Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 22nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 39th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

indigo mines a 2015, they convert to a double really well if that's a possibility. John Lewis stock them if you w ant a try :)

Purpleball · 22/02/2015 13:49

Thanks for the food advice. I never stuff myself, but I need to stop sooner now. I guess I have less capacity!

La I'm planning a POANG chair from ikea with a footstool if there's room. Our nursery is tiny too! I'm going to get a cot top changer, a cot bed and a chest of drawers

I'm still stuck on the Silver Cross Pioneer, I haven't found anything I like better. It's expensive though, £650! I quite liked the mamas and papas armadillo flip but DH isn't keen

LaLaLaaaa · 22/02/2015 13:58

If you want to know the difference between 2014 and 2015 model - the newer model is longer as it can convert to take 2 children whereas 2014 doesn't have that option. Most of the rest was exactly the same. We looked at both. Both are lovely but I wanted the green one and we couldn't afford the 2015 at the moment :)

Pisghetti · 22/02/2015 14:02

Not sure if I can link as on mobile but we used this for DS' tiny nursery in lieu of a wardrobe. Only useful if you can put things up on the wall but a couple of storage boxes on the shelf for vests/sleep suits/nappies/toiletries etc and all the wee baby clothes on the rail (they're so cute it doesn't matter that they're 'on show') makes really good use of space.

willywallace · 22/02/2015 14:11

Pis you may be a genius. That's a great idea although would probably only fit about a tenth of the clothes we have on the rail. People gave us SO much stuff. They do it in white too.

Sigh, waiting for visitors who have just told us they'll be an hour late (as they were supposed to be arriving). I could have bloody been napping.

willywallace · 22/02/2015 14:16

Oh and I've also seen the IKEA spice racks used as bookshelves which is a great idea as they're mega cheap. www.ikeahackers.net/2011/03/repurposing-spice-racks-into-childrens-bookshelves.html

Sorry can't link but you can copy and paste.

Toast85 · 22/02/2015 14:33

Love the hat-racks pis. We're going to be pushed for space too.
Thank you for all the pushchair advice. Turns out that at 6+6 weeks I can totally cope with online browsing but freaked a little when DH suggested actually going to the shops to look in RL today. I will stick to online research for a while longer.

laurenamium · 22/02/2015 15:22

Oh I like those hat rack and book shelf ideas Grin I've saved them for when we move house for the new playroom!

teejayem · 22/02/2015 15:41

Just had a lovely nap only to be awoken by Mr tee reminding me we're at mils for dinner :( I don't want to go. Even post furnituregate I can't bear her dispensing more unwanted advice and comments, the latest of which is FF - in spite of explaining I want to try BF, she keeps buying bottles and FF equipment, because 'it's really hard to BF'. Way to make me feel like I'm being set up to fail. oversensitive sulk

Deep breaths. She is happy and excited and only wants to help, she is happy and excited and only wants to help.

laurenamium · 22/02/2015 15:55

Good luck at your mils tee

I fell over this morning carting a full wheelbarrow on to the top of the muck heap...I slipped so was on my knees in the poo. And the wheelbarrow came down and tipped on top of me. So dignified, DP and DM thought it was hilarious. Between this and the 2 riding lessons I've given this morning my fanjo and hips are killing and I can't find a comfy place to get away from the pain, considering calling parents to cancel work tomorrow but can't decide!

teejayem · 22/02/2015 16:22

Have you spoken to you MW or GP about your pelvic pain lauren (I can't remember...)? Mine were shockingly helpful and I'm nowhere near as in much pain this week compared to last,/!: I honestly believe it's largely to do with the not-doing-very-much; might not hurt to have a break, I think it's really helped me.

Pisghetti · 22/02/2015 16:41

God Tee you must have the patience of a saint! Think of it as an extra motivation to breastfeed successfully Wink

Lauren I don't know where you get the energy! If my pelvis is playing up, it affects where I choose to park my ass let alone horse riding and mucking out!

