New (and probably) final thread for those of us due in March (with a few lovely February ladies who didn't want to leave).

aw theone, I think they must try and be all caveman when theyre awake but when theyre asleep, they get all cuddly! Mine does that too, I wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and he's all over the top of me, arms and legs wrapped around mine etc. One night last week I woke up and he was just looking at me smiling, I freaked out and asked him wtf is wrong haha he said sssh baby ssshh its okay and pulled me in for a cuddle :/ he didnt believe me when I told him the next day!

MGFM · 16/02/2015 15:30

My DH is a big cuddler. But we are separate sleepers...we both get too hot if we are wrapped round each other. He is sleeping in the spare room at the moment as this pregnancy is not only making me pee 6 times a night, I also get horrific heartburn and I am up and down drinking my gaviscon and then the real deal breaker was my snoring! He actually filmed me the other day and it is just constant noise, I don't even pause! haha so we both decided for his own sanity that he would move into the spare room. He comes in for cuddles every morning when he gets up and before he goes to bed. He talks to the bump, tells him all about his day and what his plans are for the next day. It is so sweet. He is going to such a good daddy. I can't wait to see him with his son!

theonewiththenoisychild · 16/02/2015 16:00

haha gudgy

bet my oh wishes we had a spare room sometimes mgfm

we dont cuddle in our sleep usually. just seems to be when im in pain with my back. even tho he is fast asleep he just seems to know. he doesnt believe me in the morning either haha. think thats whats called denial Grin

Hi everyone I am just checking in to say hi, haven't been on here much recently as moved house etc but am looking forward to the news of babies arriving soon... I am 37+3 and am also feeling like I couldn't possibly go all the way to 40!! Having tightenings so much throuout the day, feel like his head is down so low (like I have shooting pains downstairs!!!) period pains on and off for past 5 days and (tmi!!!) so many poos!!! This pregnancy business sure is glamorous... I don't know if this is all just me looking for signs that he is going to come or whether he is actually on his way soon.. What do you all think? Is anyone else feeling like this? Xx

Gudgyx · 16/02/2015 16:19

Me EmilyRose!! I just posted a panic rant on fb, every twinge is making me think she's coming Grin suppose we cant help it at this stage! I'm a day behind you datewise! I've had a word with baby she's been told not to come right now, I'm not ready!! Not mentally anyway.

Haha MGFM, I'm getting scolded for my snoring at the moment too. I was using those breathe right strips, but they cost 6 for a pack of 10 which I think its quite expensive!! Not sure if we can get them on minor ailments since the snoring is due to pregnancy....

fourmonthstogo · 16/02/2015 16:24

Emily and Gudgy, do your bumps look lower? I'm 37 + 1 and feel convinced he's coming early, lots of tightenings and bh, some lower back pain but I don't think the bump has "dropped" yet. If it's going to?

pinkandstripey · 16/02/2015 16:41

MGFM I wish mn had a like button for your last post :)

Emilyrose1290 · 16/02/2015 16:49

Everyone has told me my bump looks lower and like it has dropped four but I am not sure I can't tell. Maybe I will take a photo tonight and compare it to previous pics... I wonder if I am just getting over excited!

M27J5M · 16/02/2015 17:12

Awwwww all your OH stories are so sweet Smile

I defo think the time is near for me, had period like cramps and braxton hicks for weeks now but today cramps in tummy and back feel diff and are worse! Just don't feel right at all! It may all calm down tho so we shall see!

m33r · 16/02/2015 18:57

About to have my first sip or rlt! Wish me luck. Will get on the dates when I next go shopping.

Loving the OH stories !! It's so sweet and such a change from some of the oh stories you get on mn. Makes us super lucky I think.

