Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 23rd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 40th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

The stats sheet is here

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Angry On your behalf indigo! He will get a shock when the baby comes! Grin

I'm currently far too wide awake after being woken up by bangs and my little dog barking, I went to investigate on my own and found the front gate wide open and the garage door open. So I sent DP out, next doors garages have been smashed up and robbed. They've looked in ours but it looks like its been robbed anyway and there's nothing worth stealing Blush DP is currently next door helping our neighbour and has given me strict instructions to keep all the doors locked. Who knew a chihuahua would make a guard dog!

willywallace · 06/03/2015 00:24

That's terrible Lauren, hope they don't come back.

Works in most cases I reckon Zyla. Except MiniWil who used to scream at the top of her lungs if you so much as looked at a pram. She got used to it though.

laurenamium · 06/03/2015 00:30

My brand new pushchair is in the garage wil I just remembered when DP told me so he's going to bring it in when he comes in and it can live in the conservatory/ playroom. I would be traumatised if they took the pushchair Shock

laurenamium · 06/03/2015 00:58

DP is back, after touring the area he's managed to get the neighbour one of his bikes back, has a registration plate number of a transit van touring the area with its back open and lights on and has made friends with the local police after doing their job for them . He always gets carried away with these kind of things Grin

willywallace · 06/03/2015 02:23

Ah well done to him Lauren!

DulcetMoans · 06/03/2015 07:16

Oh wow lauren, what a shock! I hate that feeling that someone has been in my space but glad they didn't talk anything. Think puppy gets a treat today, excellent guarding!

I hope you set him straight indigo! Not much to do... Pfft!

Nearly there pis, just a waiting game now. Do they massage the belly in maternity massage?

LaLaLaaaa · 06/03/2015 07:16

Your dp rocks Lauren! Glad they didn't take anything but how scary!

I've had a night of the worst dreams. All involving my ex trying to get me to cheat on my dh! Have woken up terrified I've done something wrong!

I'm really dreaming out though - 3rd night in row baby has been quiet after lots of movement the days and nights before then. I think I can't shake idea that something might go wrong :(

We are off to Bristol on holiday today so hopefully I can chill out

Oh my god, lauren! Eventful night! Glad they didn't take your pushchair though. Your dp sounds like he should become a policeman!

You give me hope wil! Smile

Ah, pis you could be onto something there. It didn't occur to me that it might be back to front Blush will check that later. Glad that trace was all good and baby is moving about. Not long to go now!

batfish · 06/03/2015 07:24

Aww la I'm sure everything is OK, don't they say that it's a couple of weeks further in that you should expect to totally regular movement? There was me thinking that if everything is OK at my scan tomorrow then I'll chill out, looks like there is always something to worry about at every stage!

minimooo · 06/03/2015 07:30

Sorry, x-posted... la are you having normal movement during the day (so just quiet at night)? Or quiet generally? I think it's quite normal not to have regular movement until about 26 weeks (or roundabout then) I remember getting a few quiet days before that point and getting quite worried, but then she soon picked up after a few days again. It's likely that baby has turned toward your back or something so you can't feel him as much. However, do phone your midwife if you're worried. She'll be able to put your mind at rest. Flowers though - it is scary when the activity level drops a bit.

minimooo · 06/03/2015 07:33

So true bat, I think I'll be worrying for the rest of my life now. Good luck for scan tomorrow!

LaLaLaaaa · 06/03/2015 07:51

I've checked hb with Doppler and it's there but difficult to find, so I think baby's turned and that's probably why movement isn't as noticeable. I'll keep an eye and phone mw if I'm worried, thanks guys.

Honestly I can't wait til these 9 months are over.

Pis not long to goooooo!!

willywallace · 06/03/2015 07:53

Well the only thing is Mini, you may be too tired to do the gardening after being up all night Wink .

Hope you're ok La. Drink something really cold?

I am ridiculously tired.

Purpleball · 06/03/2015 08:25

Good grief Lauren, your life isn't dull! Glad all ok though.

It's 24 weeks for regular movement isn't it?

