Will be thinking of you donna and sending lots of positive thoughts

cornberry I think I'm going to have to defer the exam... Thought of getting to London is bad enough!! You could ask your gp for a different anti sickness pill via a telephone consultation if you want?

GP rang today, had booking appointment 9 days ago and apparently I have a uti... Not surprised, thought the crampy pains was just everything stretching!!

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 05/02/2015 19:21

So sorry Elsa.

Talla - congrats! Must have been a massive surprise

I don't like maternity jeans full stop. Over bump never seemed to stay up no matter how big my bump was, and under made me feel like I was flashing bits of my undercarriage everywhere. Leggings and maternity tights all the way for me, under dresses of all types.

shinjuku09 · 05/02/2015 20:46

Best of luck for tomorrow Donna.

I prefer under bump as hate having anything elasticated high up round my belly.

Lauramum23 · 05/02/2015 21:11

Under bump early pregnancy and handy for afterShock!! Over bump are my favourite tho. But seen as tho it's gonna be warm when we are fat leggings and tunics might be nice, I hate jeans at the best of times anyway Grin

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 21:12

Best of luck Donna - I am also a Colchester Hospital Girl :)

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 21:16

Congrats talla!
Lovely pic kitty :)

Sorry to hear that elsa, i hope they are wrong.

Alien, since you've had spotting I'd go and get your gp to refer you for a scan. Then you won't have to pay.

At 6+4, i was dated 6 weeks bit could see a tiny little baby with a tiny flickering heartbeat so you should be able to see what you need to :)

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 21:18

Posted too soon, good luck tomorrow doctordonna :)

MyNameIsSuz · 05/02/2015 21:23

GoooRooo, derailing completely but I just saw you on a baby names thread I was reading and had to tell you that our sons have the same name! High five!

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 21:25

I know MyNameIsSuz! I remember you from last year actually when I was active on here before my MC - you're the only other mother of a Franklin I've come across! Good choice! Grin

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 21:26

Hang on - we're both expecting again and due in Sept?! Ha - wonder if we'll go for the same names again?

MyNameIsSuz · 05/02/2015 21:27

Oh my goodness maybe! You'll have to tell me all your boys names as we've got nada.

MyNameIsSuz · 05/02/2015 21:28

Oh and at my booking in today the midwife was most impressed with the name Grin

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 21:29

We've only got the one that we can agree on - Archie - so we're going with it. Never of us is particularly overwhelmed by it but our own choices are hated by the other so we're not left with much. I find boys names sooooo hard.

Cornberry · 05/02/2015 21:30

Good idea butterfly. Worth a try. Recommend any particular one?

Must be a useful time to be a trainee doctor! 9 days is a bit of a gap. I had blood in my urine when I went to my booming appointment and the midwife said they would call if it grew anything but I didn't hear back... Have they given you antibiotics?

sebsmummy1 · 05/02/2015 21:33

Anyone near me in Cambridgeshire? Grin

Whatabout · 05/02/2015 21:33

Ag123 and I both have DS's called Wilf. September mummy's obviously have very good unique name choosing powers!

MyNameIsSuz · 05/02/2015 21:33

Ahh snap, we're polar opposites! Franklin wasn't a first choice either. The only one we can agree on is Vincent, but I think it's a bit marmite.

MyNameIsSuz · 05/02/2015 21:34

Wilf is an awesome name!

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 21:35

I like Vincent but a friend of mine has one - he's a Vinnie mostly.

Franklin was a family name and we were still talking about it on the way to the hospital! I got my way after the labour and got to have it, DH got to choose the middle name ;)

Loving Wilf!

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 21:39

DH and i like Vincent :)
Among others but I agree boys names are hard!

alien11 · 05/02/2015 22:00

Thanks treacle going to make a docs appt tomorrow to see what they say.hopefully they ll have an appt!
The spotting was only a small amount and cramps on and off all evening.
Wld just love a scan to see if there's anything there.
Will let you all know how I get on

GoooRooo · 05/02/2015 22:02

Good luck alien. Hope it turns out to be nothing sinister.

Bippidee · 05/02/2015 22:09

Good luck alien, keeping everything crossed for you.

mrsdos · 05/02/2015 22:09

alien it sounds like you are going through the same as I did last week.. I was lucky in that we had a scan and everything was ok, they couldn't pinpoint where the bleed was from and just said sometimes it happens. My fingers will be crossed for you x Smile

Treaclepie19 · 05/02/2015 22:53

Good luck alien :)
It's quite common but I know it's impossible not to worry.
