Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh lauren! What a shock! I am so glad you are being taken care of though. Just try and relax now, you just have to go with the medical people and keep that positivity. They will take care of you - just keep those legs crossed!

I bottled out of AIBU. I haven't read one about a baby on a hen do but if it's been done before, with dire consequence, then maybe not a good idea.

HUNGER STRIKES!

RPopz · 27/02/2015 11:11

I agree with wil - at least being in hospital will force you to rest! Request plenty of snacks, films, books etc and make the most of it! Hopefully babyL will be cooking for a while longer yet Smile Thanks xxx

A lady from my antenatal club delivered at 28 weeks - her little boy is 20 weeks old now and just perfect Smile

laurenamium · 27/02/2015 11:43

I've asked DP to bring me paperwork Blush if I'm going on mat leave early I want it to be all finished!

In the ward now, it's very quiet. Not sure how impressed they'll be when DD arrives!

LaLaLaaaa · 27/02/2015 12:02

I've read a few stories Lauren where, with steroids, babies have stayed put up to 8 weeks. Hoping this helps to keep you positive! Plus many stories of babies born at 31 weeks that have no ill effects at all. You're in the right place - I know it's not what you were expecting and it must be a shock but you will be well cared for. Rest up xxx

ZylaB · 27/02/2015 12:17

lauren Use it as time to watch films etc, don't work unless you want to! It's not nice to be in but best to be sure little one is staying put and no infection. Use it as chill out time and fx things go ok. The steroid injections aren't too bad :)

Pisghetti · 27/02/2015 12:37

Eek crapsticks Lauren Shock when I was offering a place ahead of me in the queue I didn't expect anyone to take it up! Glad they're keeping a close eye on you anyway.

Yikes Lauren and there was me moaning about arse rain.

Hope all is ok and baby stays put for a few more weeks. You're definitely in the best place though. Look after yourself sweetie

teejayem · 27/02/2015 13:48

oh lauren hope you're okay, def sounds like you're in the right place, def a good opportunity to put your feel up a bit tho, thinking of you xx

Midwife this morning, baby clearly doesn't like the sound of the doppler, every time she tried to press the doppler onto my tummy he kicked it really hard. SPD/PGP aside, it's all fine, my blood pressure is back to normal, sizewise he's halfway between 25 & 26 weeks, which still doesn't solve the due date mystery, but I'm going to stick with 26 for now...

I'm trying to find some suitably outrageous Palazzo trousers for the spring/summer, but all the garish ones I like are out of stock. :(

laurenamium · 27/02/2015 15:15

Thanks for the positive stories viroids! Smile I'm feeling much better again, ill blame the hormones! The doctor has been round and if I don't go into labour before, then they will be inducing me between 34 and 36 weeks depending on how the monitoring goes, and they'll have me at the hospital for 3 times a week to keep an eye

DulcetMoans · 27/02/2015 17:41

Pleased you've got a plan at least lauren - not what you thought you would be doing today though i'm sure! That's dramatically reduced your waiting time too, does that mean you will leapfrog anyone if you are induced? Will have to go and have a look!

Good news for you overall then tee!

Looooooovvvvvveeeeeee your picture pis. I want a tree! Did you make that changing table? That looks lovely. It all does!

Pisghetti · 27/02/2015 18:07

I've got 2-4 weeks left depending on how late this one wants to be - as much as being next freaks me out, I'm happy for Lauren's wee one to wait for me!

The stickers have stopped peeling off! The pritt stick worked a treat Grin the changing table is an Ikea Hensvik (with wallpaper I've added following a tip on Pinterest) it was a bit wrinkly but you can't see it unless you shine a light at it! Pritt stick also worked a treat there - PVA caused the wrinkles!

It looks fab Pis. I can't decide what theme to do at all. I already have a tree/animals one in MiniWil's room. Have spent half the day looking online and am no more decided than I was at the start.

RPopz · 27/02/2015 19:16

2 weeks Pis blimey! Where's that time gone?? If I had a quid for every time I've said that on here... Hmm

Indigoblue2 · 27/02/2015 19:17

How you getting on popz? How's the wee man??

laurenamium · 27/02/2015 19:23

Hopefully pis will go before me Grin DP has gone home, I've got the tv, mumsnet, and a chocolate eclair. I could get used to this!

willywallace · 27/02/2015 19:33

Yey for managing to chill out Lauren.

lildottie · 27/02/2015 19:38

thinking of you Lauren x

deeplybaffled · 27/02/2015 19:55

Thinking of you, lauren -hope all is well. X

gaggiagirl · 27/02/2015 19:59

Oh lauren! Thinking of you. Everything will be fine. And if you're in the hospital I think you're in you will be so well looked after. They are the dogs bollocks! I work at the 'other' hospital and no were not at all jealous! Grin

ZylaB · 27/02/2015 20:03

I've come for a not at all stealthy boast! Ive found an advantage to the not drinking when pregnant!!..just stood on the scales for the first time since having H nearly 3 weeks ago and am about 4.5kg less than I was when I got pg Grin

It's got to be to do with the not drinking wine :) and the fact I'm a fat cow so needed to lose a lot anyway lol

ZylaB · 27/02/2015 20:05

Bugger, was meant to be in the mumming thread. I'm going away now! Sorry

LaLaLaaaa · 27/02/2015 20:10

Zyla that update gave me hope! Well done :)

Hugs to you Lauren, try to rest

willywallace · 27/02/2015 20:13

Ha zyla I'm always getting the threads mixed up and posting random baby shit here. Wish that happened to me. I'm a stone heavier and feel minging.

laurenamium · 27/02/2015 20:17

Oh gaggia I didn't know you lived oop north!

ZylaB · 27/02/2015 20:35

I am still massively overweight though, but am planning on plenty of walking etc with the pram so hope it continues. Though I AM sure it's mostly due to not drinking (I'm not an alchy I promise!)
