my sickness. Total empathise with you xx

Mrseb28 · 28/04/2015 09:25

Ps sorry for repeated posts I still can't get used to This online thing. But is anyone else wearing a support band I bought one from mothercare (in large for sizes 16-18) I'm a 14 and find it a lot of pressure on my lower tummy. Just wondered if it's suppose to feel like that? Or if I'm wearing it wrong? X

Choccyhobnob · 28/04/2015 09:44

monkeymoonpig I feel exactly the same! Between 15-18+4 I felt loads of movement then almost nothing for last 10 days no matter how much ice water and laying on my side I do! I gave in and contacted the midwife today who said it's all perfectly normal not to feel anything regular until 25-28 weeks!!

Doesn't stop me wishing my little wriggler was back though Sad

20+0

Cornberry · 28/04/2015 09:48

Yes tried sickness bands, tried everything. Sigh :(

choccyhobnob id love the constant wriggling back as well :-/ mw was lovely and said they'd just had a cancellation at lunch time so will pop by for listen to heartbeat and BP check. I'm determined not to be a stresshead this time round, desperately need to keep BP down so i can give birth at MLU rather than consultant led. Typically I've felt movements since calling!

Choccyhobnob · 28/04/2015 10:45

Ahh I jealous, imagine 10 days without it and another 2 weeks until my scan!

monkeymoonpig · 28/04/2015 11:22

choccyhobnob my scan on Friday showed babba was REALLY low down, so im assuming that is a reason why....mw also said it depends on which way baby is facing. They're very good at worrying us! Im sure your baby will suddenly decide to change position and you'll not get any peace :) x

Boodlymummy · 28/04/2015 11:32

Anyone else losing motivation and interest at work already? Just feels irrelevant now, want to be home nesting and looking after myself. Roll on mat leave in 21 weeks! Counting down the days on a calendar above my desk. I'm working right up to due date in theory, though obv will go early if I need to or baby arrives.

Treaclepie19 · 28/04/2015 12:11

Anyone else still not really feeling anything?
Getting quite paranoid now!

We need a new thread soon.

Ive lost motivation at work but mostly because I'm so bloody tired! Wow I'm impressed you are going to work until your due date. Here you have to take three weeks of your maternity before the due date. I'm also going on holiday for three weeks in mid june. Then back at work for three weeks then maternity leave :)

Bollocks to enjoying pregnancy!! I have a friend who is 18 weeks and ran a mountain race at the weekend? supposed to do 7 mountains but she only managed 4 because she's pregnant. I am of course very pleased for her but there might have been some choice words said about it to DH when I spent the day throwing up and napping :)

Choccyhobnob · 28/04/2015 12:37

I would be less paranoid treacle if I hadn't felt anything at all yet it's the fact I was and now don't that worries me! If you haven't felt much at all yet then I think that's perfectly normal!

monkey yes when I had a scan at 18+4 he was upside down facing my back so I guess he could still be facing that way or some other awkward way!

Choccyhobnob · 28/04/2015 12:37

Taken us over a month to fill this one though! We've definitely slowed down on the chat lol

mrsdos · 28/04/2015 13:48

I have a complete lack of motivation today. Mainly due to going to a Ben Howard gig last night and getting home late! Had a quick count up of weeks left at work today and I think its about 10. Planning on 2 weeks of annual leave then start maternity leave 2 weeks before Potato is due, this seemed the perfect idea as dh is a teacher and will be on holiday Smile then mil spoilt it a by buying a house that needs loads of work and expects him to do it! Angry

monkeymoonpig · 28/04/2015 13:59

All fine at MW, she had to sneak me past boss as apparently they shouldn't listen to heartbeat until 25wks lol.....babba must have been hiding away :) will hold off until 25wk home visit now promise

Snowflake15 · 28/04/2015 14:00

treacle I haven't felt anything yet eitherSad 18+5 and getting paranoid, scan a week tomorrow thank god! I think I might even have told work this week if I had movement but I'm so worried something might be up I'm definitely waiting til after scan

misssmilla1 · 28/04/2015 14:03

treacle I'm at 19weeks and haven't really felt anything either apart from what I assume is gas (tmi..) the OH is convinced but I think it's wishful thinking!

boodly yep, I'm with you. Just got back after 2 weeks holiday and it all seems so very pointless! We're going through a big re-org so there's no money to do new projects which means there's not much for me to do. Boss has told me to make the most of it, but tbh, I hate being bored! I'm also working right up until my due date as I get naff all leave; my plan is to work from home the last couple of weeks, there's no way I want to go in to labour on the commute in Shock

monkeymoonpig · 28/04/2015 14:04

Mat leave - im planning wk holiday before EDD tho keeping some hols saved incase im noodled towards the end. Would love tp have more time off with DS before new arrival but as it looks like im only going to be able to have 4mths off before returning full time, i need to keep them for post natal. Really hope babba isnt 11 days over like their brother was!

DeladionInch · 28/04/2015 15:03

my mat cover is having an operation with a 12 week recovery time 13 weeks before my edd so I'll be taking it right to the wire

good job I work 6 hours a week over 2 evenings, 10 minutes from home Shock Grin

Maths88 · 28/04/2015 15:21

Just had 20 week scan and everything looked great - it's amazing the detail they go into! Such a relief!

Treacle and snowflake, yesterday was the first time I've felt anything and I'm 20+3 so I wouldn't worry at all - obviously much easier said than done! Do you know where your placenta is because mines anterior so movements not going to be as clear early on.

Blood pressure slightly down so that's good. Got another scan at 24 weeks - not really sure why - and GTT at 25 weeks - not looking forward to that - anyone else having one?

Mrseb28 · 28/04/2015 15:31

lovesmycake that made me chuckle. Mountain race? I can't even do the shopping at the min! Ha

I have had a few flutters but can't figure out if it's baby(I can't remember what it felt like last time)

I havnt thought about when to start maternity leave as yet. Probly because I'm not at work! Due back middle of May but dreading it. I get a lot of holidays though so hopjng to put a few weeks in before mat leave starts. I also have DS starting nursery school in September so want to be off to be able to take him. Going to be a difficult month! X

ditzzy · 28/04/2015 15:37

Maths - I've got a GTT booked at 26 weeks (and extra scan for placenta position at 32). They said the GTT was just due to my age.... Not looking forward to it either!!! It's booked for 0930, I'm usually starving for brekkie by 7 Grin

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 28/04/2015 15:52

I had GTT last time Maths and will again this time although later than 25 weeks, mine's not til June. The drink is pretty rank but other than that it's painless!
