NatalieBee · 11/02/2015 23:47

I am the same! Over 11 weeks and I have a definite rounding in my stomach, though I'm sure everyone thinks I'm piling on the pounds lol!!

It's 2345 and I'm having an ice lolly..go away nausea Hmm

Mummyboo30 · 12/02/2015 00:31

Same here monkey! Can't complain really, everything has been reasonably ok so far, just hoping that I've just been lucky really! Not long now. Brew

Maths88 · 12/02/2015 05:39

I've often got blood in my nose too and constantly seem to have a cold but no actual nosebleeds. Pregnancy is strange isn't it?!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 12/02/2015 06:10

Morning all. Haven't got a reservation as you can't reserve seats on trains out of our little station. Fortunately, it's a terminal so should be ok on the way out. It's getting a seat on the way back from Liverpool Street in the evening that could be a problem.Confused

sauvblanc21 · 12/02/2015 07:02

Feeling reeeally bloated and really sick today. Haven't actually been sick yet but it's threatening, hubbo has left me in bed with a mixing bowl! Have had to phone in sick but will have to go in tonight for GCSE Options Eve til 9pm - yuk - hope I'm feeling better then....

Hope everyone has a lovely day xxx

alien11 · 12/02/2015 07:03

Exciting stuff with the 12 week scans approaching!
I downloaded a great app yday. The pregnancy+ app by health and parenting. It gives some beautiful images of growing baby.
6+2 here now.still down they I've been put back and slightly worried about it. Hope little blob is growing ok.

One thing I keep reading is"have a nap in the daytime it will help your body"
Er...how?! Sorry dd mummy's just got to go and have a nap !haha
By 5pm when dh walks through the door I am done.up@6 today, dog walked ,dishwasher unloaded & loaded.im now laying on my bed until dd wakes up.then it's get her ready, brekkie etc.me shower etc.then washing machine needs unloading, hoovering, tidying as have friend coming round @10...she has 3 girls-3.5 yrs old , 2 yrs and 2 months . So once they leave it's tidy up time again.
Sorry for the ramble Sad I just want the world to stop for a bit so I can have a nap /play with dd rather than constantly be doing stuff.
The thought of doing it all with 2 petrifies me'

SpamAnderson · 12/02/2015 07:21

drdonna my nose has been swollen one side and had tiny bleeds from it and it keeps scabbing up! Apparently it's just due to the hormones affecting the blood vessels.

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 12/02/2015 07:25

Donna one day a few weeks ago I was feeling rotten - had a quiet word with the guard who let me sit in first class, they normally do this but not til 20 weeks. Worth a try if you're worried? Do you have the network rail app so you can work out the platform ahead of time?

Drove to the big station today as taking my team out for dinner and trains on our branch are sporadic at best later on. Thankfully this gives me a perfect excuse as to why I'm not drinking! Going to a really nice Lebanese restaurant so just need to steer clear of the spicy sausage (sounds like something from the JS thread!) which I know will give me atrocious indigestion!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 12/02/2015 07:30

I should be alright getting back from Liverpool Street. My dad trained me well! It's just never going to be pleasant on a rush hour train heading out to Essex.

Treaclepie19 · 12/02/2015 07:30

So ill overnight with a d&v bug :-(((( There's nothing I need to worry about is there? Just drink lots of water to replace fluids..?

alien11 · 12/02/2015 08:34

Oh ag123 you poor thing! Yes lots of water and maybe eating tiny amounts of dry toast when feeling a bit better? I hope you are better super soon!

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 12/02/2015 09:15

Great news Elsa that made me tear up a bit, can't keep a hold of my emotions at the mo Grin

Laura hope it's been ok overnight, fwiw I think getting rest was the right thing to do Flowers

Lauramum23 · 12/02/2015 09:24

Still no pains but more blood it's not massive amounts still quite brown but a little red sometimes mainly when I go to loo, I feel so sick tho and headache I've had some paracetamol and I am not doing anything today, midwife have booked me into epu at 9 in the morning so my mum will have to come to take kids to school, nil by mouth tonight, they will scan and swab me and will they remove it there and then? Or will I have to go back ? Midwife said it could be any number of reasons but I'll prepare for bad newsHmm not a good feeling! I've had 3 pregnancies that I've sailed thru so it's a weird feeling.

GoooRooo · 12/02/2015 09:26

Laura if it is a MC they may not remove it at all. I had a MC last year and because I was already bleeding they said the best thing was to let it happen naturally - which it did a few days later. I had to go back for a scan after that to make sure it was all gone.

I have everything crossed that this is just some spotting and not a MC Flowers

Lauramum23 · 12/02/2015 09:35

Did yours start like that just a bit of spotting? How many weeks were you? I think it's better for it to happen like this than weeks down the line, I'm just so cheesed cos the kids know! The big one was poking about on my phone I would never have told them this early. And yesterday he blabbed in the school office ffs how embarrassing! She rang me and said that she had to inform me of a suspected rubella case in key stage 1 where my youngest is, I said well it is very early and I wouldn't have told anyone yet! Ironic really when I'd just been to midwife that day, hey ho!

Treaclepie19 · 12/02/2015 09:46

Laura when I miscarried it started with lots of bright red blood.
I'm hoping this is just pregnancy bleeding for you x

Panhaggis · 12/02/2015 09:47

Treaclepie I've noticed the gag reflex too, brushing my teeth last night made me sick and when I blew my nose to clear it (ugh, sorry!) I got quite a full on nosebleed. Lovely!

Lauramum23 · 12/02/2015 09:49

Ok thanks treacle, I'm sat on settee with some dairy milk and a cuppa and I'm gonna watch my big fat Greek wedding! And wallow in self pity and probably google all day!

Treaclepie19 · 12/02/2015 09:51

pan, glad it's not just me.
I've got a bit of a cold too so I'm all bunged up which isn't helping.

Laura I hope the time passes quickly for you x

Up in the middle of the night with dd being sick. Did pretty well to keep my own dinner down, cleaning up the mess! :(
All feeling a bit sorry for ourselves with tiredness and the queasies.
Hope everyone else feels better soon.

GoooRooo · 12/02/2015 10:31

Mine was lots of bright red blood too Laura. I was 10 weeks, but the baby had stopped growing at 6.

TheMidnightHour · 12/02/2015 10:48

Hello you chatty lot! Glad to see some good news (and twins!) in the 400+ messages I've been wading through :) Hope everyone else is OK. Fx for you laura.

Can I have a non-pg-related moan? I'm really feeling like I live in the middle of nowhere. We moved just before xmas, for good reasons, and were only expecting to be here 6 months. With little bean on the way though, we're thinking of staying a couple years. But it's like being on the dark side of the moon (the moan, perhaps) without a car (DP needs it to get to work). I work from home, and am looking for the odd class / coffee morning / craft group / something I can do to meet a few people. But everything seems to be only for over 55s, on break for 3 months, be 10+ miles away and/or in a village I can only get to by spending 2h30 on 3 buses. :-/ Will have a car after the birth, but that doesn't help now!

Bump (bloat bulge!) wise, all seems OK - the few symptoms I was having died down after I hit week 11. Now waiting to find out when the scan will be and trying not to worry :)
