I have the Christmas gift set, the pudding sleepsuits, the reindeer romper and the snowman sleepsuit which is actually a thick fleecey pramsuit. I also have the snowman booties and reindeer booties on the 2nd page of the 2nd link.

I'm more concerned about Halloween outfits - they were the very first baby thing I searched for on the Internet!

gingerbreadmam · 06/05/2015 16:56

ooh yes halloween outfits are fab think i quite fancy a little pumpkin for mine Smile

mountainofdreams · 06/05/2015 17:03

Ooh some lovely clothes. I cannot wait until I find out in just over a week. Then I'm planning on starting clothes shopping mainly traditional style! Smile

gingerbreadmam · 06/05/2015 17:06

i have a confession, whilst finding you ladies the links i ended up looking at everything in the clearance part and bought the boys patchwork cardigan and boys navy padded pramsuit Confused

hopefully will still be in return period after 20wk scan incase my feelings its a boy are completely wrong.

mountainofdreams · 06/05/2015 17:15

Aww that's cute gingerbread ! I'm dying to buy bloomers, pram shoes and smocked dresses but holding my horses for another nine days!! Smile

Ca55andraMortmain · 06/05/2015 18:59

Erm... stupid question alert, but what's a bath support?!
That's so funny gingerbread, I'm convinced I'm having a boy as well and DH had to drag me away from the boys clothes at the weekend as we have 3 weeks to go before we find out the sex!

mountainofdreams · 06/05/2015 19:12

Hi ca55andra a bath support is just a separate piece of equipment which goes in to the bath and that baby can lie on so you don't have to support them as much during bathing.
Some people find it easier than holding and supporting baby completely during bathing perhaps because of back problems, mobility problems, size of parent etc.
Some simply just feel more at ease using one as you might feel nervous that baby will slip or slide if you're juggling everything yourself!
I'm buying the angelcare one to use in our regular bath as I am quite short and might feel nervous of letting baby slip as I will have to bend a bit during bathing.

gingerbreadmam · 06/05/2015 19:30

bath supports go in your actual bath most of the time too taking away the need for a baby bath which in my eyes just looks like hard work.

if you go on youtube and type in angelcare bath it will show you how that particular one works but theyre all based on the same theory i think.

ooh 3 weeks bet you cant wait. any particular reason you think boy? have you had a go at nub and skull theory on your dating scan lol?

my colleagues made me do a chinese gender prediction as it worked for them that said boy Grin

Ca55andraMortmain · 06/05/2015 20:44

Oh thanks! So glad I have you all to keep me informed!! I haven't tried any of the different theories for gender prediction but have had 2 dreams that it's a boy, so that's pretty much a guarantee Hmm What's involved in a Chinese gender prediction?!

gingerbreadmam · 06/05/2015 20:57

just a web link where you enter a couple of dates then voila!

mine is based purely on feeling, backed up by the gender ratio on my side of the family and the fact this pregnancy so far has been very easy. its my first dc so nothing else really to compare to but still!

Nutellalover14 · 07/05/2015 07:51

Hello, Just checking in. Everyone is buying loads of things, i feel like i should get my bum into gear, only just passed 15 weeks, so still plenty of time. Though i dont know whats wrong with me, i always love a good excuse to go shopping Grin So far i have got One sleep suit/ Grow, One vest, and a pack of 5 Long Sleeve Vests. Though the way my mum is going i'll not need anything! Lol.

I have a feeling am having a boy, but were not finding out, so a loooong wait for me. Everyone else seems to think it's going to be a girl. Girl clothes are super cute though. I'll be happy if he/she comes out healthy. Smile

Does anyone else go through stages just now not feeling pregnant? When am having a good day (no sickness etc) i just don't feel pregnant Hmm I have a small bump, which i can hide easily enough if i tried, which reminds me, lol.

mountainofdreams · 07/05/2015 08:21

Nutella I definitely go through stages of not feeling pregnant!
I'm 19 weeks today and I can feel and tell I'm pregnant but it's easy to hide from others as I'm still a size 8.
Kind of wish my bump was more obvious!
It's reassuring to hear my babys heartbeat with my doppler as at least I know something is in there! Twenty week scan next week!

