Sorry to hear your news DontWorry hope you had some good cuddles with your boys Flowers

Cineraria · 16/02/2015 17:42

Sorry to hear your news, Don'tWorry. I hope you'll be ok and have lots of support from those close to you.

I have removed you from the Stats Sheet as you asked.

gingerbreadmam · 16/02/2015 17:42

so sorry baby thinking of u. i got lots of support on the mc board last year if you feel you need it. hope u get ur bfp soon.

thanks cineraria thats reassuring too.

ooh stuck i like it. i love to be organised too. dont know how i will get to 12 weeks without buying more.

i saw the snuzpod and next to me in babies r us. both of them looked really good with the next to me a bit cheaper. id like either of those but think id need a new bed as mine has a frame and the snuzpod or next to me wouldnt fit right to the mattress i dont think.

ooh what pram have you opted for? so far i like the look of the silvercross i think it is linear countryman or the mothercare orb in navy tan altho that seems to be sold out.

Toast85 · 16/02/2015 17:49

Advice needed please!
I've had a bit of clear or white cm since BFP, apart from this afternoon (6wks) I've started having very light brown cm too. Just a tiny tiny amount but it's definitely changed.

Do I worry about this? I have GP appointment on Thursday (just to get referred to midwife services I guess, haven't been yet since BFP) but if this brown stuff increases by the morning I was going to try and get a GP appointment tomorrow instead. Otherwise just wait until Thursday and discuss it then.

I've had a bit of cramping on and off since AF was expected, and definitely got some now but I wouldn't say it's any worse than it has been in the last 2 weeks.

Any advice please? Having a little freak out Confused

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 16/02/2015 17:51

I def won't be buying anything (unless a total bargain come up) until about 20 weeks.

I'll get a Baby Jogger City Versa GT.
We already have the City Mini GT but it won't go parent facing and that's a must for me. The Versa seat just folds down and the whole lot pulls together with one strap. I had an Oyster last time which was great but I can't be dealing with the whole removing the seat and then folding the chassis and then folding the seat! The Mini GT has spoiled us!! One fold only for me Grin

Hope I don't convince some of you to get it and end up bidding against you on eBay...Grin

raggymay · 16/02/2015 17:51

I'm so sorry dontworry. x
blue, try another test like clearblue digi. I test quite a bit with Internet cheapies and use digis just to confirm that the pregnancy is progressing. Hope everything is ok.
My period is now officially late and I got 2-3 weeks on the digi yesterday at 14dpo so I'm trying to relax a bit but I know from last time that you never stop worrying. I don't anyway!
I don't have any baby stuff to buy. We have it all from ds3 as he's only a year old. We only need to get 0-6 month clothes as we gave them to my SIL to help her out. Oh and in the unlikely event that it is a girl we might need a few less boyish clothes.

batfish · 16/02/2015 17:53

Dontworry I'm so sorry, hope you are OK, look after yourself.

ginger I am 6+3 and have no symptoms - had a scan at 5+5 and there was a heartbeat which was amazing and eased my mind a lot but I can still barely imagine all being fine given how common it is to have problems. I have very very very sore boobs (have been sleeping in a sports bra) and have done for almost 4 weeks now but otherwise absolutely fine. No nausea or weird taste or smell or any of that - I have had the odd wave of tiredness but not sure if pregnancy related or going-to-bed-too-late related. Would love a bit of nausea as reassurance! Next scan at 9 weeks so just keeping everything crossed all still looks good. Reckon if it is we will start to tell people after that.

Definitely haven't done any real or imaginary shopping - I know it won't make anything bad happen but if it does then I don't want to have got myself too used to the idea. Can't wait to get started though!

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 16/02/2015 17:53

Toast could it be implantation bleeding maybe?

raggymay · 16/02/2015 17:53

lookslike I have the Baby jogger city mini for ds3 and that is a great pushchair. So many other mums have gone through 2 or 3 by now and this one still works great. Definitely my best baby buy.

batfish · 16/02/2015 17:56

toast try not to worry (says the girl who after nearly 3 weeks since BFP is still checking for blood every 30 seconds) - all the info says that bleeding and spotting is really really common and nothing to worry about, some people even seem to have quite bad bleeding and everything is still fine. If you are worried then definitely try to get an appointment as there is nothing worse than worrying but hopefully it's nothing to be concerned about.

raggymay · 16/02/2015 18:01

Sorry for multiple messages but I've just seen toasts post. Brown blood is old blood and probably implantation so don't worry. It's worth getting checked out though for peace of mind. I had brown bleeding at 14-16 weeks last time and that was all implantation/hematoma related.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 16/02/2015 18:08

raggy they really are awesome prams, best thing I ever bought for DS I think. Just wish that they had the versatility of a parent facing seat on the one I already have!

catlady87 · 16/02/2015 18:14

Hi ladies. Found you all.

