leanne963 · 23/04/2015 15:34

I absolutely LOVE all the babies arriving. I genuinely thought this day would never come! I was in Mcdonalds earlier getting a Mcflurry and the lady serving me was like 'Id this for you or the baby?' And I said 'oh 100% for the baby' and she ended up telling me she was 26 weeks and asked how far along I was and I said that I was nearly 36 weeks. I just could t believe that I was more pregnant than someone else, I know that sounds weird but after having MC at 11 weeks and then getting pregnant again and starting the countdown again, I feel like the first trimester is so familiar and that the last few weeks were a distant wish! Now we are all here!!! Ahhh I am so excited!!

Justyouwaitandsee · 23/04/2015 16:04

Congratulations jessie - those pictures are beautiful. Your little girl looks so proud to be holding her little sister! Am thinking of you all. So pleased everything went smoothly x Flowers x

Scottishgal78 · 23/04/2015 16:26

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/04/2015 16:41

Congrats jessie great news. Photos are lovely. Gorgeous baby girl.

leanne your more than allowed to be excited especially as it's been a long journey for u, only a few more weeks and you'll have your lo!

Great to hear Leo is doing well mum do add some recent pics when u can.

blondie I had mw app on Tuesday at 36+5 and she told me baby is engaged and that's a 'definite head' when she felt for it, made me wince slightly lol!

jenni had to giggle at your wobbliness!

37 weeks today so officially fully term! Can't believe there's so many of you that are nearly 40 weeks now and more babies due next week! Times flying! Grin

LinaDee · 23/04/2015 17:01

Congratulations Jessie - such lovely news!!! Smile

Bazza2 · 23/04/2015 18:30

Congratulations jessie, she is a beauty.

SmileyScooby · 23/04/2015 19:28

just glad appt went ok, I haven't got much faith in the bump measurements at the mo as 2 weeks ago when was 35w mw measured 38cm...had appt at hospital as follow up and they measured 38cm but I was 36w then...which kind of annoyed me as technically didn't need to be there as back in the 2cm tolerance!! As long as baby seems healthy that's all that matters :)

jenni that did make me chuckle, hope you weren't stuck on the bench too long!!

Jessie congratulations!!

Leanne glad pains have gone away

mum yay go Leo! Hope he continues to progress well.

sunshine congrats on 37w! I too can't believe how many babies are due soon!!

jessiesw · 23/04/2015 19:42

Thank you ladies! We have decided on a name - she is called Iris Josephine. We were debating between Iris & Erin but Iris just seems right for her. Josephine honors her older brother, whose middle name was Joseph. (He was Colin Joseph). Older sister Ava is smitten with her, she doesn't want to put her down, bless her x

Justyouwaitandsee · 23/04/2015 20:05

Beautiful name for a beautiful baby. I am sure Colin is watching over you all, and just as proud as Ava xxx

Scottishgal78 · 23/04/2015 20:13

Aw jessie I love the name!

KittyVonCatsington · 23/04/2015 20:37

Congratulations jessie great name

I totally understand what you mean
leanne - when you go through early loses it can sometimes feel like the first trimester never ends but to get to the third trimester is truly a blessing. Can't wait to meet our little ones!!

Yay for full term Sunshine!!!

Funds Height measurements with a tape measure are such an inexact science that I have long since stopped paying attention to them Smiley!

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/04/2015 20:45

I agree with kitty smily at 33 weeks I was measuring 30 then at 35 weeks was measuring back at 35?? But they said it was nothing to be concerned about as long as your within the graph lines and not to far either way!

Lovely name jessie

leanne963 · 23/04/2015 20:54

Jessie That is such a gorgeous name :) It is lovely to have a middle name that means so much to you, she is a lucky little girl :)

Thanks for understanding what i was trying to say haha Kitty I feel like all my Christmases and Birthdays are coming at once lol!

Chookford · 23/04/2015 21:44

jessie beautiful name.. Hope you are enjoying your bewborn snuggles!

Chookford · 23/04/2015 21:44

Jenni2legs · 23/04/2015 22:18

Well done Jessie lovely name and the meaning behind it is beautiful.

Turquoisetamborine · 24/04/2015 06:07

jessie congratulations! Sure your son is over the moon with the new baby! Well done.
leanne yes you really are at the end of the third trimester! You can believe it's going to happen now.
I am still in hospital with little man as his blood sugars were low until my milk comes in. He's been having formula too ups by cup but hasn't had one since yesterday and I breastfed him all night and his blood sugars were normal so hope I can go home today. Can't wait to be out of here!
