Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

lauren you may not have to! My little one was 36+2 and didn't have to go to nicu or transitional care! She was just sleepy and not feeding well for a few days while she worked life out! Be positive!

That said, I think it'd be good to ask for a look, then you know where it is and what it's like just in case x

batfish · 28/02/2015 06:53

Happy birthday stoat, I hope you still manage to enjoy the day. It will be lovely to have the support of your auntie at least.

lauren definitely ask for a look round if you want to, who cares if they think you're weird, it's a big time for you. Hopefully you won't need to go there at all when your baby comes but if you think it will ease your mind to see it then definitely ask them.

Unfortunately the appetite is not a symptom, I've always been a greedy bastard so it's nothing new!

LaLaLaaaa · 28/02/2015 07:03

Happy birthday stoat! Hopefully people will help you to have a lovely day. It's ibex to have guys family around.

Wil it's just him! No drinking last night

Lauren 32 weeks yay! Definitely ask if you can look round

Ok im off to Cardiff!

laurenamium · 28/02/2015 07:09

What you got planned in Cardiff la?

Ill definitely ask this afternoon once DD has gone back to my DMs!

DulcetMoans · 28/02/2015 08:14

Oh I love Cardiff la! Used to live there and my best friend loves there too. Hope you've got some fun things planned, along with the baby hugs of course!

Oh and that July thread weight gain thing - awful! I've not been on the scales but expecting more than 2 bloody lb!

What's for breakfast at the ha optimal then lauren? The dinner sounded good so hopefully there's something to look forward too! If you have the chance to look at NICU and there's a chance you might use it then why not have a look around? Go for it I say, so long as it won't upset you.

Lovely pic popz! What a smiler!

Happy birthday stoat. I hope you manage to enjoy it as much as possible. Just enjoy being pampered and looked after.

DulcetMoans · 28/02/2015 08:15

Ha optimal - hospital. Obvs. Stupid phone!

ChatEnOeuf · 28/02/2015 08:32

Ooh, Cardiff, very nice. Hope you have a lovely w/e.

Lauren - no-one will think you mad if you want to look around NICU - it's a scary-looking place and everyone I've spoken to has felt more prepared for having visited first. Our local guidelines tell us we have to take every baby up to 33+6 on NICU, but that from 34 onwards, if weight, breathing and the like are all OK then they can stay with their mums and we just come see them every day

I'm not looking at the scales. I put on 2st last time and I'm sure it'll be more this time around... It all fell off pretty quickly with BFing and no sleep despite all the cake eating, so I'm hopeful this time will be the same!

Happy Birthday Stoat - hope you have a lovely relaxing day.

gaggiagirl · 28/02/2015 08:36

Cant hurt to ask lauren. I got a tour of the mlu when I was 8 weeks with DD. They like to show off good facilities.

laurenamium · 28/02/2015 08:39

Weetabix for breakfast this morning, just like home Smile

The midwives are lovely, she beat me to it with talk of the NICU and she's going to get a nurse from there to come and speak to me at some point today. I'll be home tomorrow hopefully and returning 3 times a week for trace and checks!

willywallace · 28/02/2015 08:49

Cardiff is cool. I nearly went to uni there but decided it was too far away.

Happy Birthday Stoat!

I'm going out for lunch today, hurrah! The plan was originally to go for coffee and leave babywil at home but I can't leave the tricksy wee thing so will take her and stay out a bit longer. Some toddler free time grown up time at least. Just have to hope baby will sleep instead of scream...

laurenamium · 28/02/2015 08:57

I hope microwil stays asleep for you wil so you can get some adult time in!

minimooo · 28/02/2015 09:19

Oh, I'm in Cardiff at the moment la! We drove down last night, staying with my brother and his girlfriend for the weekend. Hope you have a better journey than us - there were two accidents on the m25 yesterday and it took us 5 1/2 hours to get here! (Should have been about 3)

Glad you're getting to see the NICU lauren, though fingers crossed you won't need to use it. Sounds like they're taking good care of you.

have a lovely lunch out wil, and hope that microwil stays asleep for you.

Ok, I'm off to raid my brother's kitchen for breakfast...

