I've had an increase in discharge, think it all part of the fun of pregnancy?!
Days were going so quickly until I found out I was pregnant now they are dragging!1 month today until
I go skiing yay!

brickiemum2 · 28/01/2015 07:31

I had awful nightmares about losing the baby last night Sad So so intense that it was actually a shock to wake up and realise that I'm still pregnant. I slept for 9.5 hours and I'm still exhausted.

lovesmycake · 28/01/2015 07:37

Loving the scan pictures everyone.

spam and doctor I totally sympathise about the stuffy nose I had the same first time around I'm sure it's what makes my morning sickness worse. On the bright side though spam it is a pregnancy symptom!!

Oh brickie that sounds horrible Brew

mspfan · 28/01/2015 07:49

Morning everyone.

Hope you feel better soon spam.

Monkeymoonpig you're absolutely right - my username is Manic's fan! Was struggling to come up with a name and am a big fan of theirs.

Went out for drinks with some friends last night - stuck to soft drinks and said I was detoxing after my recent holiday but one of my friends kept going on about me being pregnant! How have you all dealt with questions about not drinking? Tbh I do sometimes go out and not drink so thought I'd get away with it!

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 28/01/2015 07:54

Spam, Im feeling exactly the same last night and today. Im sure my boobs aren't half as sore as they have been, and ive hardly felt sick for days. My stomach doesn't seem as hard today either like you said seems squidgy again! So my reassurance scan last week reassured me for about 5 minutes!
I cant book another one can I?? I have 5 weeks til my 12 (13) week scan.
im going to go nuts.
I do keep thinking back to when I was pregnant with DD and im sure I didn't have many symptoms then either. it was 8 years ago so struggling to remember but maybe im just one of the lucky ones.
I cant seem to get MMC's out my head. I did suffer one 10 years ago and only found out at 8 weeks at my dating scan.
oh I have a stuffy nose today too. loads of germs hanging about tho.

monkeymoonpig · 28/01/2015 07:59

mspfan ive just sold my tickets for The Holy Bible tour in June. Abs gutted not to go but at 6mths pregnant would spend whole time worrying bout standing so long, noise, vibrations, ppl banging into me etc Sad Manics are bit od an obsession lol x

FeelTheNoise · 28/01/2015 08:01

My symptoms have eased too, which terrifies me Confused
Apart from my moods

DoctorDonnaNoble · 28/01/2015 08:16

I also had to sell my Holy Bible tour tickets. Broke my heart.

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 28/01/2015 08:18

I went to see the killers at wembley at 6 months pregnant last time round. DS is fine and I'm sure inheriting my taste in music. Think the last gig I went to was at around 8 months pregnant. This time round I won't be going to so many, and am going to forgo the script in Dublin but only because I am trying to save as much money as possible this time round. Still got a fair few gigs booked in for this year yet though

mspfan · 28/01/2015 08:28

Monkeymoonpig and doctordonnanoble - nice to find some other Manic's fans. I even walked down the aisle to one of their songs!

H and I have tickets for Glastonbury (end of June) and am in 2 minds about whether to go or not. I think camping at 6 months might not be that fun and if it's really wet and muddy then walking around is hard enough without being 6 months pregnant. I love Glastonbury though, so would be sad to miss it.

Mummyboo30 · 28/01/2015 08:37

Morning all, given in to using the hair band on my jeans today. Oh the comfort! :)
Hope everyone has a good day!

Becca83 · 28/01/2015 08:46

Oh no. I have tickets for two foos gigs in may and June (obsessed). I'll be around 6 months, I never even considered not going. Is it not a good idea?

monkeymoonpig · 28/01/2015 08:50

I think if it had been a big arena i may have been tempted but as its the very small Wolves Civic (fab venue) there wouldn't really be anywhere to tuck myself away out of others peoples way.....also if i had seated tickets i may also be tempted, but sold out so thats not an option. Was really looking forward to hearing Holy Bible too! Love the older stuff sp much. Never mind, hopefully they'll gig again next year Hmm

monkeymoonpig · 28/01/2015 08:53

Ive also been lucky enough to get a seat at Leicester Catherdral for Richard III reinterment service in March - am DEFINITELY going to that! Burial of a King - once in a life time event! But I'll be 4mths preg then and it'll be a much more relaxed affair that a Manics concert i should imagine! Grin

Treaclepie19 · 28/01/2015 09:06

Get the feeling you're near me monkey if you're going to wolves civic?

TerrysNo3 · 28/01/2015 09:15

monkey wolves civic brings back some memories now... I grew up in Birmingham and used to spend Friday nights at the club they had on there. this would have been 97-99. Tbh, the mosher stuff was never really my scene but some good friends liked it and it was fun. I went to the spice girls reunion concert when I was 6 months pregnant with my DS! Grin

duckbilled · 28/01/2015 09:15

Becca I went to see rob zombie at 5 months and had standing tickets. I was sensible and stayed at the back away from any potential injuries and all was fine Smile.
I am off to my booking in appointment in a bit, with a toddler in tow..... Wish me luck!!

mrsdos · 28/01/2015 09:18

Morning all.
After a pretty sleepless night I have spoken to my GP who has referred me for a scan at the local EPU on Monday. Think I will have to speak to work on Friday to ask for the day off. I am off sick again today still full of cold Sad so I think they are going to ask questions soon.
As for the symptoms, I have realised over the last few days that my boobs don't hurt as much and I don't feel so sick either, but that could be the cold.

Treaclepie19 · 28/01/2015 09:22

mrsdos, hope all goes well.
Try not to worry about the symptoms, they do come and gp.

Despite the site online saying my epu is self referral, they're not.
They were very rude but I explained I had been to gp but pain was continuing and I thought they were self referral.
They've agreed to see me tomorrow afternoon but weren't happy.

Becca83 · 28/01/2015 09:26

Thanks duckbilled! That's what I was thinking of doing, they're both in big outdoor arenas, so hopefully not too bad.

Good luck for today x

brickiemum2 · 28/01/2015 09:42

Lol, now I'm going to spend all day with super charger heaven stuck in my head Grin

monkeymoonpig · 28/01/2015 09:46

treaclepie I'm in Shropshire, bout hours drive to Wolves. Fab venue, seen so much there over the years. Manics, Muse & Coldplay (before they were big), best non-music by far was Bottom Live, Rik Mayall is/was my comedy hero! Good times Grin

Treaclepie19 · 28/01/2015 09:54

I'm not far away. Just on the entrance of south staffs about 5 miles from wolves.
I was at the slade rooms last night :)

Choccyhobnob · 28/01/2015 09:57

Alien I'm near Maidstone too! About 10 mins away x

SpamAnderson · 28/01/2015 10:04

Radio 1 big weekend is coming to Norwich this year! I will be about 23 weeks then and I'm sooo hoping we can get hold of tickets... Slight hint there at what area of the country I'm in haha! I'm hoping we're allowed to take under 16s accompanied as dd1 would love to go see Taylor Swift perform! Will stand right at the back though so no risk of shoving or what not!I listen to a lot of loud music, I love my metal, dub step and pretty much anything but my kids absolutely love music now, I'm sure because they listened to music constantly while they were in my tummy!