I have no signs of imminent labour. Nothing at all. I have slight period cramps occasionally bit nothing else... Nada! I think this one might be staying til April. Shockin good news, his head is now in my pelvis which means he's very unlikely to turn: looks like I'm pushing this one out Grin

fishfingerSarnies · 16/02/2015 19:55

Awww all the oh stories are making me really emotional, really miss my dh. He popped home for a day this weekend but it's not enough Sad
Had my consultant appointment today c-section booked in but I'm really pissed off because they said all along it would be at 39 weeks and have suddenly decided they won't do it before 40 so all the plans I have made for childcare and my friend booking a week off to be my birth partner and help me after the birth have to be changed by a week.
Grrr also the week I'm 39 weeks dh is only in Cardiff so can be in London in just over 2 hours if I need him or so he can meet the baby however the next week he's bloody 4/5 hours away :-( though the positive is I will only have one week at home without him instead of 2. Still feeling grumpy though as no one ever said it even might be at 40 weeks always 39.

theonewiththenoisychild · 16/02/2015 20:27

awwww fish that sounds very unfair. i get my section date a week tomorrow and i hope they dont say i have to wait until 40 weeks because that will be right at the start of the easter hols and also rather too close to ds's birthday.... dc's easter hols start 27th march my birthday is 28th march my edd is 29th march and ds's birthday is 1st april so will have to put my foot down i think if they try messing with my dates

theonewiththenoisychild · 16/02/2015 20:30

not a week tomorrow a week wednesday

fishfingerSarnies · 16/02/2015 22:34

Wow theone end of march is a busy time for you!

Gudgyx · 16/02/2015 22:41

Four month I'm not sure tbh about the bump dropping. Himself says it looks like it has, but baby is extended breech with her bum in my pelvis and head up near my ribs so I don't see how it can have dropped :/ God knows, I just know I am mega uncomfy right now!

theonewiththenoisychild · 16/02/2015 22:55

yes very busy fish i wont let them book my section for that late because then i cant be sure i will be home for ds's birthday and he will be 5 and im not missing his birthday he'd be heartbroken

shelley1977 · 16/02/2015 23:22

I'm at hospital tomorrow for another check! Going to bring up a few things and see what's said. I know I'm not getting left to go past the 30th of March but nothing else has been mentioned yet. I will probably go a week or so before, or at least I hope I do. I just want to make it to March then baby can come Smile

lotsoftoast · 17/02/2015 06:39

Just popping my head in to mark my place - I'm impressed with everyone managing to keep up here and on FB!

Popsicle30 · 17/02/2015 06:46

Hi ladies. I contributed to the thread a bit in the first trimester but have been a lurker through the rest of my pregnancy. I was going to get more involved once I had started maternity leave but baby had different plans!

I finished work on Friday 6th Feb at 36+4. Waters broke at 6pm on Saturday 7th Feb and my beautiful baby girl was born at 3pm on Sunday 8th. 3weeks and a day early.

I had been drinking RLT for about 2weeks prior (1-2 cups per day) but I don't think that had anything to do with her being early. I always kind of felt I'd be early as my mum was with all three of hers.

I just wanted to wish you all luck and to enjoy any time off prior to the birth.

M27J5M · 17/02/2015 07:20

Congratulations Popsicle Smile

pinkandstripey · 17/02/2015 07:58

Congratulations popsicle :) Hope everything went well and your little girl is thriving x

theonewiththenoisychild · 17/02/2015 09:14

congratulations popsicle Thanks

i have to admit im getting fed up of being pregnant now and as long as baby arrives at a safe gestation and doesnt need nicu the sooner the better i say. i havent had any sleep the last 3 nights Sad back ache was especially awful this morning. oh got out of bed and gave dc's their breakfast and it was a little while before i could move Sad

Popsicle30 · 17/02/2015 09:43

Thank you both. I had a failry quick labour, especially with it be in my first - 9 hours in total. She is settling in very well at home. Best of luck everyone. Your little ones will soon be here xx

Popsicle30 · 17/02/2015 09:44

Oops typos... Some lack of sleep to blame!

shelley1977 · 17/02/2015 09:57

congratulations popsicles x