Pisghetti · 28/02/2015 09:21

Ooh Cardiff - gis a wave on your way in!

Enjoy your lunch out Wil

Glad little L is staying put.

Happy birthday Stoat hope you have a nice day with your family x

Lots of love for Cardiff!! It's a great city, my mate moved there for uni and stayed so I go there to visit a couple of times a year. Just going to chill with her and new baby this afternoon then out for our traditional curry!

Lauren yay they sound really good at your hospital. Look after yourself.

Wil hooray for child free time! My friends mum has taken her DS for weekend and we are leaving new baby with her dh tonight so we can have some time to chat.

I've loaded the car with her favourite blue wkd and pic n mix, so hopefully I'll be a welcome sight!

Mini are you up to anything nice?

ZylaB · 28/02/2015 10:56

wil have lovely lunch out! :)

LaLaLaaaa · 28/02/2015 10:57

Wil! Just realised you'll still have micro wil :) hooray for toddler free time at least! Enjoy lunch x

laurenamium · 28/02/2015 11:00

Have a lovely time mini and la! Smile

I've just made the consultant say shit Grin apparently I can't muck out the horses until after the baby is here!

willywallace · 28/02/2015 11:51

Thanks all. Enjoy your curry La.

Hahaha Lauren, good effort. I can't believe you're even contemplating mucking horses out. Please tell me you're stopping work?

ZylaB · 28/02/2015 12:05

lauren lol at your consultant achievement! And I second what wil just said, please be taking things really easy until baby is here!

teejayem · 28/02/2015 13:08

Aw, I loves Cardiff, I have been tattooed there twice! :) have a lovely time la

Ditto wil - hope you have a nice lunch out!
Nice work with the sweaty consultant lauren. Ditto what Zyla and Wil are saying tho, please look after yourself...

Nursery furniture is being delivered between 2 and 6, mama tee popped over earlier with a huge bag of crab claws and mussels for tea later, and then my bro popped in with DN so him and Mr tee did a little drum lesson. Busy noisy morning!
I really ought to clear the ironing in the spare room so there's space to build furniture but I am glued to my Xbox at the moment, so bollocks to it. Not sure but I think bump has had a bit of a growth spurt, all my lovely overbump jeans feel a bit squeezy and actual bump feels heavy if that makes sense? Therefore I am arse glued to sofa for now.

teejayem · 28/02/2015 13:08

Sweary, not sweaty oh my god, bloody ipad!!!!

laurenamium · 28/02/2015 13:37

Grin Yes maternity leave has started early, I rang around parents yesterday and will need to tie up paperwork in the next week but that's nothing physically taxing!

tee good call with Xbox time and very exciting about furniture! Will it all be going up today?

LaLaLaaaa · 28/02/2015 15:12

Crab claws and mussels!? Very posh!

Lauren I'm glad you don't have to go back to work! And yes no horse care you mad lady Grin

Wil I'm at my friends and her baby has had reflux too and would only sleep on her. She's got a cocoonababy and it seems to really work because it holds baby in place so feels like they are being held. Thought I'd mention it in case it's handy

teejayem · 28/02/2015 16:02

I think Mr tee wants to crack on with it (if it ever bloody arrives). It'll be nice to have somewhere to put some of the baby stuff we've accumulated, the spare room is just full of bags of baby STUFF. It stresses me out, don't ask me why, I just find it all a bit overwhelming.
Still grumbling about the wardrobe...Hmm
We're not posh! Payday treat..... :)

TheBooMonster · 28/02/2015 16:34

lauren DD was 36+2 and we were under transitional are on the normal ward for about 24 hours, they decided she was fine and left us to it after that, though they had originally assumed she'd need a NICU crib, because they wouldn't induce me at the hospital until there was a crib free on NICU for her. We did see NICU eventually because the general lack of support, me not having a clue, and DD being sleepy meant we went back to the hospital for a few days for monitoring and we were in a little room off NICU because there were no beds on the ward, NICU at our hospital was pretty peaceful and quiet, but the room that had the babies in was a whirl of noise because all of the monitors they have in there. It looked kind of like the nurseries they have in hospitals on american dramas but high tech.
