just hope it's labour for you! leanne your friend sounds like an idiot. Are they staying with you? I couldn't bear house guests with a baby. I'm feeling very territorial.
Charlie is up feeding so I'm trying not to fall asleep. Zzzzzz

Justyouwaitandsee · 26/04/2015 05:44

Nope - not yet! The pains / BH seem to be getting stronger each night but going by morning. Hopefully it is all building up to the real thing though!

Any encouraging signs for anyone else?

shinyhappyone · 26/04/2015 06:29

Apologies for long absence. Been trying to catch up on here but it's pretty fast moving. Loving the new baby pics on Facebook. Can't believe some mayster babies are here!

Leanne, I think you should hide a baby monitor in your friends room when she stays. Every time baby wakes, she can wake too and get a sense of the exhaustion. I challenge her to want to do all her sightseeing then! Be strong with her and do what's best for you and your lo.

Just - am with you on the fannydaggers. Christ, they're uncomfortable!

Ginger - I too am slightly obsessed with what I might find every time I go for a wee! Never has gunky yuckyness been so eagerly anticipated. This becoming a mum malarkey makes you crazy in many ways!

Tits- Olivia sounds just gorgeous and I'm sure her angel kisses will disappear. Big squeezes to her.

Have a good Sunday everyone. I wonder what the next week will bring us! xx

applecore0317 · 26/04/2015 07:00

It still could be a good sign ginger, my friend had her show a week before she went into labour, fingers crossed for you! and for you just :)

Am only 35+4 but just have a feeling that I won't get to 38 weeks, weird

Hi Shiney and Turquoise

Had my leaving do last night, enjoyed it apart from sudden onset of an iffy tummy Hmm Work got me a fifty pound voucher for Milton Keynes shopping centre, completelyunexpected! Hoping to use it to buy a baby sling :)

bradders85 · 26/04/2015 08:17

Good morning, the sun is back out and shining here! Smile

just have your BH eased off again this morning?

apple pleased you enjoyed last night and enjoy spending your vouchers! Grin

I was up early again so have been bouncing on my ball and catching up on tv! Had a bit more of a show this morning too but no twinges! sweep number 3 tomorrow!! everyone saying I must be having a boy!!
hope you all have a lovely Sunday Smile

leanne963 · 26/04/2015 09:28

apple nope she doesn't have kids, I'm the same as you....ftm but I know it is gonna be exhausting!! I also know what you mean about not getting to 38 weeks. I am 36 weeks today and I have a gut feeling I won't make my due date lol

ginger you are right I am just gonna have to put us first! Even though it's really early she was originally gonna come out first week of June when I would have a week old baby! :/

just are you getting an increase in fanny daggers?! I am getting them all the time now and partner thinks everything in go 'ow' is a sign I'm in labour ha!

turquoise just staying with us for 5 nights! I tried to say how it's not gonna be fun for either of us and that they might prefer to stay with family instead but they said they don't want to be a burden by staying with her grandparents and plus she wants to 'help out and make things easier by getting up to feed if she needs feeding' but I don't know how that'll work if I'm bf'ing.

shiny haha good idea!! ;) oh yeah the toilet trips are becoming a fun little guessing game....oooh will there be a show?!? Haha

Oh bradders keep bouncing :) hope the third sweep is third time lucky and baby arrives soon!! Catching up on anything interesting on TV??

Justyouwaitandsee · 26/04/2015 10:04

Morning everyone!

Oh bradders - your plaintive "still bouncing" makes my heart go out to you. Can't believe how long you've been trying to bring on labour now! Can you remind me why they wanted to bring it on? Do they have a plan for induction if the final sweep doesn't kick things off?

Apple - sounds like you have lovely colleagues. Mine have been brilliant too. They are so excited about the baby coming and have kept in touch enough to know I am missed, without too much to make me feel pressure about being away. Do you live near MK? That is a really quick and easy train journey for me. Could perhaps arrange a meet up one day if you fancy it?

Shiny / Leanne - yup, fanny daggers definitely increasing and getting stronger over the last couple of nights but yup, gone by morning. leanne - my DH is the same, jumping at every 'ow!' Grin

The bathroom is nearly, nearly finished. My dad came down and helped fit the wall cabinets and the sink yesterday. It looks amazing and we now have fully functional toilet, sink and bath - but when DH turned the boiler back on last night it refused to fire up. Why is home ownership always one thing after another?!?! Luckily we have an immersion back up for hot water but still a pain as will have to get someone in to get the boiler fixed.

leanne - I think the idea of hising a baby monitor in your friends bedroom is an excellent one! Can't believe she is being so insistent!

bradders85 · 26/04/2015 10:15

Leanne I've had loads of recordings I hadn't watched so I've caught up with the casual vacancy and this morning watched a documentary about Paula radcliffe before the marathon build up!

just they wanted to bring me on a bit earlier as baby is apparently big and wanted to avoid risk of baby getting stuck Shock. sweep 3 tomorrow and if nothing happens I'm booked in for induction on Friday! would hope to avoid that but the way it's going I can see them having to pull this baby out!! Obviously too snug in there! Wink.

leanne963 · 26/04/2015 10:25

Just DP said that the code word for my waters breaking or when i think i am going into labour is 'Niagara Falls' haha! Ah glad the bathroom is all fitted but it is so typical that the boiler is now refusing to work!! Hope it gets fixed soon! Renting isn't fun either, landlord is non existent so nothing gets done!

Bradders Oooh sounds good :) I am thinking a film or two might be a good idea today as the weather isn't that great here at the moment! Well good luck tomorrow, you obviously are a very comfy host ;)
