It could possibly.
Thanks what. I'm just so nervous.

You're right doctordonna, they're not bad enough to call 111. Also would they do anything? at this point if im going to miscarry I guess I just will :/

Need to be positive though. Baby will be fine! :)

I'm finding that I'm quite sensitive to sugar and salt-anyone else?

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 08/02/2015 19:46

ambientolf I'm up towards Bury. Spent a lot of time at the trafford centre last maternity leave, will probably end up doing the same this time!

Sorry to hear so many ladies are worried, it's such a tough time in these early weeks.

alien11 · 08/02/2015 20:27

treaclepie I'm having exactly the same pains you describe! Am wondering if they are normal or not but shall find out tomorrow what's going on. If they get worse or you have any other things you are worries about defo call 111. I hope it's nothing to worry about and just the body preparing x

Treaclepie19 · 08/02/2015 20:40

Fingers crossed for you alien.

111 couldn't do anything I don't think. Baby was in the right place so if it's anything sinister I spose it'd be a miscarriage.
Hopefully it's all just growing cramps.

Little one is getting bigger after all! :) (hopefully)

good luck for your scan tomorrow alien!

I'm absolutely shattered tonight, fell asleep in bed while DH read stories to DS and DD. Looking forward to going back to bed in a bit!!

sauvblanc21 · 08/02/2015 21:02

Can't stop eating chocolate Grin there's a cupboard full in the kitchen (courtesy of good ol' hubbo) and it's calling to me...xx

mspfan · 08/02/2015 21:07

Good luck for tomorrow alien.

I think I now have my booking in appointment next Mon but it's with a gp not a midwife - is that normal? I know I have to provide a urine sample but that's all!

Also caved and booked an early scan for 21 Feb. I'll be 9 weeks then so hoping they can do it abdominally!

Kittykitty05 · 08/02/2015 21:23

Good luck for scans tomorrow alien and butterfly, remember the odds are in your favour.

I'm drinking chocolate milk tonight like its going out of fashion, can't normally stand the stuff! Oh well, it's amused DH a bit!

Chuch21 · 08/02/2015 21:34

treacle it was mainly the cramping that triggered the decision by my EPAU to scan me but everything is fine... Bit personal but they said something about if you usually suffer with period pains you may suffer more with cramping now (they've caused me to faint in the past), something to do with having less naturally stretchy ligaments or the oxygen supply being temporarily compressed due to stretching.

kitty I'm so with you on the chocolate milk front! Fantastic for heartburn too haha!

Treaclepie19 · 08/02/2015 21:35

See ive already had a scan so would they scan again?
I do normally have very bad periods so maybe it's just that?

OP posts:
GoooRooo · 08/02/2015 21:38

Treacle perhaps call EPAU in the morning and ask what they suggest? Hope the cramps ease off.

Butterfly and alien good luck at your scans tomorrow.

Treaclepie19 · 08/02/2015 21:45

Thanks x
They're not so bad at the moment. I sort of don't want to ring because it feels like I'm making it more real that there could be something wrong.
Plus I've heard cramps are quite common so trying not to worry.

Mummytogoldie · 08/02/2015 22:01

I had really bad pains this morning treacle and going to ring epau I'm the morning. They were sharp pains up my bum and bits and low backache and pressure like I needed to push, they lasted a couple of hours and I was really scared :(

Chuch21 · 08/02/2015 22:05

treacle I'm sure if it's something to worry about they wouldn't not scan you because you've been scanned before. But you're right it's more than likely nothing to worry about! Try and remember most mc's which happen are very obvious where you would 100% know there was something wrong...

Aren't pregnancy's just the most stressful gift?!

duckbilled · 08/02/2015 22:48

treacle like the others i an sure you will be fine but i wood give them a call in the morning Smile
jackie i am all about salt at the moment - especially olives and salt and vinegar crisps!

Tallalime · 09/02/2015 00:00

Evening Grin

Treacle, ring if you are worried. I always figure that it's better to reassure yourself. I must have looked like a loon several times with DD (both before she was born and after Blush ) but at least I knew she was OK. Even if I felt a bit silly afterwards Grin

I am around Stroud way. Have just moved down from Oxford. Though what I grew up in Penn. And was visiting my BFF in Hazlemere today.

Maths88 · 09/02/2015 05:58

Good luck to those with scans today! Treacle I hope you get some answers!

alien11 · 09/02/2015 06:06

Awake since 5 :( thanks for the good luck wishes. So so nervous and so so exhausted despite being asleep by 9 last night. Will let you know how I get on

DoctorDonnaNoble · 09/02/2015 06:12

Good luck to everyone who's having a scan today.

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 09/02/2015 06:20

Good luck today Alien. I'm sure everything will be fine!

I have been sat on the loo for half an hour this morning with a very upset stomach! Hmm I'll be ringing in sick to work today.
I'm not too sure if its normal or something to worry about! Its the 2nd time in a week! Then i hardly go in between. Cant win.

monkeymoonpig · 09/02/2015 07:06

Good luck to those with scans -another 2wks wait for me! Xx

DoctorDonnaNoble · 09/02/2015 07:12

Just over four weeks to my '12' week scan (will actually be 13 weeks). Odd that the guidance in my area is 10-13 weeks for that scan and I end up with an appointment right at the end of that period!
Feeling a lot less anxious after seeing the heartbeat on Friday not too long now before we can start telling everyone Grin

banterbus · 09/02/2015 07:34

Good luck for those having scans today.

Whatabout · 09/02/2015 07:40

Tallalime small world! I still find it weird that penn now has a music festival. My family all still live in the area but it's all changed so much.