Been watching this thread and the fb group, hard to keep up with both! I am 6+2 today and feeling so sick. Haven't been sick, but feeling very nauseous when I get hungry but then eating makes it worse.

Also absolutely shattered. DH is being lovely but I don't think he really understands how bad I feel, I drove nearly 400 miles today for work, got home and feeling awful, he says 'why don't you go to the gym or for a run, you'll feel better!'

I don't think he realises that that just makes me feel worse because now I feel guilty for not doing those things.

Oh also did I mention I'm being irrational?!

Hope everyone is ok.

Xxx

LakeOfDreams · 16/02/2015 19:04

Brown tinged is old blood I still have that not enough to need a liner but enough to be obvious when I wipe. If you are worried call your GP. My theory is it's better to be seen and reassured that everything is fine than to sit at home alone worrying.

Sorry for losses people have had today

martinsgirl · 16/02/2015 19:04

catlady I read this morning that our bodies are currently working harder while resting than our husbands' bodies are when exercising. Maybe mention that to him!

Sorry to hear a few of you are having a hard time :)

I told my sister last week and she barely reacted to the news and has hardly mentioned it since. Was quite disappointed with her as our parents are both dead so we only really have each other as close family. Told my best friend yesterday though and she was really excited and so lovely about it :)

For those of you worrying about lack of nausea, I read that 80% of us get nausea and 50% will have vomiting so there's a fairly good chance you won't get it!

martinsgirl · 16/02/2015 19:08

That was supposed to be a sad face for those of you having a hard time! :( Flowers

MrsEvansAlmost · 16/02/2015 19:22

so sorrydon't worry Thanks Thanks

ginger I bought a pram last week its a 3 in one for £30 and I couldn't say no! whoops!

Twinkletoes007 · 16/02/2015 19:26

Hi toast. I am the queen of spotting on this thread!! I am 5 weeks and have had v light brown cm when wiping for the last few days. I saw the early pregnancy assessment unit today who said it is very common. I am, however, still very jealous of all the milky cm ladies on this bus! I think the time to worry is when it is accompanied by very severe acute cramping on one side. I would say you are fine to wait until your appointment on Thursday Smile.

Mrs Evans have you said anything to your mum or sister? I would be livid!! You poor thing.

Baby I'm so sorry. Look after yourself.

emmalemma87 · 16/02/2015 19:42

Hi ladies! I'm pregnant with baby #1 (6+2 weeks). Due 20th October. Morning sickness started middle of last week and is now quite bad. Any advice would be fab!

MrsEvansAlmost · 16/02/2015 19:43

no twinkle I was in such shock I just left my mums house. said something to my sister and she's said she's concerned for me because they struggled and didn't like it when I said that I'm not them and am in a better position financially compared to them!

OP posts:
emmalemma87 · 16/02/2015 19:46

Whoops sorry I meant to say due 10th October :)

gingerbreadmam · 16/02/2015 19:48

i am goin to google this mini jogger right away.

mrsevans what pram did you get?

i know what you mean about buying things and if something went wrong. this is my first and i didnt buy anything when i mmc'd and i regretted it. think its whatever suits. i am keeping everyhing baby related at my dms tho so if anything happened i wouldnt have to deal with that side of things.

toast as others have said try not to worry it is common and brown blood is old blood. can you contact your epu direct? might be worth a call if you are worried as a medical will put your mind at rest. if they have any cause for concern they will invite you in for a scan.

MrsEvansAlmost · 16/02/2015 19:48

twinkle I just walked out of my mums house and left the texts up on the screen.

my sister is claiming that its not bitching but I don't know how it could be anything other. she also said she doesn't want me to struggle like she did but got moody when I reminded her that I'm not her and am in a better position than she was when she had her first!

So sorry Dontworry. Ginger I had no symptoms at all with DD apart from a bit of sore boobs. I was pretty sure that at the 12 wk scan it would turn out that I'd just invented the whole thing! I would really like a bed-nest this time. Lifting a baby in and out of a Moses basket every 2 hours to feed her for 4 months was a right mission! I haven't heard of the next to me - I'll look it up, thanks! I have a Silvercross Surf in the loft that I was given by SiL (2nd hand) for DD. I don't like it much but can't really justify buying a new one! Those with older DC, do you think I'll need a double buggy if DD is 2 when this one is born?

catlady87 · 16/02/2015 20:04

I've looked at the Bednest and Snuzpod, Bednest looks the best to assemble, so easy and quick. Think will probably go for one of those.

They also do a rental option for £99 for 6 months with a new mattress. X