Wil I hope you get a nap soon

batfish · 06/03/2015 08:49

Glad you found the heartbeat la for a bit of reassurance - am sure all is fine and dandy in there but as a professional stresshead myself I know that no amount of everyone else telling you it's fine will make you believe it!

gaggiagirl · 06/03/2015 08:51

Morning all.
H&M is the absolute best for mat wear. I'm going back for more because it can also easily pass as non mat wear in case it all goes tits up.

mountaingirl01 · 06/03/2015 09:10

I'm definitely holding out for baby sleeping in garden..this one is coming just before apple harvest. My parents have an old carriage pram that we're hoping to have renovated.

Shock Lauren! That is one of by big fears in life.

My dh still hasn't told his parents... Despite my whole family now knowing. I have no idea what happens in his head.

la don't know if it works later on, but to get baby to move around on my scan they had me lift my bum in the air and wiggle from side to side dh nearly wet himself

DulcetMoans · 06/03/2015 09:24

la, I noticed this week that I could feel some of the smaller kicks with my hands on my tummy but I couldn't feel inside, if that makes sense. Glad you found heartbeat anyway, try not to worry - as much as possible.

H&M were my bra saviours gaggia but the selection of clothes here is tiny! There were literally about 4 racks. But I will be back for the bras - no where else caters for my wonderful breasts!

I feel glum today. Not sure why. I am knackered and achy which I think doesn't help. (I know comparatively I am probably less tired than you wil. The only way to tell is with a sleep-of which I think we would both enjoy) Have a quiet weekend so just want to get there really and rest...

Fattycow · 06/03/2015 09:46

Hello viroids, how are you all?

Fleurchamp · 06/03/2015 10:19

Morning all!

Been a bit busy lately with life, work and a new boost of energy which has come from nowhere!

Quick question, those having their first DC do you think your DH will get you a Mother's Day card/ little gift? I said something about it and my DH thought I was being ridiculous! Am I?

Pisghetti · 06/03/2015 10:23

Naff all going on in my uterus today (well apart from wriggly baby). I'm dying my hair, had my brows waxed earlier this week and getting my bikini line trimmed and edged tomorrow. I'm ready for my close up and the all important money shot.

Might go for a long walk to buy some more dates. Between the two they might encourage something to happen. The baby is still not fully engaged - so might see if a bit of ball bouncing might help. Wish I had a space hopper - I could bounce to the shop for dates then.

Going to do some more batch cooking. Aubergine parmigiana and this curry which is a favourite of mine. My freezer is bursting at the seams! I made my bara birth the other day. It's all kinds of wrong as I couldn't find my loaf tin so made a round one instead but it's got crunchy edges like my nan used to make yum yum! I think it'll be time for a slice once I've washed the dye out.

I'm definitely getting grumpy. I nearly snapped at DP for eating his porridge too loudly Blush and DS is getting a right earful when he gets home over the state of his bedroom! He's also being put on a telly ban - part of the reason his room is so bad is that he watches telly until the last possible moment and then gets ready to leave for school in a mad 'must throw everything everywhere' panic. I told him to get dressed earlier today and he argued back that 8am is the perfect time to get dressed and it's all the other getting ready to go stuff (hair, teeth, school bag) that ends up making him late. Moron Hmm

Wow Lauren that sounds pretty hairy! So glad the pushchair was ok

willywallace · 06/03/2015 10:26

A sleep off sounds amazing Dulcet!

How are you Fatty?

We had our hospital app yesterday where MicroWil got the thing I was talking about on fb. I need a rant about positivity. I wish people would stop saying "it's for the best", "lucky you found out now", etc and someone would just say "it's a bit shit and must be a pain in the arse for you." I totally appreciate all the positive things are true but I already have a refluxy baby and a toddler to take care of without nappy changes taking twice as long and sleep being even more disrupted than it was. Aaargh! I know this is a 'poor me' post and it's not about me but finding today crap!

Fattycow · 06/03/2015 10:52

I'm very tired at the moment, but baby moves around a lot and that makes me happy.

Fattycow · 06/03/2015 10:53

And I do hope I'm getting a Mother's Day card. Roll on May and we'll see if DH buys me one!
