Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Wait, what?! Did he actually try with those two ingredients alone popz?!

March down there in PJs la, but you have to be angry!

LaLaLaaaa · 17/02/2015 21:43

You want me to go down to reception in the buff popz?!? Shock

I'm a non pj wearer! This is why I need room service. I don't think people would appreciate a naked lady with ridiculous Dolly Parton boobs and massive belly (not to mention unkempt foof due to fear of burning waxers) striding purposefully through reception

DulcetMoans · 17/02/2015 21:44

But if it gets you pancakes...

willywallace · 17/02/2015 21:46

Demand them La! Tell them you've been in Cunts Corner FGS!! Grin

I sympathise with Mr Popz. I am crap at making pancakes. Maybe I'll try the banana ones for MiniWil tomorrow.

Disposable nappies Dulcet? You're a better woman than me.

RPopz · 17/02/2015 21:48

Is there not a complimentary dressing gown in this fine establishment La?? Wink

Yes Dulce he did actually try to make pancakes out of egg and milk... so he had scrambled eggs for tea Grin Then sulked for an hour until I pointed out he might want to try adding some flour.

TheBooMonster · 17/02/2015 21:50

la go down in a towel?

lol popz I had to google some pancake recipes as DH normally does them, I didn't have the first clue what goes into pancakes other than flour (on account of my mum was talking about making flourless pancakes thus they must normally have flour)

RPopz · 17/02/2015 21:51

I'd have been more tempted to try reusables if I'd had a summer babe. I was well up for it until someone pointed out how much washing and drying it'd be, and we don't have a tumble drier.

DulcetMoans · 17/02/2015 22:05

Yeah wil, I'm really keen to try it. Might not be possible all the time but there is a good group locally so lots of advice. I have some bits to get me started now - just second hand - so wash that all again and get some inners and I'm ready to try! Will have disposables at hand in case but I'm pretty determined; others manage it so why not me?!

Love it popz! We cheat and have the mix where you just add water. Just love the idea of the confusion when trying to make pancakes and ending up with scrambled egg!

willywallace · 17/02/2015 22:07

Yeah I at least knew they had flour! I had notions of reusables too but that's quite frankly laughable now. There is no space in my day for nappy washing. Maybe when she's bigger...

Cymraes17 · 17/02/2015 22:27

We have done well with washables, planning on using them again with no.4. MIL told me with DC1 to concentrate on bf or washing nappies, so was even more determined to do both! We do have time off and use disposables occasionally, but i hate seeing all the nappies in the bin and feel guilty.
It was hard when I had 2 in nappies at the same time, but we managed somehow. Im a stubborn thing

Cymraes17 · 17/02/2015 22:30

Pancakes are simple once you get them! I use a child's cup, 1 cup of flour, then a cup of milk, an egg an a tbsp of sugar for sweet ones.

deeplybaffled · 17/02/2015 23:06

I had pancakes too - after having stern words with myself that the eggs in the pancakes were fine, even if the pancake hadn't been chargrilled first! Sometimes, it's too easy to slip from careful into paranoid about this sort of stuff - i need a hooyah... !

willywallace · 18/02/2015 00:24

Hooya Deeply!

God you're wonder woman Cym.
I have two in nappies and our bin is always full. I do feel bad but I'm just not organised enough.

batfish · 18/02/2015 03:38

My only symptom which is sore boobs is much milder for the second day, it's worrying me! Hopefully I'm being ridiculous but they've been absolutely killing me for 4 weeks straight and now they're not too bad. I want more symptoms even though I know they don't necessarily mean anything not less! How do I know everything is OK in there?! God this time is going soooo slooooowly Sad

DulcetMoans · 18/02/2015 06:50

Was being up at 3.30am not a symptom bat?! The wait is terrible - worse than TWOT - but you will get there and then the weeks will tick on nicely! Symptoms can be unreliable, especially if you are measuring them yourself. You forget you felt shit an hour ago because you feel alright now.

Hooya for you deeply! It's all cooked!

Great to hear you had success cym, I still need to learn about all the bits but good to know it can work.

Up before alarm again - tired and back hurts. I just want to sleep for a day but I can't get comfy!

Fleurchamp · 18/02/2015 07:00

Morning all!

