still plenty of time ladypug i wont be buying any of the big things until after 20 weeks anyway.

you'll get lots of advice on here once you start seeing things you might be interested in.

Ladypug · 29/04/2015 18:00

Thanks Gingerbread :-)

gingerbreadmam · 29/04/2015 19:41

if i see any good buys i will share Grin

kezod · 29/04/2015 19:46

Hi guys just checking in as I've been away for a fortnight. Sounds as though lots of you are shopping around. I'm in the 'cant do anything until the 20wk scan' camp so I think I'll have to come back to the information people have posted later on!
I've bought lots of lovely loose trousers (which seem to be very in this summer anyway- bargain) and I can just about squeeze into some of my jeans still (14+4).
nutella they couldn't measure the nucheal fold at my scan either so I'm waiting for bloods in a few weeks. Fingers crossed!

Nutellalover14 · 30/04/2015 07:50

Thanks Kezod. The Midwife said it could be done anytime up too 20 Weeks, so it'll be done at my next appointment in 3 weeks.

Am 14+1 and brought a pair of Leggings last night, as some of my trousers/ jeans are getting a little tight and uncomfortable. I search for 'non see through' ones. so hopefully there ok Smile Doesn't help that i still feel like am eating like a blemming horse Blush

gingerbreadmam · 30/04/2015 07:55

sure leggings and loose trousers will kp you going for a while. im living in leggings (i have now bought maternity ones), maxi dresses and got one pair of jeans. might get some jogging bottoms too for them days where just want to really relax.

mountainofdreams · 30/04/2015 08:27

I'm 18 weeks today and still in my regular size 8 trousers. I've definitely started developing a bump this week so will probably be out of them by next week! !
I have bought a couple of maternity tops from H and M that are really pretty which I sometimes wear!
How is everyone elses bump coming along? Smile

mountainofdreams · 30/04/2015 08:32

Ps Kezod they couldn't do the nuchal at my scan either!
I just got my quad results yesterday and it said I have a one in 50 thousand chance of downs.
Can't wait for my twenty week scan in two weeks! !

gaggiagirl · 30/04/2015 09:58

My bump is huge! I'm 17wks today.

SparklesandBubbles · 30/04/2015 10:07

Wow Mountain, 18 weeks and virtually no bump you are lucky. I'm only 13+5 and have found I have a definite bump in the evenings now...think it's when I'm tired so I'm not using my stomach muscles so much! Quite like it though as at least I look pregnant and not just as if I've been eating too much! Most of y my work dresses are empire line anyway so they all still fit which is good. Definitely need to purchase some maternity trousers though.

batfish · 30/04/2015 12:08

Off for a little anniversary weekend away tonight and have to be seen in a bikini Confused Struggled a lot with nice things to wear for dinner too - can't wear jeans and loads of my other stuff is just too tight - or stuff that is tight but supposed to be makes me self conscious because I think I just look fat and not pregnant! Can't wait until I look unmistakeably pregnant!

mountainofdreams · 30/04/2015 12:48

Thanks sparklesandbubbles. It's definitely growing but I can hide it easily. Looking forward to getting bigger and feeling proper kicks! Smile

Ladypug · 30/04/2015 13:05

Well today I ordered a jacket potato in a cafe and asked if the Mayo was homemade and the chap smiled and said nope, it's pasteurised so you're ok. I must look proper pregnant!!

superexcited · 30/04/2015 16:38

gingerbread I know you are not planning to buy anything big until after the 20 week scan but I thought it was worth mentioning that I had a brochure in the post from winstanly prams and they are offering 20% off all bebecar prams during the month of May. If you ordered at the end of May will you have had the 20 week scan by then?

Poppytime · 30/04/2015 19:07

Evening all. 18 weeks tomorrow and bump getting more obvious - pretty much everyone at work has twigged now and it's hard to hide! My maternity jeans are a little big still but so much more comfy that my regular jeans which don't do up anymore - and I have some belly bands but they always make me feel like my jeans are going to fall down! I just realised how close we are all getting to halfway, it's gone so quick! I remember it dragging so much with my first pregnancy

gingerbreadmam · 30/04/2015 19:43

ooh super that is a fantastic bargain. scan is 3rd of june. could always have it delivered to my dms though if the price is good. i think the shop i viewed it in gave 15% discount and half price matching car seat but i will have a look on winstanlys to see how much they are.

thank you so much!

i am looking out for the fisher price newborn to toddler rocker chair thing if anyone sees any good offers on those Grin

its scary to think almost halfway through although if theyre going to insist on me having my first scan date ive got 5 more wks to go (my bump says different).

gingerbreadmam · 30/04/2015 19:49

just looked, the one or two i am interested are already discounted and with the extra 20% off its then pretty much in our budget Hmm ive been trying to look at other more practical not as pretty prams but i just dont love any like i love the bebecar!

sleepyMe12 · 30/04/2015 20:04

HI ladies, haven't managed to keep up the last couple of weeks. I hope everyone is well?
I had an early scan today to find out the sex... its a little boy Grin
Anyone else found/finding out?

gaggiagirl · 30/04/2015 20:25

Oh sleepy a boy! Congratulations!
I think were not going to find out....i think.

Just a reminder to anyone who wants to join the facebook group just send me a pm and I'll hook you up.

gingerbreadmam · 30/04/2015 20:45

ooh sleepy how lovely! is this your first dc? were you bothered whether boy or girl?

im finding out. 4 weeks on wednesday, too far away just yet ha! i am sure its a boy and would like a boy but like everyone probably im happy with either Grin

scatterbrainedlass · 30/04/2015 21:01

Popping in just to keep on the thread!! 15 weeks today, and have started buying some stuff, but lets just say DH are having a little disagreement about what we actually need, and he thinks I need to slow down and not buy everything now. I'm just trying to be organised!! I'll try and be good and not buy anything for a bit. Might have to sit on my hands.

No sign of a bump yet, getting a little jealous of all the bumps and movements going on around here!! Never mind, it'll be my turn soon :)

Ladypug · 30/04/2015 21:11

Hi Scattered :-) 15 weeks today too! I bought my first thing today - a little sleep suit :-)

I realise everyone has bought more but I just wanted a little token something :-) x

mountainofdreams · 30/04/2015 22:16

Hi sleepy. I had a scan at 16 + 6 and the sonographer said it's most likely a girl. Not buying any girly things until after the twenty week scan to double check (as much they can!). Smile
