Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 21st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 38th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

that doesn't sound like what I've got so I don't think it's braxtons.

wil they are cruelty or abandonment cases - either we seize them or they are abandoned in a field and we go and rescue them. Depending on what state they're in we then go through assessment and rehabilitation, sometimes they can be in care for a couple of years before they are ready for rehoming. This one was a cruelty case poor boy :(

laurenamium · 07/02/2015 15:23

Oh la what a rewarding thing to do! I would end up with them all living with me though!

I woke DP up before the salon and told him he better get himself to the gym Grin I asked him last night to watch DD while I had my hair cut this morning and he told me he was going to the gym- no class or anything it just had to be then apparently...so I woke him up so he didn't miss it Grin he's since apologized and gone off to play with his friends for the night. I'm so tired all of a sudden so having a sofa lie down and ignoring housework for an hour!

zyla fingers crossed things get moving for you soon!

townsender · 07/02/2015 16:06

zyla thats rubbish but I guess not a surprise - at least the baby is happy and sounds like you are being very closely monitored.

I'd not heard of Toni Braxtons - are they the same as Braxton Hicks?

Lauren, ditto, am shattered this afternoon, supermarket shop just now nearly killed me. Having a sofa lie-down, watching ANOTHER rugby game (DP is here on the sofa too).

We're going to a friends house for dinner tonight. She's just round the corner, so no driving excuse possible. I think I'm just going to say I'm not drinking for 'health and fertility' and leave it at that. Might end up admitting an early pg. Will see how it goes. Just feels a bit wrong to tell people before our parents know. Any thoughts?

LaLaLaaaa · 07/02/2015 16:17

Towns - antibiotics? Always good excuse

Toni braxtons are same as braxton hicks. It's just a funny nickname

How are you zyla!?

ChatEnOeuf · 07/02/2015 17:04

Come on baby Zyla! We're all waiting for you Grin

In Belgium, until Aug 2016...tick tock. DH is here and a moaning, lazy, mess-creating PITA as much as he's away with work. Tried to have it out with him yesterday and all I got back was hormonal blah, my job is hard blah, at least you can meet people blah. Just doesn't get it and seems to think it's so much harder for him despite every single one of his colleagues telling him otherwise. Baby.

But they do test for strep b here. As well the NHS should. Rare but deadly in hours - once seen, never forgotten. I did it privately last time at 35 weeks and I would again without question - and I'm as tight as anything when it comes to paying extra for stuff Grin

RPopz · 07/02/2015 17:40

Toni Braxtons are just when your bump goes all hard and weird in one place... I always used to think it was the baby sticking his bum out until someone pointed out otherwise!

Eek Zyla - what's next? The drip? How's your bp? x

willywallace · 07/02/2015 17:42

Terrible they don't tell you anything about it. My friend was told she had it but they didn't tell her what it was or the risks. So obviously she googled which is never a good idea. I've no idea if I have it or not as I imagine most people don't.

I've done bugger all today. How lovely.

LaLaLaaaa · 07/02/2015 17:55

chat grrrrr he sounds like he's being vvvvvvv unreasonable! Is there any chance of you being able to work there?

I'm gearing up to go to work at the bar. Done face mask, nails, house is clean (ish), washing done, healthy fruit n yoghurt eaten (I was reading Glamour at the time who guilted me out of my usual cheese pre work snack).

Dh has bought tonnes of fruit and veg in the weekly tesco delivery. Fridge is packed. I will have to make sure we bloody use it! Trying to be healthy...

LaLaLaaaa · 07/02/2015 17:59

I'll ask about strep at 24 wk appointment.

I wonder if people will be funny about being waited on by someone with a 18 week baby bump. I've not seen any of the customers since I got pg as I was too nauseous to work, so they're going to get a bit of a surprise!

townsender · 07/02/2015 18:52

La that should be fun, hope you get lots of nice comments from the customers! Take it easy though - make sure you sit down as much as you can.

Antibiotics won't work I don't think - they kind of know I'm trying so don't want to tell an outright lie that they are unlikely to believe anyway.

Chat he sounds like he's being an idiot and needs to get a grip. Of course it's harder for you!! Is he not meeting loads of people AT WORK??
I lived and worked in Brussels about 5 years ago, and work is where I met pretty much everyone there that I knew. It takes a lot of energy and motivation to go outside and meet strangers in a new place, and I can imagine that you've not necessarily had that energy...growing a baby and everything.

teejayem · 07/02/2015 19:22

Dirty spoon situation resolved! Finally! Grin

I got tested for strep b when I had to go for bonus bleed scan.. But it's not something my hospital usually do by all accounts.

Also noticed that I get the Toni's if I need to wee and hold it too long.

Have discovered fosters Radler! Delicious and only 2%!

laurenamium · 07/02/2015 20:45

Good job on bring healthy la! I've just got back from a meal out with DD, my parents and a cousin who is over from Australia for the weekend before he goes off travelling Europe! No healthy here BlushGrin

I was going to do some wedding organising tonight but I just can't be bothered now! So sofa and then an early night for me! Hope everyone's okay!

Have you done a big sneeze and pood the baby out yet zyla? Grin

couldhavebeenme · 07/02/2015 21:03

Zyla hope things are happening for you would totally be begging for a CS by now!

