I haven't felt anything definite either!

Is anyone else still getting the sneezing pain?
I just sneezed and thought one of my organs had been torn out.
So, so painful.

Yes treacle, it's prob your ligaments. It helps if you gently hold the area, herb coughing or sneezing.

Anomaly scan in the morning, so nervous.

Not finding out same with ds

monkeymoonpig · 22/04/2015 06:28

DP not interested in knowing but i must admit to being a little curiou.....it was lovely being a surprise with DS so more than happy to wait again :-D

Excitingtimesahead · 22/04/2015 07:01

Scan this morning, I'm so scared

Mrseb28 · 22/04/2015 07:18

Congrats to all those who have had their scans!
Good luck excitingtimes I'm sure all will be fine. I also get very nervous before scans.

I'm loving the mix of finding out gender and not. I thought there would be more who would find out! I have had a few flutters but nothing definite as yet.
Treacle I also have the sneeze pain but attributed that to my back problems, my ds has taken to laughing at me when I sneeze as it's such an event.
Anyone else used to sleeping on their tummy. I'm struggling to adjust not to again! Confused
I can't wait to get my 20 week scan done then I can start buying Smile

Whatabout · 22/04/2015 09:13

My phone doesn't like loading the thread at the moment so I'm well behind!

I have my scan on Monday, very nervous about it but I know that there is no benefit in worrying. We will find out sex, but last time they were wrong. If they say girl again this time I want lots of proof!

Soontobemummyto5 · 22/04/2015 09:19

My scans Monday too whatabout and with ds2 they'd said he was a girl and got it wrong so we had a private scan at 16wks which said girl and I will def be asking again on Monday.

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 22/04/2015 09:55

I had my 20 week scan on Monday and everything looked nice and healthy.
We didn't find out the sex either but I was tempted so a nice surprise for us to come.
everyone seems to be thinking im having a boy tho which I cant quite believe as I come from a family of all girls and, my great gran had girls, my gran had 3 girls my mum had 2 girls my aunties had girls my sister has 2 girls, I also have a DD. a boy would be a HUGE shock but a very welcome one.

londonliv · 22/04/2015 09:58

thanks guys - it's my first so I'm a little clueless. Some people seem to talk about kicking at 17 weeks so I've been getting a little anxious about the lack of action!
banterbus my scan is the same day as yours! Am going away tomorrow for a week so I'm going to try not to think of it in the meantime & enjoy the holiday. I'm guessing there's not much I can really do about it at the moment anyway...

Choccyhobnob · 22/04/2015 10:00

Oh yes the sneeze pain! I always hold my stomach before I sneeze. I can' stop worrying about movements too, felt them every other day between about 16-18 weeks, then nothing for about 3 days, then loads of movement Saturday after my scan and nothing since Sad 19+1

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 22/04/2015 11:04

Im 20+1 with No2 and movement is still sporadic. can go all day feeling nothing then get a few kicks at night.
Had a few this morning tho but it will probably quiten down now until tonight!
Im sure I was feeling more at this point with my DD but scan showed all is well and placenta is posterior, I think I just have a very chilled out baby like his/her daddy!

Excitingtimesahead · 22/04/2015 18:08

Scan went well this morning everything where it should be SmileGrin

We are still firmly team ??

sauvblanc21 · 22/04/2015 18:57

londonliv, banterbus & treacle - not feeling any movements yet over here either but staying calm as have friends who didn't feel anything until 19-20 weeks or beyond! I'm 17+4 so reckon it could be a couple of weeks yet! I have, however, popped right out and had lots of students staring at my belly with the braver ones actually saying "I hope I'm not being rude Miss but are you having a baby?" The secret is well and truly out!

Treacle yes to sneeze pain - 10 seconds of sheer agony every time! I've taken to curling my knees up and holding stomach if I can do it in time before the sneeze comes!

We're Team Yellow too (i.e. not planning to find out gender!) Xx

sauvblanc21 · 22/04/2015 18:58

Congrats excitingtimes and to all other lovely scan news Grin

Snowflake15 · 23/04/2015 09:11

Has anyone elses appetite gone through the roof? I always said I would eat healthy in pregnancy but I am just SO hungry all the time! And its costing an arm and a leg!

mspfan · 23/04/2015 10:05

Not been on in a few days so thanks to midnight and cornberry. Am still undecided whether to go to glasto or not, if I do it'll be my 7th time!

Glad to hear everyone's scans are going well. We've not got ours until 15 May and time certainly seems to be dragging! Am hoping to find out the sex, I have a feeling it's going to be a boy as 90% of my friends have had a boy first, including 8 last year!

snowflake I'm the same, thinking I'm making up for lost time as didn't really eat much during my first trimester! Am trying my best not too eat too much, although not always succeeding!

bonzo77 · 23/04/2015 12:28

snowflake I cannot stop eating. Starving all the time. It's actually quite debilitating!

Bippidee · 23/04/2015 12:40

I am eating crap crap crap food. I'm craving sugar as I need energy. (Toddler with no off button, anyone?) so far today I have consumed two slices of toast, a handful (ok, 3) of pink shrimp sweets and half an apple.

lovesmycake · 23/04/2015 12:45

My friend is in hospital with an ectopic pregnancy, going into surgery. Very sad, feel helpless :(

londonliv · 23/04/2015 13:08

snowflake same here. I'm absolutely ravenous! My current obsession is with pret's chocolate chip cookies!

Excitingtimesahead · 23/04/2015 14:49

Cake, that's awful. Hope she is ok x

monkeymoonpig · 23/04/2015 15:44

bippidee sympathise with the hyperactive toddler, esp now weather is nice so wants to spend all time in garden. Which is fine but having to constantly tell him to stop bashing the trees/strawberries/raspberry canes/hedge, stop trying to take the washing line out etc.....! Such fun! We currently have FiL staying as he hasxa fractured ankle. Not too demanding (tho he'll be told to stop the crap/offensive jokes if i hear one more grrrr) but it does mean DS has lost his playroom - the conservatory, which we've had to turn into a bedroom/living room for FiL. So DS is bouncing around a smaller space!

Jessica32 · 24/04/2015 08:26

Hi all, been wondering sauvblanc and anyone else in the Bristol area whether you fancy a coffee somewhere sometime? No probs if not, just thought I'd suggest.

bonzo77 · 24/04/2015 09:09
