I'm so sorry to hear that, adventure. I hope you have loved ones around you in the coming days and that your DH is back by your side soon. Take care of yourself xx

Ladypug · 30/03/2015 16:15

Adventure xxxxx

Nutellalover14 · 30/03/2015 16:41

So sorry Adventure for your loss. Must be horrible and can't imagine what you are going through. Hugs. xx

boredandtired31 · 30/03/2015 17:09

adventure - you have been so very brave through this terrible experience. I hope that you have plenty of support and I am so sorry for your loss.

Poppytime · 30/03/2015 17:10

catness1 · 30/03/2015 18:08

Adventure you've been so brave. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sad xx

Adventuregame · 30/03/2015 18:37

Thank you so much everyone. DP is en route from airport and we've spoken on the phone. I think I've decided to have the procedure so I'm not waiting for it to happen. It feels surreal that I know the baby is still inside me but yet I'm strangely comforted by it.
I wish you all happy healthy pregnancies and may drop in from time to time to see how you're all getting on xxx

gaggiagirl · 30/03/2015 20:02

Oh adventure lots of hugs for you.

batfish · 30/03/2015 20:05

You sound so level headed adventure, I hope you are doing as OK as you sound - either way not long before DP is back so if you're just putting a brave face on then you won't have to anymore. I guess with the medical route you have control over when it happens which may help with closure but I know a lot of people don't like the idea of it. You'll make the right decision for you I'm sure. Big hugs, I'm so sad for you Sad

Mumwannabe82 · 30/03/2015 20:34

adventure I'm so sorry to hear your news xxx

flipflump · 30/03/2015 20:38

Adventure, I'm so so sorry. Pleased DP is on his way to look after you. You've been so brave but please be kind to yourself xx

crazypuglady · 30/03/2015 20:41

So sorry to hear this adventure, was really hoping it was nothing. Take care of yourself x

scatterbrainedlass · 31/03/2015 09:16

I'm glad your DP is back with you to give you the support you need. I'm glad too that even though this is an unimaginable circumstance, that you feel calm and sound so collected about the whole thing. Please don't bow out of the group, we'd love to still hear from you. Good luck for whatever the future holds for you both.

MrsEvansAlmost · 31/03/2015 11:42

in so sorry to hear that adventure I had the same procedure and they do offer support afterward I naively thought I wouldn't need it and regretted not jumping on it.

sending you lots of hugs. take care of yourself xThanks Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

NonnyBunny · 31/03/2015 14:11

I has my foetal medicine consultant appointment this morning. We didn't learn much more that my nuchal fold is now 3.7 (down from 4.5 at original appointment) which I like to think is a good thing?? Tho it's clearly still too high. The consultant wouldn't give us any odds and just said wait and see what the harmony test says. Its a bit frustrating as everyone else in this position (based on forums I've read) seems to have been given clear odds! Just need to keep busy for next week and hope for the best.

I know I will be terrified when the phone rings but I will try not to worry about that until closer to the time.

Hope everyone else is doing well, and thinking of you adventure, sure your DP is taking care of you now xx

Toast85 · 31/03/2015 16:51

So sorry adventure, thinking of you. Do pop in and say hi when you're feeling up to it x

So sorry adventure you sound incredibly brave. Look after yourself. Flowers

Choccywoccydodah · 31/03/2015 21:12

Nonny that sounds very frustrating! I hope this week doesn't go too slowly for you!

I had my trial appt yesterday, and scan was fab. Looks like a 12 week foetus not 10 (MWs words), but measuring 10+1 which is bang on.
I just can't believe we've reached this, it's amazing!
We're thinking of telling ds (3.7) tomorrow as we are terrified my brother will tell him (complete bastard, 44 and would tell him on purpose). He's staying at my parents for a couple of weeks and ds is there Friday and Friday night, so we are sure he'd 'let it slip'. We didn't want to tell him until at least 12 weeks but we want to be the ones that tell him obviously, and he's at preschool Thursday afternoon so he'd be too tired when he comes home.

Hope everyone else is ok.

AnnaBegins · 31/03/2015 21:15

So sorry adventure, glad dp is on his way.

Nonny everything crossed for the harmony test.

NonnyBunny · 31/03/2015 21:42

Thanks choccy and Anna! Keeping everything crossed and redecorating spare room to distract self...DH is tiling bathroom at spare tint. We just don't want to be sat waiting..

Choccy delighted your scan went well! Hope you can tell DS before your brother does Smile

NonnyBunny · 31/03/2015 21:43

Same time, not spare tint!! Autocorrect on phone...

Adventuregame · 31/03/2015 22:29

Choccy that's lovely about your scan !!
So hospital can't fit the ERPC in til the 10th but trying to arrange it privately for tomorrow. At the dr app today I was able to look at the photo from yesterday's scan with DP. I wanted us to be able to share a moment together with it as he hadn't been there yesterday when I saw the poor little thing on the screen.
We're both so upset but positive that we will try again. One minute I think I'm doing fine and then the next I'll think of something and start crying again. I never imagined it could be this hard and for those of you who have experienced this more than once my heart truely goes out to you !!
Right I want to hear only good news from the October bus now girls !! Fingers crossed for no more losses or sad news !!
Thank you for all your help on this too short journey xxx

gaggiagirl · 01/04/2015 09:14

adventure let us know how it goes today. I'm glad you have some support at home. It does get better I promise you. The miscarriage boards are a really good place for answers and support if you need them.
You sound so positive. I'm so sorry this happened to you.

Choccywoccydodah · 01/04/2015 10:40

Adventure being upset and crying is to be expected, let it out!! I'm glad your dp is with you now. You've just got to keep going. When I lost number 8 in October I was so ready to give up, but I'm now so glad I kept going.
If you need to chat about anything we're all here and like gaggia said, the mc threads are a huge support x
