Sorry for the rough day you've had Strawberry. Many hugs to you!!

Treaclepie19 · 27/01/2015 18:26

shoot would that be in the same place? Low down on the left near my groin?

That's reassuring :)

Lovely pic 45monty :)

Fingers crossed it can all get sorted for you strawberry, sending hugs x

45Monty · 27/01/2015 18:39

treacle I have had pain on my lower left side for over two weeks. They found the cysts on both of my ovaries, and the one on the left is larger. When they did the pelvic ultrasound and pressed on the right pain radiated to the left. I experienced no pain on the right. When they did the intravaginal ultrasound and manipulated to check the left ovary, the pain went up significantly. They think that is what is causing my pain and sensitivity on the left, as they were able to rule out ectopic. I'm sure there is the added "making room" pains that contribute as well.

If you are bleeding, feel any shoulder pain, in addition to the pelvic pain - don't hesitate to go in.

shinjuku09 · 27/01/2015 18:40

So sorry to hear you're news Cinnamon and Spud. Hope you are both ok and being looked after

Treaclepie19 · 27/01/2015 18:42

Thank you 45monty, I'll keep an eye on it :)

brickiemum2 · 27/01/2015 18:43

Virtual hugs strawberry and some Cake

shinjuku09 · 27/01/2015 18:43

Lovely to see all the pics! Bet it is so lovely to see them all and know there is a real life baby in there.

Hope tomorrow is a better day Strawberry (and anyone else who had a bad day - only managed to read last few posts!).

Feeling worse every day here plus got cold coming plus DD is teething and ill. Oh happy day!

StrawberryCheese · 27/01/2015 19:04

Thanks guys, sorry for being a bit doom and gloom. I'm looking at the scan pics and trying to imagine what my little one is like. 5+4 and time is going by so slowly. DH started talking names last night, told him it was a bit soon for that but he just wanted to tell me that he doesn't like names beginning with K. He gave Kevin as an example Grin no fear, we're not calling it Kevin!

ShootTheMoon · 27/01/2015 19:45

treacle, yes, for me it is a shooting extreme temporary pain, right down into my groin, markedly on one side or the other. If I'm going to sneeze or cough I bend me knees which usually solves the problem. From just inside the pointy bit of my hip bone diagonally into my groin.

2 weeks 6 days til my dating scan, not that I'm counting....! Had a reassurance scan at 6 weeks (3 weeks ago now) but it feels like forever ago. Waiting is so hard! :(

mrsdos · 27/01/2015 19:57

Thank you for the advice. I have spoken to 111 who have told me to call my gp tomorrow morning or call them again if it worsens (at the moment it seems to have stopped) and may be referred for a early scan. Don't think Dh was expecting to walk in to find me sobbing on the sofa when he came home from work this eveningSad

Mummyboo30 · 27/01/2015 20:26

Fingers crossed it was a one off Mrsdos
Lots of lovely scan pictures today, I'm very jealous. I've still got 4 weeks until I see my little bean, no early scan for me. :(

nutelladipper · 27/01/2015 20:27

Aww 45monty your due date is my daughters due date Grin (she didn't appear till the2nd October mind, Shock)

alien11 · 27/01/2015 20:31

mummyboo I haven't even got a scan date yetSad will be sometime in march so absolutely ages to get through yet...
Hardly have any symptoms really. No sickness/nausea ( had mild nausea but not sick with dd) have a dry mouth but that's about it. Trying to stay positive :-) 1 month until my booking appt when if all goes well I'll be 10 weeks. 2 days after that I jet off skiing for a week Grin
I really want my booking appt at home like last time plus would save my dd (3.5) having to sit there for an hr especially as we don't want to tell her until we ve had the 12 week scan to check it's not a mmc.

alien11 · 27/01/2015 20:32

Ps kitty and others in Kent - whereabouts are you ? I'm nr Maidstone

Mummyboo30 · 27/01/2015 20:50

Alien, I'm very similar, hardly any symptoms really. I didn't have many last time round either though, so trying not to worry too.

Mummyboo30 · 27/01/2015 20:57

Oops posted too soon! Trying not to worry too much until the scan. :S

Tallalime · 27/01/2015 21:43

Evening all Grin

I got offered a job today. I am going to turn it down, it's a great job but long hours and a lot of pressure. Plus they are looking to fill the position as the woman doing it now just came back from maternity and went part time and it is not a part time role Sad

I am gutted as I really like the people and the company and I think I would be brilliant at it BUT if I take it they will be mighty pissed off when they find out I am pregnant IF I can hide it through the probation period and I think it would ruin any chance of people being happy with me there.

So I think I am going to look for a maternity cover or at least something I care less about. I will phone them tomorrow and be honest and ask them to keep my details on file as I will be looking for something 'proper' in 18 months time.

So typical, 3 years trying and it happens mid-relocation while I need to find work Grin

Ah well booking in tomorrow and scan a week on Thursday. Yay!

Lauramum23 · 27/01/2015 22:00

Bummer about the job tellalime, I'm sure it will work out fine , things happen for a reason don't they.

Exiting for scan x

Cornberry · 27/01/2015 22:52

tallalime that sucks :( isn't it worth telling them that you're pregnant, and you want to be honest and you're really keen and can they still consider you, or maybe work something out like a short term contract? If you're right for the job they may work around it and be grateful for your honesty?

TerrysNo3 · 27/01/2015 23:24

tallalime I agree, if you're going to turn the job down anyway because you're pregnant then worth telling them and asking if there is a solution, at least it leaves the ball in their court. A friend of mine has done just that recently and they've still offered her the job. And if you have to be a working parent,it's far better to have a more demanding job that you enjoy than one that you don't (if we have to be away from our babies then better you don't miss them too much!)

Great news on the scans today, we deserved some good news on here!!

monkeymoonpig · 28/01/2015 01:02

Told boss today, wasn't really planning to yet as only 9wks but i had a feeling this was the week i would get a payrise and just felt awful knowing that in a couple of wks time id be like "thanks! Oh by the way. ...." knew it wouldn't make a difference and my lovely boss seemed genuinely happy and said any changes would still go ahead plus an increase in holidays. This was surprising and definitely a bonus - i seem to use up so many hols on appts for DC1. So feeling very lucky today :)

Roll on 12 wk (13wk in my case) scan! Taking for ever and another 4wks to go :-/ wish this nausea would do one as well, sickness bands help a bit. Thank god its not summer and can cover them up with jumpers.

mspfan curious about your name - Manics fan? Or is that my own obsession taking over?!

keesh87 · 28/01/2015 06:28

Hi all! Grin

SpamAnderson · 28/01/2015 07:02

Morning all :) feeling very 'woe is me' this morning :( since yesterday one of my nostrils has been swollen shut and really sore (apparently can be caused by the hormone change :/), now this morning my glands are up under my jaw on one side and really sore, now I can't stop sneezing and worst of all, no preggy symptoms :( my belly is all soft and squidgy, boobs aren't sore either! I want my symptoms back dammit! I'm going to go insane while I wait for my bump to appear!

A bit tmi, but I had loads of discharge last night, like egg white-ish texture but white not clear... I've not had that before, is that normal?!

I seriously don't remember worrying this much with the first 2!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 28/01/2015 07:04

Hey Spam! I'm not sure about the discharge, but I can sympathise with the nose situation! Bloody annoying!