We went out last night for an impromptu dinner, was lovely Grin

I have such a bunged up head - my nose has been blocked for about 6 weeks now but it has spread to my ears, eyes and I have a constant headache. The MW was pretty useless when I asked what I can take, I have to see the Dr next week Sad

bat I didn't get many symptoms, as you know that doesn't mean a thing but I can understand why you are worried.

There is always something to worry about, currently I am worrying about not being able to feel movement yet (especially when all I seem to hear is "oh I felt my DC at 13 weeks, blah blah".

In my heart I would love to try reusable nappies but I just don't think I am organised enough and so would spend a huge amount on the kit and then use disposables anyway. Have been looking at gnappies- any thoughts on those?

LaLaLaaaa · 18/02/2015 07:19

Hooyah bat!

Hooyah fleur!

Hooyah deeply!

Deeply - eggs are fine as long as there's red lion mark. Either way there's not been outbreak of salmonella from eggs since the 1980s.

Bat - symptoms come and go and you're in the quiet stage just now. Give it 2 weeks and I bet you'll have crashing tiredness and nausea, plus perhaps razor nipples for good measure! Look back and you'll see we all said same thing about few symptoms at your stage. It's the really unnerving calm stage before the storm!

Fleur it's early for movement still. I'm just starting to feel mine - it was kicking gently yesterday when I was standing looking at some aquarium fish. Perhaps it likes fish? They were very pretty - there were some baby seahorses that were gorgeous (I'm at an agricultural college for 2 days)

Your nose - saline spray. You can buy it from supermarket. I had rhinitis at night from bfp to 13 weeks. Saline spray clears nose and is fine in pg. mine is by calpol. Also use a face cream before bed - I find mines worse when I have dry skin

I slept - ish! Hooray!

Another busy day today handling reptiles but we are going to be playing with some of the more tricky species so this is my favourite day. I love watching the students go from scared of these animals on day 1 to hooking and bagging aggressive or venomous species confidently in day 2. Means we've done our job properly training them Grin, days like this I love my job

I might give reusables a try - I'll not beat myself up though if I switch to disposables when we go out and about though.

Good luck today for scans purple and stoat. I'll be checking in for news later

Going to have pancakes tonight! You've all inspired me.

LaLaLaaaa · 18/02/2015 07:22

Oh and fleur I totally agree about the movement anxiety. That July thread freaks me out. I'm sure lots of people who thought they felt movement early just had wind! I don't really like the July thread, people tend to wind each other's neuroses up. The Facebook page is better I find

Purplecircle · 18/02/2015 07:35

My nose has been blocked the whole time I've been pregnant but it's now developed into a cold with a sore throat too. I haven't taken anything for it. I found sugar free strepsils but they have alcohol in them!

Haven't had anymore spotting which is reassuring Smile but I'm still parping it for the scan though

batfish · 18/02/2015 07:35

Haha dulcet I live in a different time zone so it was 7.30am, still sleeping like a log thank god!

la I know what you mean about the thread for your month freaking you out - obviously I'm not at the stage yet to be feeling anything but I think that's what is panicking me about symptoms because most people are feeling absolutely dreadful!

Purplecircle · 18/02/2015 07:37

The sea horses sound lovely La, I'm less convinced about the reptiles though

Hope you get your pancakes :-)

Fleurchamp · 18/02/2015 07:45

Thanks la I have been using a saline spray but it has stopped being effective - I just sneeze (without any snot coming out, sorry TMI) which hurts my head! Boo.

Going to have steam with some Vicks later to see if that helps.

LaLaLaaaa · 18/02/2015 08:26

Oh bum fleur that is a pain! Yes steam might help. Careful with vicks I was using it every night them found out you're not really meant to use it in anything except small occasional doses

gaggiagirl · 18/02/2015 08:42

fleur I could have written your post! My nose is driving me mental and its so much worse at night.
I'll defo get some saline spray and see if that works. I've been using Vicks but its not clearing it up and my head is banging from it.

willywallace · 18/02/2015 08:45

God please stop talking about pancakes.

Shit I have to be out in half an hour and I have a towel round my head, a toddler in pyjamas and I've not had breakfast.