Braved ikea and got all the nursery furniture today. I'm definitely waddling now Sad got a super active baby today though - limbs everywhere. Got a right smack on the cervix too - made me 'oof' out loud in the shop. Hopefully she's moving down into my pelvis. Looking forward to having use of my lungs again! Ikea stuff can be really versatile. I have built in wardrobes that aren't deep enough to take a hanger (carpentry and plumbing are skills the previous owner did NOT possess) so fitted a grundtal (sp?) kitchen shelf and I can hang clothes parallel to the door now. Over door hangers are great. DS has one for his millions of hoodies and I use them for towels in the bathroom (after they've dried on the heated rail). I've just bought one for my room as I'll have to give over some wardrobe space for DP soon £1.95 too - bargain!

They referred me for physio tee but the appointments I was offered I couldn't attend because of work...I couldn't have took time off so short notice and would have lost a lot of money doing so. So with some advice from I think it was zyla on here and some googling I've just been managing it myself. The consultant said that paracetamol was okay if the pain was bad (which I've had today) and that it was just managing it really. I've just over done it today I think, it's been bearable up until today!

laurenamium · 22/02/2015 16:44

Or was it pis?! Sorry to whoever it was for forgetting Blush

I love ikea pis did you get meatballs while you were there? Grin

Pisghetti · 22/02/2015 16:49

I'm vegetarian so that would be silly Grin I do love a quorn hotdog though. They didn't used to advertise them - they'd just be there in a secret compartment. I used to feel special sigh I'm looking forward to a visit after the baby comes and I can walk normally again!

batfish · 22/02/2015 17:05

Mmm I love ikea food, salmon is my fave! I'm starving and stuck in an accounts class and won't get home until 10.30 Sad But my wonderful mum who is visiting has a meat and potato pie waiting for me Smile

Decided today I'm going to stop being loopy and wait for my docs appt on 7th March instead of trying to bring it forward because I'm convinced something awful has happened for no particular reason. Let's see how long my resolve lasts!

Indigoblue2 · 22/02/2015 17:22

Ah that makes sense now la. For some reason I was thinking that because they now had the 2015 then you wouldn't be able to get the 2014, as it had totally replaced it. But of course there will still be 2014 stock on the go. I can't actually see your shade of green on the 2015 model, there is another green which I don't like as much.

Toast85 · 22/02/2015 17:26

Love the ikea meatballs. We are lucky to have ikea locally and I admit I have been in just for meatballs more than once.
First trimester tiredness is coming in waves- big one today. I have an appraisal at work in the next 2 weeks and am supposed to be doing some prep work... But I'm just staring at it and really just want to sleep.
Pie sounds good bat! Don't envy you with the 10.30 finish though!! I've got leftover roast chicken from yesterday which will be going in with pasta, pesto and roast veg. Hoping DH will sort the veg out for me so I can have a pre-dinner nap.

Indigoblue2 · 22/02/2015 17:29

Ummm... Am I right in thinking someone has changed their sex of child on the stats list from "find out on the day" to "secret"...?? la does this mean you are gonna find out?

gaggiagirl · 22/02/2015 17:50

Ikea food. Yum. The mac and cheese in the restaurant there is outrageously good.

DulcetMoans · 22/02/2015 18:00

I think mine is find out oh the day. I didn't change it but someone else might have for consistency!

I have pie tonight too bat. Chicken and veg though and I have to make it myself. Still, rainy day = pie day!

I'll go against the crowd and say I don't like ikea. I'm not as against it as DH who hates it, but find it a faff! And that one in town makes traffic a nightmare toast!?

Wore maternity jeans today. Am in love.

Indigoblue2 · 22/02/2015 18:02

dulcet I know yours is but I though la had said find out on the day too? Might be imagining things though!

LaLaLaaaa · 22/02/2015 18:15

Yup :)

I gave in. Dh really wants to know. I'm curious, but I don't want to tell anyone if we do find out.

Indigo I think they only do the green I've got in 2014 while stocks last. I loved the purple colour too. Not sure which colours the new one comes in Smile

RPopz · 22/02/2015 18:23

I luffs Ikea. Their breakfasts are the bomb Grin

Ooh exciting La - some friends of ours did that... but they told everyone that's what they'd done so people were nagging them all the time!

Lauren take it easy! Bloody hell woman! Shock
