Goo fingers crossed all is ok for you.

Hare and ljj my friend is a trainee midwife at the PRU. I could probably have gone there but opted for St Helier instead as it's easier to get to. My nearest is Mayday (Croydon) but definitely wanted to avoid that one!

Had my booking in appt with gp yesterday so now impatiently waiting to hear from the midwife with scan date.

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 18/02/2015 06:00

Flowers goo

Will be thinking about you today xx

SpamAnderson · 18/02/2015 06:53

Good luck today goo

Bleurgh, today is a morning sickness day. I swear I threw up apple juice.... I haven't had Apple juice for a few days :/

alien11 · 18/02/2015 07:03

Good luck today goo

MyNameIsSuz · 18/02/2015 07:04

Oh no Gooo, I hope it goes ok later.

I think a Facebook group could be a good idea, as long as it was all secret and locked down. Think my brain might explode seeing what people actually look like and their real names though!

shinjuku09 · 18/02/2015 07:25

Really hope your scan is positive gooroo. Thinking of you.

I'm happy to go on Facebook as and when someone sets it up!

alien11 · 18/02/2015 07:41

My sept 2011 migrated to fb once babies were here. Still in touch now. It's a secret group so no worries re anyone seeing anything. In fact they know I'm pregnant before my sis and bro do!

mrsdos · 18/02/2015 07:54

Good luck today Goo Thanks

I am feeling so sick this morning, cracker crumbs poss left in bed to find later! Have managed to talk dh into driving me to work as in a different office for the day. Although just realised if they get fed up of looking at my green sickly face I have to wait for him to collect me Sad

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 18/02/2015 07:54

Facebook sounds like a good idea, though don't think I'd want to cone over until family are told and it's public knowledge in case anyone there knows me!

Just up and having breakfast, MW is coming at 9 for booking appt. Hopefully all straightforward!

whereswaldo · 18/02/2015 07:59

I'm 9 weeks today and worrying about my symptoms reducing. Boobs are def less sore and although I never felt that sick in the first place, I think that is lessening too.

Felt v faint on the tube yesterday morning but that's it. Is this normal?

No pain or bleeding or anything like that so I'm convinced it's going to be a missed miscarriage. Booking in appt tomorrow so going to ask midwife but anyone else experiencing similar?

Weareboatsremember · 18/02/2015 08:00

My September 2013 group also moved once the babies started being born. The risk with moving too early is that people who are looking a little bit later for a September 2015 antenatal club thread will not be able to find one. I vote for leaving it for much longer. Plus people are able to be more candid when they're anonymous on mn. When there's a photo and a real person, it's harder to talk about your bowel movements!

ISolemnlySwearImUptoNoGood · 18/02/2015 08:15

Goo keeping everything crossed for you Flowers good luck

Ugh I feel rotten today. Have a thirst that can't be quenched and nausea that just won't chuff off. Feeling very moany (is that a word?) oh shut up Solemnly!

I wouldn't be able to move over to Facebook. I'm not on there. Must be the only person in the world these days!

Jessica32 · 18/02/2015 08:37

Solemnly, I'm not on facebook either but we are very rare!
So I won't be joining you all, but wish you luck. Does mean I'd agree with weareboats about you all moving later!

Whereswaldo, I've been reading stats since pregnant as generally they're actually reassuring. Apparently only 1 percent of pregnancies end with a mmc, so if you've had no bleeding your odds are good. You'd by a lottery ticket! I know that's no consolation to those poor ladies who have suffered one though.

Treaclepie19 · 18/02/2015 08:38

Gosh that seems low Jessica, definitely reassuring.

solemnly have you tried ice lollies?

OP posts:
GoooRooo · 18/02/2015 08:51

Thanks everyone. The bleeding has stopped over night but the cramping has got much, much worse. Scan is at 6pm. I appreciate all the good vibes!

MyNameIsSuz · 18/02/2015 08:54

Whereswaldo, I think symptoms do often tail off around 9 weeks, I've had barely anything for weeks now.

ISolemnlySwearImUptoNoGood · 18/02/2015 08:58

Treacle I'm on ice chips at the moment but I can't make the chips fast enough so going out to get some of those cheap scooby doo type one, loads in a box. It's driving me mad now, woke up in the night with tongue velcro-d to the roof of my mouth Hmm

Redsparklyshoes · 18/02/2015 09:04

Due date 1st Sept so just squeezed into the September club! 12 week scan today and I'm so anxious I wish they gave me a morning appointment!
I'm 12 weeks 1 day according to MW but will see what shows on the scan!
Hoping I haven't just had phantom symptoms and put on an additional tummy!!
Good luck allSmile

Mummyboo30 · 18/02/2015 09:14

Solemnly and Jessica, I'm not on there either, so that makes 3 of us!
I used to be, but I got sick of DB changing the privacy rules all the time. I was also somewhat addicted to checking it many times a day...
12 weeks tomorrow! :)

whereswaldo · 18/02/2015 09:33

Thanks everyone and Jessica that is reassuring. I guess I ve read more on here about mmc then I would have heard in real life so winding myself up. Haven't had an early scan either which is making me feel even more in the dark.

Super good luck Goo fingers crossed for you.

Chuch21 · 18/02/2015 10:05

wheres I'm 10+1 today and my symptoms definitely dropped off after 9 weeks, trying to think of it as a positive as saw little bean at 8+3 (although I know that doesn't guarantee safety)
Also my pg app says to expect dizziness and light headed spells around 9-10 weeks (maybe your symptoms have changed rather than disappeared Smile)

Fingers crossed for you Goo I know it might be natural, maybe even best, to prepare for the worst, but I did have bleeding and cramps like you and it was all ok. Sending all the luck in the world Flowers

showtunesgirl · 18/02/2015 10:24

Is anyone else eating rubbish? I'm usually a complete foodie but all I want is Fray Bentos pie with mash and a packet of Scampi Fries.

Oh the shame.

SpamAnderson · 18/02/2015 10:29

showtunes my diet consists of peanut butter on various bread products (mostly crumpets and pitta bread), pork scratchings and the occasional sweet to get my blood sugar up!

ISolemnlySwearImUptoNoGood · 18/02/2015 10:30

Oooo fray bentos...good idea.
