Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I think the women that work in the shops near me either just don't want to help or I have a look that says don't help! I would have loved a pushchair and car seat demonstration when I was shopping but every shop I went in and asked about they just pointed me vaguely in the direction of the pushchairs and left me to struggle!

My friends husband has been to look at the car and showed me how to drive it for now, he's going to have a proper look at it at the weekend but hopefully it's just air in the pipes mixed with the cold!

LaLaLaaaa · 06/02/2015 18:15

That's good Lauren (car not rude ladies ). That's such a shame the shop ladies are not more helpful. This lady showed us the different systems, collapsed them for us and gave us her honest opinion which was nice as actually the cheaper one turned out to suit our needs better. I feel bad for not buying it from her and going online but in my defence she only had the blue and cream ones and I wanted green! spoiled brat la

Wil that's totally what happens in labour right?? Grin you sound tired, I hope Mr Wil is helping out? Is microwil over the reflux?

My friend called her baby Zoe. Lovely name!

LaLaLaaaa · 06/02/2015 18:28

I'm drinking becks blue non alco. It's really chuffing nice !

Fleurchamp · 06/02/2015 19:06

I really fancy a glass of wine! First time so far this pregnancy.

What are the thoughts? If I can drag DH to the pub they do 125ml glasses, hmmm. But I would feel so bad Confused

cookielove · 06/02/2015 19:30

la we have the iso fix family base, the only issue we had in the beginning was that the setting for the carseat was too close to the seat so putting the carseat in was really tricky we then realised we could position it further back without affecting the security of the base. Now it is really easy to take in and out. My mum doesn't have iso-fix and it is a total pain in the butt putting him in there trying when we want to leave the carseat in the car! It is the the crystal maze manipulating him and the seat belt Grin

teejayem · 06/02/2015 20:15

fleur - I'm having a small red as I type. It's friday, and I am having some cheese on biscuits. Lime cordial just doesn't cut it. I've probably had 1-2 glasses like this since xmas, so I don't feel bad at all.

hi all. I had the pooing/sneezing/coughing/weeing out embryo fear from the second the nurse told me to sit up and get off the theatre bed! I'm still not 100% convinced they didn't fall out on the walk back to the ward!

cookie hi! I'm testing daily. bfn so far but official test day not until Wednesday.

townsender · 06/02/2015 20:20

Hi Toast Welcome! You're right, there's a few of us due around the same time. I've put myself on the September due thread (not that I post there a lot - moves pretty quick!) but they all seem a lot further on than me, and I'm not really sure when my due date is, so might switch allegiance to the Oct thread instead.

bat I agree that you'll have to tell them, and it'll be so nice when you do. For your early scan, definitely worth having one as you've got it booked, as long as you don't expect a heartbeat. I felt more positive after mine (even though this feels the longest week ever, waiting for repeat scan on Wednesday). Reason were 1) it confirmed I was definitely pg - hard to believe if you have no symptoms 2) it was in the right place - ectopic pg is a scary scary thing 3) there was just 1. Much as I like the idea of twins, I have no faith at all in my womb carrying more than one to anywhere near term. So a relief.

Fleur Wine definitely. Have dinner first (or have Wine with dinner) and drink slowly and it will not make one jot of difference. Sounds like you and DH need a good pub trip. Hope you manage to persuade him.

chat sorry you're feeling bored and fedup. It must be really tough being in a new country on your own. Did you say where you lived now (I've completely forgotten)

cookielove · 06/02/2015 20:24

lil very exciting! When I was in early pregnancy with Elijah I had the worst cold i was worried I would sneeze him out Blush Confused

TheBooMonster · 06/02/2015 20:34

fleur try and get some Eisberg (Morrison's definitely sell it) if you haven't tried it already. just not the red. It's alcohol removed wine and isn't that bad...

Any news on zyla?

lauren I seem to recall I had to ask someone to demonstrate the pram I wanted, and even then they seemed more happy to unhook it from the anti steal lock and let me wander round with it than to actually show me how to up and down in Hmm

Investigated the closing down mama's and papa's store near me today, managed to get a couple of little bargains but it was pretty picked through already...

DulcetMoans · 06/02/2015 20:40

Oh yes, the risk of it dropping out in the toilet. I know pregnant ladies have been pooing for years but it could happen to me!

Go for it fleur, just a little one drunk slowly if it makes you happy.

First big purchase then la! When will you get it?

Are you there for a fixed amount of time too chat?

