New (and probably) final thread for those of us due in March (with a few lovely February ladies who didn't want to leave).

All packed and ready for the morning! Second steroid hurt a bit though!
The vest is adorable Shelly!

Wherediparkmybroom · 26/02/2015 18:00

Strange as I started off with an April due date!

coastergirl · 26/02/2015 23:48

Well...after lots of stressing and to-ing and fro-ing, I've been booked in for a c section. I'm actually so impressed with the NHS and how they have dealt with my anxiety during pregnancy, they've really gone above and beyond what I would expect. Have also been put on medication for my gestational diabetes and reassured that the sugar levels I'm seeing are following a pattern they often see, higher in the morning because that's when the hormone levels are at their highest. Have also been reassured that the itching I'm getting is just that: itching. Had my bloods checked last week and liver is fine. At least I know I only have a couple more weeks of pregnancy!

Ellizardo · 27/02/2015 07:55

Congrats Coaster, when's the date? Finding the GD hard too and looking forward to appt on Tues to run thru options and see how he's doing for growth.

bouncesky · 27/02/2015 07:57

So according to the NHS I am now 40+3! According to my dates 39+3! Who else is due at the start of next week? They offered me a sweep but I've decided to let him come when he is ready! And my husband would like that to be as late as possible so as he can get some more work done!

MooMaid · 27/02/2015 08:07

I'm due end of next week bounce and I have a S&S booked in for my next midwife check up. I'm ready now so a little help will be appreciated if baby appears too comfortable!

pinkandstripey · 27/02/2015 09:23

Was sure I posted in here last night! Who knows where that went!!

So anyway, ds2 William Arthur was born by planned cs on 25th Feb at 10.28am :)

We're still in hospital, but going home today. All is well - it's true what lots of people say about elcs - it was very calm and civilised :) being very well looked after, and they have good drugs ;)

Emilyrose1290 · 27/02/2015 10:07

Congratulations pink!!!!

I am due end of next week but have a sweep booked for tomorrow, fingers Crossed!!!

theonewiththenoisychild · 27/02/2015 10:33

congratulations pink Thanks

shelley1977 · 27/02/2015 11:45

congratulations pink

MooMaid · 27/02/2015 11:56

Congrats Smile

Overnight stretchmarks have appeared above my belly button and they feel itchy and stretchy. I already have them elsewhere on tummy but this is first time above and I do feel tight skinned. I've been using cream to help moisturise, does anyone else have this? It's uncomfortable Sad

ZylaB · 27/02/2015 12:24

Congrats pink

DurhamRed · 27/02/2015 13:08

Congratulations Pink such fab news Smile Flowers

coastergirl · 27/02/2015 13:09

Elizardo I'm not going to put the date on here, just because anyone who knows me in RL would figure out who I am quite easily from my username and we don't really want people to know. Middle-ish of March though! I'm really relieved to have it sorted, I really wanted to avoid induction, but also wanted to avoid going overdue.

Moomaid my stretch marks have recently extended above my belly button too, particularly where my piercing used to be (took it out years ago). They are really itchy, but now my whole body is itchy too! I feel like I'm now making up for the fact that the majority of my pregnancy has been incredibly straight forward, physically!

m33r · 27/02/2015 14:29

Congrats pink!!! Babies are coming now!

Great you have your date coaster!

First day of mat' leave and I've been worried about how I'll get the time in since I have prepared everything in case I went early. Evidently i am very good at sitting around. Been watching a box set since 8am getting up only to eat and pee. Am now talking myself into a shower. And it's BLISS!! Smile

MooMaid · 27/02/2015 16:22

Thanks coaster was really down about it this morning. Sat down and burst into tears feeling all crap and unattractive. Just ready for baby now

Emilyrose1290 · 27/02/2015 16:42

Moo maid - I have stretch marks above my belly button too. My skin is so tight and itchy sore, so the marks could actually be worse. I am measuring big too, so that might have something to do with it. I hope you don't feel to sad about it Sad
I have been religiously using bio oil and I think this has reduced the appearance but not stopped me getting them - maybe it's worth a try?

bouncesky · 27/02/2015 19:33

Congrats Pink!! Sounds like everything has gone really well for you!

pinkandstripey · 27/02/2015 21:54

Thanks everyone :) yes, it was a good experience - certainly very different to last time! We've been home since lunchtime, so 48 hour discharge, I wouldn't have been ready to go home yesterday anyway. Healing well, bit sore if I forget what am doing, but home with decent amount of painkillers so should be fine.

Have been very well looked after, getting there with feeding (I hope!) had forgotten how much fun it is when milk comes in!

Ds1 is fascinated by the new addition, have she'd a few tears today - pride mostly :)

Good times in our household :)

Hope everyone else is well, the babies will come thick and fast now, it's March on Sunday! Xx

M27J5M · 28/02/2015 04:49

Just place marking till I catch up Smile

Lifeisabeach · 28/02/2015 06:41

Congratulations Pink! Glad to hear you're home and everything is going well. From the FB group it sounds as though there'll be lots more babies soon. Think I'll be waiting a while yet but I'm 37 weeks on Monday so then I'll be good to go for a home birth :-)

M27J5M · 28/02/2015 08:26

So how are all the ladies on here? Been keeping up more with the fb group so been catching up on here this morning! Hope your all well and have nice weekends ahead Smile

3isthemajicnumber · 28/02/2015 14:12

Congratulations pink.
Hope you are recovering quickly.
I've a sweep booked next Friday too. Really hope I go before then. Please please please.

m33r · 28/02/2015 14:27

What's your due date 3is?

Blue03 · 28/02/2015 15:00

Anyone having little silver floaters in their vision? Had them a few times today, previously only once a day for maybe the past 6 weeks. Midwife said to keep an eye on them as can be a sign of pre eclampsia but my BP is fine, no issues with urine test etc
