Lastnight, I want to find some pregnancy yoga too - last time I loved it but the one I went to isn't on any more :-( I'm still belly dancing at the moment but when that gets too much I might start a class in Abingdon run by the lady I did buggyfit with.

sauvblanc21 · 17/02/2015 18:08

Both my GP and my midwife have recommended pregnancy yoga Smile both for prepping body and meeting fellow preggos. I didn't want to start anything until I'd seen speckle's heartbeat (as I did at early scan yesterday!) so gonna start next week. I live just outside Bristol and there's a highly recommended one really close to me that you can continue after the birth - and take baby along! Sounds lovely!! Xx

Mummyboo30 · 17/02/2015 18:14

I'm planning on going to pregnancy yoga too, although around here they don't let you go until you are 14 weeks, so a couple of weeks still to wait. :)

banterbus · 17/02/2015 18:48

I'd like to do pregnancy yoga too. Could that count as paid time off work for antenatal care do you think? Will be hard to fit it in when I work 6 days a week at the moment! I'm 9 weeks tomorrow, nearly at double figures yay Grin

Had lovely scan today, baby is measuring 11+6 which is exactly what we thought. Little monkey seemed to be very chilled, with one hand up waving at us and very kicky legs. Due date now confirmed as 2/9/15. Seems so real when you see a whole tiny person on the screen. Anyone else being looked after by Darent Valley?

Elsa, I follow SW, I don't really understand why anyone would disagree with you doing it, it's basic healthy eating, particularly if you do EE!! x

DefinitelyNotElsa · 17/02/2015 19:36

Hare - I completely agree! The midwife was lovely about it though, as she has lost a significant amount of weight recently. She said her hands are tied by policy, but that following a healthy eating plan at home (such as SW, ahem ahem) was a great idea.

ljjeffro · 17/02/2015 19:41

hare Darent Valley is my local hospital but im under Princess Royal (only cos 4 of my friends went there and said how nice it was). I had a choice of Darent, PRU or Queen Elizabeth

itssangriaoclock · 17/02/2015 20:00

Had my booming today also, although in my trust they still recommend have whooping cough even if had in recent years to this baby until baby immunisations.

Guavasforbreakfast · 17/02/2015 20:18

shinjuku Reuben was what I wanted to call S! DH chose S though (it was his favourite) as I was so out of it and was really upset that he 'didn't have a name'! Everyone said that I'd see his face and know what to call him, but that didn't happen at all - I just called him baba for two weeks as he just didn't seem to have a name. Bloody new baby hormones...

I had American pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup today - I saw a lady in a cafe window with them and couldn't walk away. Mmmmm.

I've already put on 2 kilos lalunya - I'd lost more than that by this point last time and didn't regain pre pregnancy weight til almost 5 months. The reduced vomiting is great, but I'm going to be a whale at the end of it!

Natalie our July 2014 group went over to Facebook around the time the babies were born, it was lovely as we got to see all the photos (and still do now they're loopy toddlers!). We still have a lovely friendly group on there and I do prefer Facebook as I find the mn threads harder to follow, most of us found it hard to keep up with the mn thread after that though.

Bippidee · 17/02/2015 20:34

Oooooft. Stuffed full of pancakes now.

My booking, first scan and bloods are all being done in one appt on Friday.

Spent DD's nap writing stuff down to discuss in it!

Guavasforbreakfast · 17/02/2015 20:38

Oops July 2013 not 2014!! Confused

Boodlymummy · 17/02/2015 20:42

A special milestone here after weeks of nausea misery...mummy's first pregnancy vomit! ConfusedEnvySad

TMI warning!

Picture the scene this morning ... while brushing my teeth on the loo, the scent of my own normal non-offensive pooing triggered wretching strong enough to make me spray my entire mouthful of toothpaste up the wall, and the sight of that triggered instant vomiting!! Up came my breakfast, lovely!

It was gross, but the comedy of the scene tickled me. Note to self: with a sensitive gag reflex and sense of smell, no teeth brushing on loo!

GoooRooo · 17/02/2015 20:42

I've started bleeding after two days of cramping. I am so upset. Private scan is tomorrow night. 8 + 2 today.

DefinitelyNotElsa · 17/02/2015 20:46

Oh Gooo, I'm so sorry to hear that. Keeping everything crossed for you. ??

Hare5260 · 17/02/2015 20:46

ljeff I'm smack bang in between PRU and DVH but getting to DVH will be a lot quicker if it all goes a bit crazy and we need to get there quickly. Would have preferred the PRU to be honest - parking doesn't seem to be such a problem to start with!!

shinjuku09 · 17/02/2015 20:47

Congrats on today's good scans!

Eeugh Boodly thanks for sharing that Grin. I'll only brush while weeing for that reason!!

Guavasforbreakfast I have for years been meaning to try pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Are they really nice?? Yes I couldn't have coped without DD having a name so I think I forced DH to commit to a name beforehand! Reuben is lovely isn't it.

Whatabout · 17/02/2015 20:53

goo fingers crossed you get good news tomorrow xx