I ate the most enormous amount of cake and ice cream tonight. Sigh. Not exactly the best way to make it easy to lose the pregnancy weight afterwards?! Plus may now need gaviscon....

willywallace · 07/02/2015 21:29

Ah don't worry Could, I ate like crap through my whole pregnancy and I don't look THAT bad just now. Did seriously consider entering a 5k tonight to motivate me to get my arse into gear but should probably wait a while to survey the damage first.

Come on baby zyla!!

How are you getting on with wedding planning Lauren?

Pisghetti · 07/02/2015 22:12

I've been drinking the 0% radler for a while - quite nice! Meant to say La I buy the brewdog stuff in tesco. I'm having one at the moment.

I couldn't feel Toni Bs with DS but get loads this time. Like someone has pulled the strings on an internal girdle.

It's been a successful Saturday - started the day with some mucky cutlery, went to a friend's house and ate my body weight in pizza, DS has borrowed some electronic drums so he's a happy teenager (a rare sight...), too full for dinner but remembered to eat dates, planned a weekend trip to Bath (which has turned into a day trip instead) with hot water spas and afternoon tea.

ChatEnOeuf · 07/02/2015 22:44

Thanks viroids, feel better having ranted here. No real chance of working here sadly, it would take 8-9m to get registration and qualifications recognised etc. and my French is just not strong enough to be able to explain to parents that their baby is critically ill. That and I'm due in 5m...Smile It'll get better, I'm just bored and frustrated and can't turn to wine.

I had loads of Toni Bs last time - though our baby group called them Branston pickles Hmm - have been getting them basically every day this time since about 12w.

DulcetMoans · 07/02/2015 23:31

Bath trip sounds lovely pis! Thought about relaxing spa but wasn't sure what we can do there with bumps - is there a special pregnancy one you found or just a normal one?

Sounds a bit sucky chat, any volunteer work you can do to take the edge off? Language thing might still be an issue.

Do the 5k wil! It's great to have a goal and I can live it through you. Miss running in a weird!

Not sure why strep b has suddenly become a thing, I want to be safe but don't want to just fall into worrying because a one story got in the news. (Shame I can't apply same logic to air travel!)

Get any nice/odd comments la?

I've been with my more pregnant friend today who is due in April. Weird I won't see her until she's had a baby now probably! Was nice though, chats and moans about pregnancy. Knackered at home but took some next steps with the blanket making anyway so feel like I achieved.

Clean bedding too. Lovely!

LaLaLaaaa · 08/02/2015 01:00

Yo! Just finished work and I'm having a juice! No nice comments I think people aren't sure whether I'm just fat or preggers.

willywallace · 08/02/2015 02:05

Hate that awkward stage La. Still, it clearly means your bump isn't too big.

Ah I hopefully will eventually Dulcet but want to wait until I feel like my insides won't drop out of my vagina before I sign up Grin .

We're all out of kilter timewise. Both myself and microwil fell asleep for three hours earlier so now sleep just ain't happening. Although was amazing to get three hours sleep.

DulcetMoans · 08/02/2015 07:34

That's the stage I'm at la and my driver to tell work colleagues - I'm not fat, I'm growing a baby.

Having a detachable fanny could be a hinder in a run wil, good plan to fix that first!!

Parcel-gate continued yesterday with DH going runs to ask when get son was there. She got angry again, swore blind she didn't have it and told DH he should be sorry for coming round. Then said she'd given it to a girl that came night before which turned out not to be me but other neighbour. Went round there to check and they said she had brought it to them! Which makes more sense as how would they know we had a parcel?! Anyway, we have it now but started a neighbour war!

willywallace · 08/02/2015 07:45

Jeez I hope it was something good so it was worth it?! She sounds a bit batty poor thing. Although why hadn't other neighbours given it to you?

DulcetMoans · 08/02/2015 07:55

Well it's not really up to them to come to us to deliver parcels. They are the neighbour that normally gets it and we go round to collect. She is a bit batty we think but it's the anger that's the problem. Apparently the son seemed to understand she was a bit of a fruit loop and was alright about it. Never needed to be like this if she had said the first time or put a note in the door to say she'd given it to them.

We put a note through to say sorry and thank you, hopefully that's it now!

laurenamium · 08/02/2015 08:03

How strange about the parcel dulcet! Might it be worth mentioning her craziness to her son (out of her ear shot) so he can keep an eye on it or make a referral to social services so someone can keep an eye on her to make sure she's safe?

wil wedding planning hasn't really taken off yet, I've got lots I need I do but a combination of laziness, too much work and not enough money has prevented me so far! I've been baby shopping mostly instead Grin

Any news from zyla? Hope she's okay!

laurenamium · 08/02/2015 08:09

dulcet she could just be an angry old lady, but the confusion over the parcel plus anger are both things linked to dementia. Keep an eye out for her even if she does shout at you. Sorry, it's a thing close to my heart!

DulcetMoans · 08/02/2015 08:20

Oh I think he knows and he was there for the whole thing yesterday so he saw. We do barely see her as she doesn't come out in the evenings and we work in the day. She does have care and meals on wheels, plus her sons, so she is looked after. The anger probably is linked to the problem, although other neighbour says she's always been like it. Still, don't hold it against her. Mainly don't want her to think we were being mean or pushing her which is why we left a note.

Yeah zyla, where are you?!

I found wedding planning a slow start lauren but just do it at your own pace. Having baby things to do is much more exciting!
