New (and probably) final thread for those of us due in March (with a few lovely February ladies who didn't want to leave).

four also super impatient but not so much of a wriggle out of the ordinary. Nothing at all! Come on baby!

Gudgyx · 03/03/2015 08:29

Lucia Jane Scott made her appearance at 1052 yesterday weighing 8lb 4oz. She's incredible! I'll try post a pic but wifi is a bit shit in here

fishfingerSarnies · 03/03/2015 08:32

So tired, no sleep, no sign of baby.
38 weeks today, 14 days untill section. Would really love him sooner and naturally.
Think I will actually get more sleep once he's here.
Hope everyone is plodding along ok, and those lucky ones with newborns are enjoying cuddles and not too sore nips for the breastfeeds.

theonewiththenoisychild · 03/03/2015 08:57

congratulations gudgy Thanks

i have brought lansinoh therapearl hot and cold gel thingys to help this time with the early days breastfeeding. And boots own nipple cream as im allergic to lanolin as i found out after i had ds and slathered loads of lansinoh on my already very sore breasts Sad was not good at all. but at less than a third of the cost boots own seems to be great so im thankful that i found one without lanolin in it Grin 21 sleeps until c section. i will probably be more relaxed about it after my pre op appointment when i get answers to my questions about the anesthetic

ZylaB · 03/03/2015 13:11

Congrats gudgy!! Can't wait to see a pic Flowers

DurhamRed · 03/03/2015 15:00

Not sure if I'm 'nesting' or not but have spent the afternoon completely blitzing my kitchen...all surfaces, cupboards and drawers have been bleached and tidied. Yesterday I spent the afternoon sorting out my wardrobe, draws, bedside cabinets and under cot storage space...I even sorted out the bathroom cabinet!!

fishfingerSarnies · 03/03/2015 15:05

I've been the same Durham! Bleached skirting boards and scrubbed kitchen yesterday, today I've been mopping and hoovering anything and everything I can!

DurhamRed · 03/03/2015 15:18

fish ooh good point, think skirting boards need doing here too!

My OH is wondering who has kidnapped his girlfriend and replaced her with a cleaning freak Smile

m33r · 03/03/2015 15:33

I'm the same durham and fish but to be honest this is not entirely unusual for me so not hopeul it means anything other than I'm off work with some free time... Maybe I need to get a life! Wink

Lifeisabeach · 03/03/2015 20:48

Major nesting here too, I walked around the house with a bin bag today, throwing stuff out. I got such a sense of satisfaction from it! Also can't get enough of the smell of bleach and other cleaning products, I think I could bathe in them, mmmmm! /weirdo :D

MooMaid · 03/03/2015 20:51

Ladies - any suggestions on the following (TMI sorry)?

This morning I woke up, went to the toilet, downstairs to get breakfast and felt wet. Thought maybe I'd just leaked but when I went back upstairs there was a fair amount of liquid/discharge tinged in places with just a little brown but didn't look mucus-y. Put on a liner and laid down for hour or so but no other gushes as such although a little more of the brown stuff which has now stopped. It didn't particularly smell.

I've felt little tiny leaks/drips (perhaps) throughout the day but nothing you can see on the liner and I could just be imagining it.

I've had a couple of tightenings but again, nothing really to mention.

Baby moving throughout the day as usual. Do you think this is my mucus plug slowly disappearing? Should I have called the midwife? Seems silly as I don't know what it is. Has anyone else had this (I'm 39+3). Not sure what to expect, I'm guessing things are moving along but not sure what this discharge was I thought the plug was supposed to be like jelly?

Any advice? Thanks all!

m33r · 03/03/2015 21:56

moo I have no idea - sorry! If it were me I'd give triage a ring but then I called about my husband's cold sore Blush

Hope it is things starting for you!

theonewiththenoisychild · 03/03/2015 23:15

life im loving the smell of disinfectant atm Grin weird

Blue03 · 03/03/2015 23:22

Moo I'd call MAC and talk it through with them. (At least u will know either way and be able to get some sleep tonight)

I have been to MAC this evening as felt reduced movement from Baby G all day. Midwife did the usual prodding and measuring and placed me on a monitor.
No sooner had she put the straps across my belly did my little mischief spring into action. Just relieved it turned out to be nothing. 38 weeks tomorrow Smile

DRSLondon · 04/03/2015 05:53

Hi all, glad to have found you all. I'm 38+1 and desperate for labour to begin so I can meet this bubba. I also have been on a cleaning/sorting frenzy! Haven't felt any signs labour is coming. Drinking lots of raspberry leaf tea, walking lots and tweaking my nipples! No sex as I have a urine infection (again!). Come on babies!!

Ellizardo · 04/03/2015 07:48

Congrats Gudgy, she's finally here! and what a lovely name.

Have been booked in for induction at 39 weeks as baby is on the large side due to GD. Reassured to have the date and now getting all ducks in a row!

m33r · 04/03/2015 08:32

I feel sick today. Tell me that is a sign of imminent labour. I am sooooooo bored!

lavender20 · 04/03/2015 14:29

Hi all
havent caught up yet but congrats to all those with babies, hope your labours went well and babies are healthy. First week of mat leave for me andI feel dreadfull! Expected to be cleaning and sorting but dont have the energy!

Blue03 · 04/03/2015 18:30

Moo how r things today?

M33r, it can be a sign. It can also be one of those lovely pregnancy things that mean sweet FA. I keep getting a pain similar to a first contraction and it turns out to be just sodding wind. SOOOO disappointing!

DurhamRed · 04/03/2015 20:34

Well, today has been eventful had growth scans and antenatal appointment this afternoon and was expecting it to be straight forward (scan and baby all fine) however it seems that my bp is on the high side and i have protein in my urine...so now I've been admitted to hospital overnight for observations (my 6th admission to hospital now)...my pregnancy has been so Joyful! Fingers crossed I'll be able to home in the morning.

lavender20 · 04/03/2015 21:02

Hope you get sorted soon durham and everythings ok.

Also had those "contractions" that disappear with a good trump or toilet trip!Blush

fishfingerSarnies · 04/03/2015 22:27

Good luck Durham hope it's all ok. Not too long now what ever happens, bless you though you've had a rough time of it. Xx