gingerbreadmam · 07/05/2015 08:34

i dont feel pregnant most days until i look down. i suffer in the night with what i have discovered is called iband syndrome and sometimes if i stand up too quick my muscles really pull down there. other than that i tend to feel great and not pregnant at all.

i am however starting to experience, and im going for a keith lemon expression here so apologies but shooty bum but in the vaj instead of the bum haha. tmi i know but seen as tho ive shared anyone else?

feel like ive peed myself a lot too Blush grim!

sarkymare · 07/05/2015 09:24

Hello! I feel like I'm ready to come back to this thread now I'm 16+6 and had my first scan Smile

ginger I think the MN equivalent of shooty vag pain is fanny daggers Wink

gingerbreadmam · 07/05/2015 10:13

how did the scan go sarky?

ahhh fanny daggers yep been having them the last few days. all these things i thought would come much further on ha!

Stinkersmum · 07/05/2015 13:14

17+2 here and still not bought a thing. Desperately wishing the time away to my 20 week scan so I can relax. I don't want to know the sex (although my Dr knows) but after my niece had the devastating news at her 20 week scan a few years ago that her baby had HLHS which led to termination at 22 weeks, it's all I can think about.

gingerbreadmam · 07/05/2015 13:46

so sad about your niece stinkers can understand your fears.

not long now until your 20 week scan and hopefully you will then start to relax.

i just love shopping and buying things keeps me feeling positive. i tell myself as long as i dont do any major buying yet i feel like if anything happens then i havent lost a lot and at least i got pleasure from the little things i did get.

Stinkersmum · 07/05/2015 14:06

Thanks ginger. I guess it's very pessimistic and miserable of me but when I hear someone talk about a sexing scan it makes me so cross. Because it's not, it's so much more important than that.

gingerbreadmam · 07/05/2015 14:13

not really, when youve been touched by tragedy it makes you very aware that these things can happen.

i am the same as i recently went through an mmc before this pregnancy so i kind of have to push myself into being optimistic and planning like everything will be fine.

i know the next scan is for checking and im petrified of it but finding out the sex for me is the silver lining. i dont like scans, never had a good one yet!

Stinkersmum · 07/05/2015 14:18

All mine have been great. I've had 3 so far. I feel so lucky. It took a while to conceive and I've felt generally rubbish all the way through my pregnancy so far but so far so good. I think I panic it's all too good to be true. I think I need to get a bit more cheery and positive! I honestly don't want to bring the thread down Blush.

gingerbreadmam · 07/05/2015 15:27

oh no dont worry stinkers your not how is your pregnancy now? are things easing up a little on you?

glad everything is going well so far im sure your in for great news at your 20 week scan. not long to wait now!

my scans this time have been for silly reasons obv baby is ok and thats the main thing just had to have 2 with the mmc where i knew they wouldnt be good then had a bleed this pregnancy and feared the worst so dreaded that one. dating scan baby wouldnt get in right position, sonographer wouldnt confirm everything was ok so dp hit the roof (due to his anxiety frm the mmc) and we had to return 3 days later which fortunately was ok but due to dps behaviour at the previous one i was dreading it. now have 20wks to look forward to and urm yeah im just anxious ha!

Stinkersmum · 07/05/2015 17:37

I feel uncomfortable a lot but it's more than manageable. Bump is quite pronounced now and we've just last week relocated for DHs work which has been a bit stressful although it's a good move, better house etc so not all bad. The house is sorted now and I have a DH free weekend this weekend so lie ins and no cooking for me!

gingerbreadmam · 07/05/2015 18:11

ooh that sounds like a lovely wkend you have planned.

glad the move went smoothly and you like the new house. will baby have its own little nursery?

bet youre glad youve moved now. were in the process of looking and it is stressing me out.

Stinkersmum · 07/05/2015 18:29

Little??? Lol, I've just moved from a very reasonable 1000sqft two bed one storey house to a 3200sqft two storey mini mansion. Ridiculously big. Too big, but it's provided by DHs company so I can't complain. The nursery is huge. And there's plenty of floor space for baby stuff downstairs too. I'm actually most looking forward to seeing the reaction from my 4 cats when I bring the baby home for the first time. I think that'll be hilarious.

Just a tip. Let other people do as much as they can for you if/when you move. It is stressful, mentally and physically. We had removals people doing the packing and unpacking for us but it was still trying. It really did take it's toll.