Slightly shitty week at work has ended with my neighbour shouting at me and now I can't stop thinking about it. Went to get a parcel at about 6pm and she came to door saying I shouldn't knock the door at night as she's alone and she doesn't have a parcel. She was quite angry and I feel awful. (It was more aggressive than I made it sound there!)

LaLaLaaaa · 06/02/2015 20:49

dulcet how odd! I hate it when parcels get delivered to my neighbour because my cat poos in her garden and she hates me. Is she usually nice? Buggy arrives on Monday - woohoo!

fleur go for it - I had one last Sunday with dinner. as long as you drink slowly and over an hour or so it's fine. I think limit they recommend is 125ml.

Someone's just told me Brewdog do a new Nanny State non-alco beer and it's dead nice. Need to get dh to order me some (he works in bars)

Hope you're ok zyla!

willywallace · 06/02/2015 20:50

Are you kidding me Dulcet? I'm hoping she's pretty old or there's no excuse for that. Where is your parcel then? Our neighbours once came to the door at 10.30pm for a parcel and rang the bell. I kind of thought that was taking the piss but 6pm?!

When is my frigging bleeding going to let up? So over it now.

townsender · 06/02/2015 21:04

dulcet your neighbour sounds slightly crazy. Although a knock on the door at 6pm is usually someone asking for money. Maybe she just prepares herself to be angry at them and then can't snap out of it when it's someone else?
Who has your parcel, I wonder? Guess you're too scared to try any more door knocking !?

DulcetMoans · 06/02/2015 21:27

She is old, which is why I feel bad. I thought 6pm wasn't too bad. All her lights were on so knew she was up. She's really mixed la, if I see her outside she's usually nice but has left notes on cars for parking in front of her house by like half a metre and came to ask my wedding car when it would be moving when they were picking me up on wedding day. Like I always have a rolls royce parked outside my house!

I think it was a bit that town as had to tell her I was from next door. I don't want to go round again but DH will try in daytime tomorrow. Where is my parcel?!

When is it meant to stop wil? Is there a time frame?

Purplecircle · 06/02/2015 21:32

Dulcet she sounds unhinged!
La, nice wheels
I've had a long meeting and a 5 hour drive home and no nap! Managed ok though, distraction worked :-)
Told my director and she was chuffed. No one else though

Was meant to be at a friends 40th tonight but by the time I got home there was no way. I was going to tell her tonight so ended up by text when I let her know we weren't going. Feel a bit bad about it, she didn't make it mine as her child was ill.

Still parking it for scan on Sunday. Off for a wax tomorrow morning so she'll be able to find my fanjo if it's dildocam

Might do more babyshop mooching whilst DH is at football

Epic post tonight.

Zyla hope you have breathed her out delicately with no pain Smile

lildottie · 06/02/2015 21:41

dulcet yanbu to knock for your parcel at 6pm. assuming she did take it in she must've realised you weren't there because you were at work so were likely to collect when you got home from work! she's an idiot!

zyla I'm hoping ur silence means your being loud elsewhere and pushing!

LaLaLaaaa · 06/02/2015 22:07

Can I ask if any of you were tested for strep b please? Colleague with 1 year old sent me email the other day about it, telling me I should get test. It was first thing id heard about it. Now I see there's a thread on AIBU about it.

Is it something I should ask for?

lildottie · 06/02/2015 22:12

hadbt a clue ehat it was so googled and found this website which seems to suggest even if you get tested false negatives are common. I think if it was a major problem you'd be tested as standard but it can't hurt to ask mw about it

LaLaLaaaa · 06/02/2015 22:19

On another note have you seen this? hilarious!

willywallace · 06/02/2015 22:20

MrWil told me after labour that my bikini wax hadn't been thorough enough Purple so get it done right ! Grin

Hope all is going well Zyla and that the pessary isn't giving you too much grief.

Think anything up to 6 weeks Dulcet. Mine had almost gone and then got heavier which Dr Goofle says means I need to stop doing so much. Obviously Dr Goofle has someone else to help him with his kids Hmm .

LaLaLaaaa · 06/02/2015 22:24

Oh wil I missed the bit about you bleeding! Is it heavy?

RPopz · 06/02/2015 22:25

Mine is still going Wil - 5 weeks! Shock It keeps looking like it's stopping and then reappearing with a vengeance the next day! Angry

Dulce that is a bit out of order... Hmm What's her problem?? Hope you find your parcel...

Just popped on to see if we had a mini Zyla yet!!!

willywallace · 06/02/2015 22:26

My friend has that but don't know how she found out La. Will ask her.

willywallace · 06/02/2015 22:28

I've convinced myself it means I have a prolapse Popz. Me, hypochondriac? Not at all.
