We are already nearing the halfway point! Some of us have already reached the 20 weeks, the rest will follow suit. Let the countdowns begin!

Here is the stats list, please update them with your scan dates and the sex of you baby (if you know it):

SoapSudBub · 05/03/2015 19:26

Does anyone have a nickname for their buba? We call ours PJ (DH's name) Junior.... Helps him feel more involved Grin! What do you guys call yours?

fattymcfatfat · 05/03/2015 19:35

until yesterday when I found out I was having a boy my bump was nicknamed the hulk. now I call him by the name we have chosen Smile

broodylicious · 05/03/2015 20:01

Lol, the hulk - I love that!! Dd keeps saying our bump is called dolly. But then yesterday she said the car, daddy, the co-op, her shoes, her fish fingers were also called dolly so I'm taking her suggestion with a pinch of salt Grin

SoapSudBub · 05/03/2015 20:05

Loving the hulk and dolly!! Lol

SparklyPenguin · 05/03/2015 20:06

We call our bump 'Peach'- not ideal for a boy but it started the week that the growth chart said the baby was the size of a peach (week 12?) and just sort of stuck with us!

LostSoulsForever · 05/03/2015 20:36

Mine is Alan. Not ideal for a girl but sticking with it until she arrives :)

jmojo · 05/03/2015 21:35

LOL oh you guys make me laugh! Love all the bump names!!Grin

BadIdeaBear · 05/03/2015 22:47

My step son calls ours Bumpfrey.

Zampa · 06/03/2015 05:59

My bump's name is Moomin, which is horribly saccharin, I know. I try not to use it in public!

Naturegirl82 · 06/03/2015 08:38

Our bump is called sprout, no particular reason except maybe it was because of xmas.

ohlordyplordy · 06/03/2015 08:54

Ours is little monkey :)

Fattycow · 06/03/2015 09:31

broodylicious · 06/03/2015 18:10

Aah number, is that going to be his name? I love it but dh has said no Hmm I've got a few boys names now that I like but dh is mostly saying no! Xx

LostSoulsForever · 06/03/2015 21:30

Is it just me or is it very quiet on here now? Has everyone defected to the facebook group instead? x

Charliej86 · 06/03/2015 21:35

Hi, I'm due lil boy 17 July. I have daughter 10 and son 7 from previous relationship.

I'm over the moon but (irrationally) scared about baby and his arrival. Have opened up a little about this today and feel better for now but know it'll sneak up again.

jmojo · 06/03/2015 22:46

Charlie talking about it is good, and nothing to be ashamed of. Everybody has different fears, and just because you have done it before doesn't make it any less scary!!

broodylicious · 07/03/2015 03:31

Hi charlie. Welcome! I'm another worrier too, for several reasons. Keep talking, it defo helps.

lost, yeah the fb group is crazy busy!

smallgreenbanana · 07/03/2015 08:40

I'm not on Facebook so I'm still here! I did rather think when someone started the group it would suck the life from here but it seemed ok for a while. Hang in there folks please!

Welcome charlie :)

Wish we had a clever name for the bump. We're still trying to choose names for what's inside! We just don't agree on anything!! So glad we found out the sex so we only have one lot to decide on!!

BadIdeaBear · 07/03/2015 08:44

The fb group is busy but most of us on there still come here too!

gluenotsoup · 07/03/2015 10:21

I'm still here! It has been very quiet lately, I thought Facebook too, or that everyone was just settling down and getting on with stuff.

I think I need to get a bit of a move on with things actually. I was so nervous of the scans I kept thinking I would wait till afterwards, and suddenly I am 22 weeks tomorrow and I still haven't made the transition from being cautiously pregnant to actually having a baby! This week I bought a few things, bottles, bottle warmer etc and a top and a tail bowl and things like cotton pads and bepanthen, and ordered some maternity clothes but that's it ! My mum has bought a baby monitor and my sister is getting the moses basket, but I feel very unprepared, and barely given names a thought. Sigh. Dd 1 is ridiculously excited which is lovely. Dd 2 is totally oblivious to it all, but that's to be expected. We have got lots of other things going on too, like finalising extension plans and getting quotes, dd 2 had a heart scan this week, house insurance needed renewing, and on and on....

Really looking forward to this afternoon though, as I'm going for afternoon tea with friends.very civilised Smile and the perfect excuse for eating my own body weight in cake.

We haven't got a cute name for bump, just bump or newbie.

Will make a big effort to post more often too, have a great day everyone !

Charliej86 · 07/03/2015 11:01

We don't have a name for bump really, just bump, boy, him lol. We haven't 100% settled on name when he's out.

We pretty well organised apart from name tho, we have pushchair inc car seat, cot, Moses basket. Even nappies, wipes, bepanthen, cotton wool balls, breast pads, nappy sacks. And a few outfits, tho we're focusing on 0-3/3-6 as I know people tend to buy early clothes when born or for showers.
