Yay Goo! Had my early scan at 8+3 too and they dithered over the dates.

Spent all of today laying carpets in our new house so just had a KFC with DF hehe.

Yes nathalie we must be due near enough the same time. I'll be 12+2 on Friday. Although I'm hoping I'm a bit further along. Apparently 2nd trimester ends after you enter your thirteenth week and I am desperate to be past this awful sickness!

Sauv mine was EPU, like Goo I had cramping and light bleeding.

Oh yes of course Chuch, was just going to say my midwife said that at early scans they can be out with dates so she said not to worry if dates given at an early scan don't match yours xxx

The consultant that scanned me told me not to take it as gospel at that stage Sauv I've just been going by it as I was still on the pill when we found out about our surprise little bean so I genuinely had no idea when I conceived x

My midwife wasn't too concerned by dates, they apparently take to notice now of your LMP date and just date at 12 week scan. On my notes she put due date as per my early scan although that is 4 days earlier than I reckon. By dates I'm 12 weeks today, but I'm another with scan on Friday so we shall see where that puts me! FX for good scans all round on Friday!

showtunes my diet is dreadful atm. As is my toddler's, but I just can't cook food without retching. Luckily we're staying with the ILs while buying a house so he has one cooked meal a day (when he decides to eat it, that is!).

My scan is 2nd March too, busy day for scans. Mine is at 8.30 and then I have a conference call at 9. Cutting it fine and I'll have to blag it.

I'm sitting on my sofa sipping coke and feeling wretched. I've been retching so much today and feeling dizzy. Work was horrendous too as one of my managers was in a picky mood.

Just want to sit and cry.

I'm 8 weeks today, first baby and had my booking in appt today. Was so surreal. Still feel like I'm talking about someone else being pregnant! If I didn't feel so awful I don't think I'd believe it at all

Ive got my 12 week scan on 3rd March! I'll be 12+6.
Its too far away! I cant wait that long to see all is ok!
I have felt really well since about 8/9 weeks so need the reassurance! However my growing belly should be putting me at ease! There's no doubting im pregnant at the moment! I'm showing far earlier this time round!
Oh and ive ordered an angel sounds fetal Doppler too . Not sure if thats a good or bad thing! Cant wait for it to come.

12 wks today - finally! Unless my cycle is massively messed up, i will be officially in 2nd trimester at scan next Tues.

Have tried explaining to DS (age 2.5) thag he needs to be gentle with mummy as there's a little baby on mummy's tummy. His response - "no there isn't!" "NO!" Lets hope he's a bit happier in 6mths time! Must be quite confusing for his little brain to get around, kept looking at his own tummy wondering if there's a baby lol. When i told him he was once in mummy's tummy the answer again was " no i wasn't!" Laughing at me, thinks its all a joke! i said it would be like baby Alexander from Peppa and he seemed to like that idea

Hey sorry I've not been around much - I've just been working, eating and sleeping as I'm so tired! Half term is next week here and it can't come soon enough!

Had a slight lie in this morning as I have a midwife appointment in a bit. My blood pressure was a bit on the high side last time so she wanted to see me again to check it and see if anything needs to happen about it. Now I admit that I am a very large woman so this could be expected but I have always had good or nearing low blood pressure so I am quite surprised by this.

Normally when I have had my Bp taken in the past they've used the larger cuff but she didn't and just asked me to hold it at the fastening - could this affect the reading?
